I started having muscle spasms in my arms and I couldn&#39;t do my work on my job. They hurt so bad at times that I would cry like a baby. I stopped taking the drug and maybe 6 months later I developed high blood pressure and decreased kidney function. The doctor said my kidneys must have already been damaged and the celebrex made them worse. So, now, 8 years later, I have chronic kidney disease with only 10% kidney function and am nearing dialysis in the near future. This makes me really upset with this doctor because you would think he would have known better than prescribing this medicine to me in the first place. I also blame myself for not doing more research on this medicine and finding out the truth for myself. Every time I hear someone talk about celebrex, I tell them they better be careful and look for another medicine to take for their pain or they will be sorry, just like I am.</p>
