I know the son of a P&G executive...the exec. blames the Rely tampon debaucle ON THE WOMEN WHO WERE DAMAGED! I hope I live to see the day when these arrogant companies - like P&G - are out of the (chemical-laden) menstrual (& personal care & household cleaning) products business. All WE have to do is stop buying their health-damaging items & they'll abandon the 'product lines' so fast we'll wonder where they went all of a sudden, and why we didn't think of it decades ago. There are other - better - ways to get our needs met: I like & appreciate the references to the alternative companies offering healthier choices; thanks Dr. M! I LOVE the small, home-based, woman-owned business that sell handmade items through a forum called ETSY.COM; and Im crazy about the website INSTRUCTIBLES.COM where you can find free instructions for making your own yourself. When we boycott companies that push what hurts us, we say "we don't want it", and because they don't make anymore money from it...IT GOES AWAY! I haven't used P&G products (or Neltle's either, among others) for years & I'm living a satisfying, happy & healthy life. Simple AND easy.

Its mentioned in the article that they expand in length and that just boggles my mind since the product has always been too long to begin with and then it's made worse by expanding in length during use. How stupid is that? When I was in my teens it was the only internal product on the market. I had to cut off some of the length. Thank goodness other products came on the market, eventually.
