I was dizzy, so very dizzy and I could not see or walk. I stopped driving and when I was able to make an appointment with my neurologist, he confirmed, by doing in office tests, I had MS. In May, I went and had an MRI done which confimred my worst fears. Today, in 2008, I am able to walk, talk, have vision and drive again. I am doing an injection therapy that, for now, seems to be working for me.

My twins are 2 years, 4 months today. I would love to be able to stop taking my injections, but with my twins being so needy still, my hubby and parents say, NO, do not get off this therapy which is working so well for me right now.

Along with taking this injection, I drink, when I can, Riso Trene (rice soluable) and drink Mon Vie. I will really never know which one is working for me, I guess, until I get off this injection.

This article talks about sunlight. Well, I grew up in SoCal and was at the beach all the time! Summer, Spring, Fall, it did not matter. From the time I was 8 years old until I was 25 and moved up North. I mean, I was a sun goddess. I loved being tan and looking tan. How then, could I be diagnosed with MS? I soked in so much sun in my childhood, I tend to disbelieve this article. As far as I know, nobody in my family had MS.

With my recent MRI, my neurologist told me some of my lesions were going away, while some were worse. If I were to just totally remove ALL chemicals, Cherry Coke, ALL CANDY, ALL SWEETS, from my diet, would I them be cured? I am looking for a cure.

Who here can give me a cure? I hate being sick and I HATE DRUGS!!! I have been taking Tergerol for epilesy since I was 9 as well.

Somebody, find me a cure. I HATE lining the pockets of evil drug companies and letting our government know which drugs I am on.

Thanks and God Bless!!

This causes a gradual shut down of neural functions in the sensory cortex and as a consequence a gradual shut down of the neural pathways from the motion enabling part of the body to the motor cortex. The cure for this is help provided by understanding family members and healthcare providers. The "understanding" part is optainable through education in a completely new paradigm of medicine. It is called German New Medicine: germannewmedicine.ca/.../sbsintro.html , and was re-discovered by Dr. med. Mag. theol. Ryke Geerd Hamer of Germany. The circumstances of the active suppression of this knowledge, available since 1981 are very tragic! Millions of people have died needlessly through ignorant treatment methods by the prevailing medical establishment. The above URL will lead you into the world of understanding, as Nature intended. Cheers.

I was diagnosed when I went numb from the waist down. Got most feeling and use back in about 3 months. Long story short, 3 years later, pregnancy brought back all feeling and muscle tone, like I had never been sick. After the birth of my baby, I started having weakness, tingling, the whole familiar crap that goes along with ms. After much research, I started taking mega doses of Vitamins A, B1, B6, B12, C, D, E, and magnesium. All the symptoms disappeared. (I wouldn't recommend taking the A and D in mega doses unless under doctors care, as these are fat soluble vitamins and can become toxic if you take them in mega doses for too long.) I happen to work in a lab where I can check my own levels. I now take normal doses and do not have symptoms unless I stay off the vitamins for a week or so. I also stay away from anything diet, and anything with nitrates, which brings back symptoms, even in small amounts. It is amazing the things that cause symptoms. When I use aerosol hairspray, my legs with tingle all day. So guess what I dont use anymore? I have to agree with this article, I too feel better in the summertime when I can be outside in the sunshine, but I too, am fair skinned and can't be out too long, hence the vit. D supplement. As for rebuilding the myelin sheath coming strictly from DNA - I disagree. I think it is a combination of DNA, environmental factors, and how people abuse their bodies, aware or not. I havent done much research on LDN, as I am under the impression this is for people with severe ms.

It is certainly similar to a mild, fluctuating, MS. It has included sight loss, (now recovered).

As a result of experience, I avoid continuous daily intake of many of the foods/supplements that have proved helpful. A typical example of this is cod liver oil. This brought on a remarkable, almost complete, recovery. Yet, within a few months, it became ineffective. I found that to maintain effectiveness it was necessary to have a 'starvation period' each week. I retained about 95% of the gains by only taking the oil on weekends. (Until I was targeted by a drug company, and abandoned with devastating visual & brain damage). Turmeric, however, has proved continuously helpful when taken daily.

And, sunlight is everywhere. While it may aid in some diseases, the absence of sunlight is not the only risk factor in other diseases. If it were, everyone would have these diseases. But, not everyone does. However, some people have a greater risk of getting certain diseases because of both their lifestyle, and the lifestyle of the industries in their communities, which may be poisoning their air, soil, waters, and agriculture of both foods imported in and exported out of their communities to others around the world. Hence, you can eat what was once called a healthy diet, but if your diet has been inadvertently polluted by industrial chemicals, including pesticides, you may still experience the disease.

Example: Methanol is released by myriad of healthy fruits and vegetables, and it has also been on lists of active and inert ingredients used in pesticides. Methanol, which has been linked to multiple sclerosis is "released during the metabolism of food additives such as the artificial sweetener, aspartame, and /dimethyl dicarbonate/ (DMDC), a yeast inhibitor added to a variety of beverages."

Fox was trying to figure out where his Parkinson's came from, they discovered that two other crew members from a series he did as a teenager, also had Parkinson's. These are not coincidences. There is always a reason. And while good people are trying to discover how, why and who, there are more people with more money that are trying to keep it quiet. If we put all of our collective heads together, we can probably help to discover the catalysts for these diseases.

When going to TOXNET and searching for aspartame, methanol, this heading came up:

ASPARTAME

Synonym: methanol,

22839-47-0

Other synonyms for aspartame include: CANDEREL, EQUAL, NUTRASWEET, SWEET DIPEPTIDE, TRI-SWEET, APM; 3-AMINO-N-(ALPHA-CARBOXYPHENETHYL)SUCCINAMIC ACID N-METHYL ESTER;

3-Amino-N-(alpha-methoxycarbonylphenethyl) succinamic acid, and so forth.

A related HSDB record includes:

93 [METHANOL] (Metabolite)

In searching for aspartame, formaldehyde (a breakdown product), this came up:

FORMALDEHYDE

Synonym: aspartame,

50-00-0

**... Methanol is metabolized in human beings by the same enzymes that metabolize ethanol, alcohol dehydrogenase and aldehyde dehydrogenase, to toxic intermediates, formaldehyde and formic acid. [Hardman, J.G., L.E. Limbird, P.B., A.G. Gilman. Goodman and Gilman's The Pharmacological Basis of Therapeutics. 10th ed. New York, NY: McGraw-Hill, 2001., p. 1886]**PEER REVIEWED**

**The first step in the metabolism of methanol is oxidation to formaldehyde. In rats, a catalase-peroxidase system is primarily responsible for the initial step, whereas in humans and monkeys, alcohol dehydrogenase plays a major role. Despite the difference, the initial metabolic step proceeds at similar rates. The third possible pathway in methanol oxidation is hepatic microsomal oxidation involving the cytochrome P450 system.**

[Bingham, E.; Cohrssen, B.; Powell, C.H.; Patty's Toxicology Volumes 1-9 5th ed. John Wiley & Sons. New York, N.Y. (2001)., p. V6 p.374]**PEER REVIEWED**

**Methanol is a hydrolytic metabolite of aspartame accounting for 10% of aspartame consumed.**

But, methanol is not only a metabolite of aspartame. Stay tuned.

Chiropractors have always gotten good results with people with MS. In the Chiropractic College Clinic we were taught to note that all our MS patients had a history of physical trauma, often a motor vehicle crash with whiplash. Damage to the cervical spine with demyelination following some years later. Clearly these people have a (genetic?) predisposition. It seems like a logical connection
