&lt;p&gt;One major Pizza company in the UK, Pizza Hut.......we stopped visiting them some years ago, warm salads under hot lightins and without fail the runs when we got home.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Personally, I always wash my hands without fail, particularly in the kitchen.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Apparently many men do not wash their hands after watering the horse, just how disgusting is that ?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;No for me, the only safe cooking is either done by myself, my wife of mother.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;People seem to forget that disease has no conscience.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;That is a fact!! Our public health departments in both jurisdictions are ever improvigng cleanliness and hygene as they should as all of us are either more or less susceptible to our planets bacteria good or bad.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A more serious poison sodas (coke and pepsi etc) marketed and fed to a big part of our world for massive profits to an industry that mixes sugar and water and a few root flavours and helps poor old Warren inflate his billions and the advertising agencies and diabetic clinical industry working.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The industry should be taxed to afford income to a counter ad agency to explain what is happenning &amp;nbsp;healthwise by the intake of so much sugared water and by encouraging such an intake to be taken with care.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I take a jim beam and coke once or twice and a cold coke 6oz maybe twice a week.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I aaam not anti soda and coke .&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I am anti excess promo of not very healthy drinks.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;If you want lemons in your water, buy organic and then bring them home and soak them in water with some vinegar or add a drop of hydrogen peroxide in the water and then scrub them with a vegetable brush.&lt;/p&gt;

But I can assure you, there're lots like me who need help to prevent disease so we too, could avoide disappointment in travel plans, family outings and business appointments.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;As Dr Mercola says, a bit of bacteria on some lemon wedges is the probably the least of your concerns when eating out if you're not immunosuppressed. &amp;nbsp;In many instances it's probably the healthiest part of some fast food meals - at least it will have a stimulating effect on most immune systems as opposed to suppressing them!&lt;/p&gt;

Armed with this research knowledge what then does one do; keep taking the lemon slices? Probably; but the knowledge is welcomed.&lt;/p&gt;

Lots of times I carry a paper towel with soap and water on it in a small snack bag. &amp;nbsp;I wish the people handling my food was as careful. &amp;nbsp;I also wash my hands continuously while cooking at home. &amp;nbsp;I don't guess it is going to hurt people not taking these precautions. &amp;nbsp;My friends don't wash their hands like I do, and nothing seems to happen to them. &amp;nbsp;My children's friends wouldn't was their hands before eating. &amp;nbsp;My son would tell them they couldn't eat until they did. &amp;nbsp;It is just a good clean habit. &amp;nbsp;I really wish I could be like most people and not worry.&lt;/p&gt;

Mexico citizens I am sure have amoeba's because it is in the water and it can be passed around. No Americans do not have amoeba's in their intestines hopefully. It has nothing to do with low immune systems in this instance. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I am quite surprised at how many disregard this article. it is a given we cannot keep ourselves from all germs but we can be aware. Where I live we disinfect shopping cart handles before entering a grocery store. if one were to come in here and read many of the posts here you would almost feel there isn't &amp;nbsp;a problem. Okay, why isn't there one? Because we have strict guidelines on handling food and we send in the health department to make sure they are followed or they are shut down. No they are not always followed. Just think what it would be like if we did not have the guidelines? The US is like 1.5% for these types of outbreaks, where in other countries it is 5% or higher. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;There are many harmful bacterias passed on by food handlers and in food themselves. Staphylococcal food poisoning, enterotoxins, HAV hepatitis A, cholerae, &amp;nbsp;coli, typhoid fever and Salmonella. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;And they can cause liver failure and even death. Dehydration &amp;nbsp;and some need hospitalization. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I don't consider these articles a alarmist attitude at all. I consider them, be aware, know what is out there and try to take precautions. You may not die but from what my friends have told me you might want to and the hospital bills are not pretty. &lt;/p&gt;
