I did the CSD one week a month (10 months) and a gall bladder cleanse every 2nd month, a week or so after the soup. Now 50 pounds lighter and I have kept it off for a couple years. I do the CSD every so often cuz I think it is super healthy veggy wise. I eat very little processed food so the sea salt in it is not a problem, especially if you drink a good amount of water(watercure formula). I have eliminated processed and refined(corrupted) foods and only allow myself carbs with starch or sugar 1 time a day, eaten with a meal all within an hour. This eliminated the cravings that weaken willpower, so no real desire to eat junk or snack. Also I think that if your intestinal flora are healthy the gas problem is much less noticable so a probiotic to get the gut in shape may be called for. It is not a reason to not try it.

For those who are not able to follow a gall bladder cleanse or a daily dose of lemons and olive oil this may be a good one to pass up. PS... I too love the mastercleanse, what a revelation! you won't die w/o food every day...

First off, “The Weight Loss Cure They Don't Want You to Know About” is a diet I just completed, and I can tell you that you DO NOT INGEST URINE!!!!

Hey, if you need to make a point, at least you should be honest about it.

I've tried a ton of diets for over 20 years with limited success. Most were hard and punishing to do and I would fail eventually. Others starved you, or were boring to do.

At least with “The Weight Loss Cure They Don't Want You to Know About”, I lost over 45 pounds in 4 months and it was virtually EFFORTLESS. And during the whole thing, I ever once had to ingest urine.

I've tried this 'healthy eating' approach advocated here, and while it may be easy for a lot of you, it was not easy for a meat and potatos guy like me. When I eat say brocoli, I throw up. Gag reflex baby. Some of us just can't eat what we know we should.

But “The Weight Loss Cure They Don't Want You to Know About” was easy to do and I still got to enjoy eating. I'm now at 196 pounds, which is 50 lbs lighter from my 246 just a few months ago. I'm 48 and had not been below 200 since I was in my 20's. So I don't think it should be on this 'silly diet' list.

That's my opinion and it is fact. (ingesting urine...oh brother).

I don't usually do this, but I just can't stand to read it one more time.

It's LOSE, folks. LOSE, LOSE LOSE.

LOSE = the opposite of GAIN.

LOOSE = the opposite of TIGHT.

Thank you for your attention. We now return you to your regular programming.

MERCOLA ARE YOU LISTENING??,

Looks like you "skimmed" through this article while including it.

This article is overflowing with misleading propaganda statements like "has been found to cause" less than ideal".

Many have pointed out the Benjiman Fiengold Diet which has not only been wrongly included but also the outrageous statement that "it's generally not wise to adopt this regimen. Critics warn against teaching children that food can dictate performance and behavior, and depriving them of appropriate professional help from doctors."

This statment goes againts everything mercola.com stands for. I am very disappointed with this article.

The BIGGEST IRONY. They even blast the Blood Type diet, which is very similiar to the nutritional typing diet of Dr. Mercola. When i say similiar Dr. mercola Nutrition typing is one step ahead and more accurate.

But still I am sure if this writer had known about Nutrition Typing She would have blasted it too. I think I should write to her and tell her to update the article to include her "view" on Nutritional typing.

I think that would be fun, then I am sure you will do something about this article. Infact I am off to doing that and I implore everyone else to go that website and request them to update that article to include NT too.

I am very dissappointed. I was just disheartened by which has started accepting "other" authors (apart from mike adams) and there is one David Guitirez(I may have got his last name spelling wrong). Who keeps submitting good articles but once in a while he puts in an article about coke which reeks of PR. He also keeps "advertising" health products which actually have something bad in them like color or something(not something dangerous like MSG). It is very sad to see the quality of such site drop.

We really trust and depend on sites like these to give us the "real news" The truth. :-((

re: Ridiculous -- and Ineffective -- Diets

I have to defend the Master Cleanser on this one. My friends and I have had nothing but great success with this cleanse. If you live a healthy lifestyle or make the transition to one than you will only gain muscle and healthy fat after you ease off this cleanse. I feel better than ever every time I do the Master cleanser and my friends say the same thing. The reason I think it gets attacked so much is because it works wonders! Of course if you switch back to cake and ice cream your going to gain weight in any situation no matter what! I greatly admire and respect Dr Mercola... however I maintain that he is not on point when it comes to the Master Cleanser. For the years I, my friends and family have used it, it has done nothing but created a positive environment for our health and conscious wealth.

"Life is not an eternal search for God; Life is an eternal expression of God."

Being open minded means you must take a good look at an idea before you condemn it. Try putting HCG diet into your search engine and do a little honest exploring before you reject this approach. Dr Simeon's manuscript "Pounds and Inches" is widely available on the internet and is must reading for anyone who seriously wants to lose weight. The HCG diet has been a miracle for me.

Come on. Tell that to the ppl I know who've lost 100+ pounds - and kept it off. Or me, now almost 30lbs lighter.

Like Julieanne said, "diet" just refers to what you eat. Atkins (and other low-carb plans) are meant to be lifestyle changes, not quick-fix diets. You find the level of carbs that works for you - and you stick with it. It's a WOE (Way of Eating), not a "diet" as most people use the term - something to go "on" and "off" of. It is a lifestyle change.

Diet just means what you eat - good or bad. The 'eating by your blood type' diet has nothing to do with losing weight,it is just a recommendation for general good health. Whether it works or not, I don't know, although, having read the whole book, it makes a lot of sense to me.And it is not just about whether to eat meat or not - it's a lot more complicated than that.
