Good Article, However, this cancer treatment sound just like the Ultrasound High Intense waves that targets and burns to death Prostate Cancer cells. Which sound to be a great treatment. This is done in Canada. Radiation uses gold implant target placed in the prostate. This is great if no other cancer cells have traveled to other parts of the body.

My sister has colon cancer and an outside pouch and can't eat raw veggies or fruit - only canned.

They also want her on white bread, rice, potatoes, and other bland soft (not-too-nutritious) foods.

She is starting on AHCC to help build up her immune system before she starts chemo in 2 weeks.

After 6 months of chemo she will have surgery to have her whole colon removed and have an interior J-pouch.

Does anyone have insights on 1. diet or other supplements for her (also she's on cumadin for blood clots)

or have 2. knowledge of what it's like to have a j-pouch.

Can anyone help guide my husband and I with our dogs treatment...he was just diagnosed this last friday and has several tumors, including one open one between his toes, with the lymph node on that side of his leg the size of a golfball. We typically feed him raw meat, which we ozonate and then zappicate, along with the Dr. Clark Protocal. We have also started giving him MMS ("the miracle mineral"), collodial silver, and using young living oils on him. But I just know there have to be other things. The gentleman below who gave those 4 websites was awesome...they all looked good. I just don't know how to apply it to our dog, especially because of the whole meat/alkaline thing. Please help. I have been in the health care industry (nursing) for many years now and 10 years ago my principle work began in the Cancer care area. I recommend Essiac to many clients suffering from cancer and certainly it has been to their benefit, not only does it build the immune system, remove toxins but it also heals the system, particularly keeping the body at the correct ph level, which I believe is one of the main keys to preventing caner. I have also studied the 'German New Medicine' principles, and from my experience most sufferers will have experienced a 'trigger' on am emotional level...dealing with this is of extreme importance.

I have a strong belief in the fact that deep, clinical hypnosis has a big part to play in fighting cancer, particularly breast cancer in the future. I have noticed that a lot of people with cancer do have deep emotional issues that need to be addressed, and more often than not are not even aware of them. I think that deep hypnosis (not hypnotherapy) is needed to restore people's belief in themselves and to try to bring about the restoration of healthy cells. I have never had the faith in chemotherapy, et al, that the medical profession would like us to have. I am, however, in favour of all Dr. Mercola's suggestions for keeping cancer at bay, coupled with deep hypnosis if it rears it's ugly head. I have been amazed at how many women, for instance, who have been dumped by their partners, have gone on to develop breast cancer, presumably because they feel that if they have been left, then they must not have anything to offer anymore.

But you all must be wondering why this and other metabolic diseases are running rampant through our society now, increasing with each decade. This, I am sure, is due to the increasingly Yang or acid diet of the West, together with all the pesticides and poisons we have been subjected to over the last 50 years. I beg you all to do yourselves a favour and seek out regular attendance of infrared saunas which can rid us of these poisons in our bodies. These poisons are present in new babies and are also passed through the mother's milk. Is it still a surprise to the medical profession that the biggest group of sufferers of Parkinson's Disease (in the UK anyway) are farmers? Are the governments still trying to pretend that the clusters of cancer and leukemia in those people living near huge telephone masts are just coincidences? Here in the UK, these facts are denied, but I would bet that nobody in the telephone industries or the government lives anywhere near one of these monstrosities.

If Big Pharma can't patent it, it won't ever see the light of day. They in conjunction with their partners in crime, the FDA, work to suppress all natural substances which could be helpful against diseases. Has ANYONE EVER heard of the FDA endorsing ANY naturally occuring substance for the treatment or prevention of ANY disease? I am so glad that I chose the non cut, burn and radiate method when I was diagnosed with cancer 37 months ago. As one doctor put it, "I don't condone your methods and I cannot explain your results". The answers and cures are out there but they won't come from a Rx bottle. The United States comprises 5% of the world's population and consumes 50% of the prescription medicine taken while ranking #40 in world health according to the World Health Organization-not too impressive!

i am slowly being won over to some raw in my diet, which is about 20% raw now, and 50% whole grains,veggies, and some fish 2-3 times per week. (have prostate cancer) As the weather gets nicer in nyc we have a farmers mkt. that comes to town with plenty of goodies, which is when i will make some changes. I am a whole grain believer so i will in corporate it on the other end. i've eaten very little fruit, was afraid as the mantra is "sugar feeds cancer" I am "very" confused on this subject where there seems to be much contreversy. All opinions welcome :o) Barb, ant raw food info would be helpful.

In herbs there are several compounds other than the Pharmacologically active components that are beneficial in counter acting the side effects of the actives so finally a balance exists within.unlike pure allopathic drugs.FDA thinks of only actives and doesnt think of other components. So allopathic Medicines have contraindications and safety criteria.Every pure substance have side effects and doesnt contain any antioxidants.
