It shows that not just breathing the chemicals but also absorbing them when they are in contact with your own body oils is a large factor. I Live in Chemical Alley in East Contra Costa County of California. We have power plants and refineries and chemical companies all in one small space here. They do not even monitor here even though back in 1998 - 2000 Calpine Promised the local people a pollution monitoring station at 10th Street and Harbor in PIttsburg, CA. They set up a temporary one and we have not as of yet got our hands on the data readouts of that monitoring stations. Because of the readout they decided not to put up the promised permanent monitoring station there.

You should hear the lies these people state under oath. One Mechanical Eng. for Calpine said the New Natural Gas Power Plants exhaust was cleaner then the ambient air and that you could put your head in the exhaust stacks and breath the air safely. I asked him to do it for 8 hours and lets see how safe it is? At any rate I know that Natural Gas releases literally tons of tiny toxic particles that are so small your cells will not even recognize when they are hit by these toxins. You will not have a immune response until it is too late and you have a completely abnormal cell. Research showed that it took as little as 4 hits to create cancerous cells or cells that produce other autoimmune response because these damages are reproducible when a cell splits. So those 4 hits may be 1 or 2 from the original cell that splits and then those defective cells get 3 or 2 more hits and they have the 4 hits needed to make your immune response think it is being invaded by foreign cells. This creates anti-bodies that absorb foreign cells so much like our original cells that it starts absorbing our original good cells. These Particle from these power plants are less than 1 micron in size, which is not Safe and is a Lie.

There are times when I just rinse my hair but I just love the smells of some of my conditioners. Maybe I'll cut back on the conditioners more and just "wash" once a week for that wonderful smell! Of course though, living on a farm smell isn't really a matter! LOL. I may think of trying this "rinse" method for a while, see what happens. And the article at the top and dr. M's comment was totally confusing to me. I couldn't tell if they were telling me that unwashed hair was good or bad.

The grease was not removed. Maybe people with wavey hair can use water only, as I remember when I had permed hair, my sebum seemed to disappear, supposedly because it couldn't travel down the hair shaft the way it does now that it's straight again.
