The employees are very brave. I admire them greatly. The FDA is a whore, for sale to any large company who pays them. Remember this is the agency who freely advertised and pushed the use of dioxen in personal hygiene products years ago when doctors and patients started to question the use and dangers of it. Nothing has changed.

When I visited my brother in Pennsylvania, USA, about three years ago, we often bought unpasteurised cheese at a nearby family farm. The farmer had listed the many types of cheeses he made on a whiteboard, with the following warning underneath: "Not for human consumption!".This warning apparently circumvented the illegality of selling raw milk produts, as it conferred the presumed risk of consuming unpasteurised dairy products to the customers.

Quite sad and quite funny really. Injecting babies with neurotoxic vaccines is good, eating raw milk products is bad! What a twisted soceiety we live in!

Sorry, my feelings as regards the FDA and their raw milk policies run so high, I cannot comment for fear of being banned forever from V.V. pages. Their gestapo tactics really put me into an ice cold rage.

Mad Cow Proteins Detected in Dairy Products

Prion protein in milk by Nicola Franscini published in the December 2006 issue of PLoS ONE (Public Library of Science) found prion proteins in Swiss off-the-shelf milk and fresh milk.1 Prions are the cause of transmissible spongiform encephalopathies (TSE), such as bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) in cattle and humans, and Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD) in humans. About the same concentration of prion protein was measured for organic farm milk and non-organic farm milk as well as for pasteurized (heating for 30 seconds to 72°C) and ultra-high temperature (UHT) treated (heating for 1–4 seconds to 135°C) milk.1 Prions were also found in the milk of humans, sheep, and goats.

Comment:

Prion protein is the agent that causes mad cow disease in cattle, people, deer, sheep, and many other animals. These infectious proteins accumulate for years before illness appears. Transmission from food to people is of great concern. Prior to the use of the latest technology, this infectious agent was hard to detect in milk. However, that changed with the use by these investigators of new methods employing the Alicon PrioTrap®. This technology is so effective that prion proteins can even be found in human milk.

A similar story can be told about bovine leukemia viruses found in cow’s milk. This virus was discovered in cattle in 1969, but studies using older technology (agar gel immunodiffusion and complement fixation assays) failed to find antibodies to bovine leukemia viruses in people. As a result, the prevailing opinion was exposure of humans to bovine leukemia viruses by eating beef and drinking cow’s milk was not important; therefore, the presence of this virus in our food supply was not a public health hazard.2 However, in 2003 rese

Talk about rediculous illegalities, I live in Europe, and heard that (I believe according to European law) it is illegal to sell un-iodized salt. I was looking for some for a colon cleanse, and could not seem to find any, when I found this out. Yet, cigarettes and alcohol are legal. Hello? On the raw milk subject, a few times I got milk from a village lady who was selling it, and I think it was straight from the cow. Was it ever delicious!

I found a sorce of raw milk in my area and to make it legal, I purchased from the farmer, the hair on the tail of his cow named Daisy for one dollar. I can get all the milk I want .......

Just recently I tried to drink store bought milk and it made me gag!

The article mentioned that the raw milk was needed for the endangered animals because the homogenized/pasteurized milk made them sick......... do you think that is just a co-ink-ee-dink?

Thats easy.

Anytime you TRY to have an intelligent conversation with most people at a gathering, they almost always turn it into a bunch of drivel about "professional" sports or car racing and all manner of inane garbage.

In short, no one seems to want to use a brain.

When people choose not to use their brains, the gov't gets by with whatever they want.

Whoa. A lot of posts here already... I think that if you want to somehow make it in today's world, where there are soooooo many factors to destroy health, the only alternative is to live somewhere in the country! Like, I mean, REALLY in the country. There you have access to fresh air, natural food, there is hardly any pollution, cell etc phone radiation and one can probably get raw milk (too) easily. On the other hand, living in any kind of big city is a disaster. Yes, you can order various foods by mail/delivery services but there is a limit and there are so many other damaging factors.

No raw milk around my area (live in Tokyo) and I guess I could order some from Hokkaido or wherever but it is troublesome and I can't store or freeze large amounts of raw milk at my place. I buy this milk that has been sterilized at 66 C for 30 min and it tastes so much better than ordinary milk.

I’ve had my first taste of raw milk yesterday!!! After years of searching I’ve finally found a little organic shop that’s also close to where I work. I went there during my lunch break, they had about 10 bottles in the fridge, I went to the nearby supermarket to get a chillier bag and by the time I re-entered the shop after about 10 minutes there’s only about 3 bottles left. People are so right, raw milk taste so much better! I am never going back to the standard milk that tastes like plastic anymore.

So what is it that makes it possible for this to go on? And this is only one tiny part of the "war" against our health and well being as a people.

When we follow the money what do we find?

Are these but a gaggle of individuals lost in the usual human weaknesses? Or is this a new breed of creature?

Could it be that large corporations have within their make-up this capacity to turn and feed upon the very humans who thought them up?

What within their constitutions makes that possible?

Two answers come to mind.

First, they are immortal. They have no end. We do, and we learn because we must. At every step in life, we learn with survival as the final arbiter of our fate. We grow. We change. Eventually, the ability to do that splutters out and we have breathed our last. But corportations have no natural end. They have no need to change and grow as we do. They only need to make money - nothing more. Of any of the people the world would have missed, I would guess not one did nothing but make money.

Second, these creatures get treated as humans before the law. They have our rights, and some day if we do not slay these dragons, greedy horders that they are, they will slay us.

Here indeed there be dragons. We sit near their mountain strongholds awaiting the ourselves with souls brave enough to pluck out their talons and drown their fire breath.

Perhaps the reading of Old English literature may yet have some purpose left for us. Wyrd.

I have the most horrible digestive issues that have left two gastroenterologists, my primary care physician, and my endocrinologist scratching their head. I have started taking good probiotics, drinking Organic Pastures Raw Colustrum (I swore I would never drink raw milk anything) and taking L-Glutamine and my symptoms improved. True they are not entirely cured but they improved greatly. I went off the probiotics out of laziness and had to skip a week of raw colustrum as sometimes Whole Foods in our area is out of the Organic Pastures products. My symptoms got really bad these past two weeks. I am back on the Colustrum, probiotics and L-Glutamine. I cannot even adequately describe how I suffer with the bloating, gas (how embarrassing), the burping, constipation, etc, etc. I can have the loosest fitting pants in the morning when I leave for work and in the middle of the day they are strangling my stomach. I barely eat at work as I just feel full. Sooooo.....if the FDA takes away my raw colustrum, I fear I will go mad!!! How dare they treat the producers of raw milk as if they are criminals when they allow the tobacco companies to commit murder every day. Both products are consumed as part of our own free will. The difference is that tobacco kills the user and the innocent and unwilling around them. Seems to me the priorities are political and purely profit driven. I want my rights and I want my raw milk products! Thank you Organic Pastures for hanging in and fighting.

We joined efforts with a local dairy farm and bought cow shares last Fall. We pay $3.06 a half gallon. It's still cheaper than organic at the grocery store, and it's NOT homogenized or pasteurized. Raw milk is the most delicious food! Creamy, tasty, delicious. And yet we have to run around being careful what we say or do for fear that the gestapo will take away our right to one of the Lord's perfect foods.

The FDA, the CDC, and Big Pharma are totally crooked. Like many posts mentioned above... "follow the money, honey!" They do not have your best interest at heart. Check out this website... good article.

I can believe what the FDA is doing....they are in bed with the pharmaceutical companies. Natural products don't have the profit margin that synthetic ones do. It's simple economics and greed.
