Thanks for the article. Even if they can activate your phone, they're not going to unless you are involved in something illegal. I think this is great that they can because if there is an emergency, where maybe one of your children need to get a hold of you, than they still could, even if you have your cell phone off.

He was 42 and left behind a loving wife and three children. It was so sudden that it really shocked everyone who knew them.

I guess the point is it's better to be safe than sorry. If we have to wait for an undisputed clinical trial to prove whether something is safe or not, 1) we may unknowingly be setting ourselves or our loved ones up for tragedy, and 2) can we rely on clinical trials to be unbiased? You have to weigh whether it's worth the risk. I personally believe there's enough antedotal evidence to question the safety of cellphone use as well as numerous studies on radiation.

I've been letting the 'evidence' slide and have put off for too long buying earphones that can offer some protection. I think I've put it off long enough.

The telco PR machine, all around the world, is swift to react. What disappoints me most is that there seems to be no journalist anywhere that will drill down when asking for a telco spokesman's opinion. For example telcos often tell us that they follow advice from WHO and that WHO has found no health concerns with mobile technology. Why not then ask the spokesman if he is concerned that a large part of the WHO's EMF Project funding comes from the telco industry? Well done Mercola for hilighting the article & shame on mainstream media who refuse to show a duty of care to their customers.

In other words, can exposure to smaller amounts of radiation be acceptable in safety where nothing bad will ever happen regardless of exposure while the headset is plugged in and you have it as far away from your body as the chord will go? Not to mention, it does make talking on cell phones safer, but the clip that goes around your ear needs better technological improvement. Even if it arrives tight around the joint clamp, after a certain amount of use, it loosens up and doesn't stay on your ear very well. Dr. Mercola, not to be a wise guy, but can you do something about improving the design where it won't loosen up after a certain amount of use?

I have made 2 websites for non profit use only. My first site is www.fitnesssavedmylife.com *I Promised myself that if I live after the Brain Tumor operation I would dedicate a web page to my experience. I had an idea that the cell phones caused my Brain Tumor. It was only by recent Internet research that I have discovered that cell phones caused my Brain Tumor, so i decided to make a second site http://www.stop-radiation.com/ *All I want to do is save life. I believe strongly that the best gift is life itself. Hopefully through my disability from cell phones and the information that I know now, that had been previously discredited, denied, hidden from us all, that hopefully my suffering can make a change to people to take this very seriously. Just before I tried to finish off my Personal site I suffered a severe stroke weening off the medication. Now I am in a worse condition than the previous 2 strokes and the 3 days in a coma and all the seizures. If any one reads this comment please understand that it is better to give than take. Please people do not make the same mistakes that I have made I am disabled from a Brain Tumor from cell phone use. I pass this message to you all. It is my experience, my ongoing pain. I hope that people take this message seriously. When your health has been taken from you because of greedy multi-nationals what do you do? What I do is tell as many people as I can in the hope to educate, so that people are not living in pain, disabled like me. In 8 months I have had 3 strokes, 3 days in a coma, plus seizures. I think that this is a bit much just because of cell phone use. Please sign the "Protect Your Health From Electromagnetic Radiation" Petition - which recommends that we adopt safety levels for EMR based on recommendations by the BioInitiative. Read more at there website:

www.ipetitions.com/.../index.htm Thanks.

It is a very interesting and thought provoking forum, and the mix of opinions and concerns is downright astounding!

By now people have heard about Dr. med. Ryke Geerd Hamer of Germany and his research and re-discovery of how diseases are created and also how they can be healed!

He postulates, that what is commonly referred to as a 'brain tumor' is not a tumor per se, because brain cells do not 'multiply' after birth. What is called a 'brain tumor' is in reality an edema along with an accumulation of glia cells, which the body uses to repair damaged brain connective tissue.

This process is required in the healing phase of a disease caused by a conflict shock-which 'overloads' the area of the brain appropriate to the nature of the shock- if there is conflict resolution.

For instance: if a person is being told on the occasion of a 'medical check-up', that "something has been found", which looks like cancer, the person may experience a 'death fright'. Dying is interpreted by Nature as 'not being able to breathe'. A Significant Biological Special program is then initiated by the psyche in the form of a DHS, which causes Hamersche Herd (HH) lesion to appear in the 'old brain'. This is connected to the lung and a tumor starts to grow to augment the existing lung tissue for the purpose of helping that person survive the perceived crisis. Along with the tumor growth, inactive TB bacteria, if the person is fortunate enough to have them, grow in number at the same time and rate. If there is conflict resolution, the psyche causes the tumor to stop growing and an edema forms in the brain to heal the HH. Glia cells are gathered at the site and the lesion is being healed. At that time, the TB bacteria become active and they help to clear the now redundant tumor; the person now has lung TBC, but this is a healing process, which only requires abundant protein in the diet, to keep the body strong, functioning. The tumor will be completely removed, the lung healed!
