Smoking isn't the only thing that causes cancer. Many products made from fossil fuels, the wastes created from the drilling or mining of fossil fuels, uranium and plutonium (nuclear power) also causes cancer. But, not everything causes cancer. Of the 80,000 different chemicals used by manufacturers every year, less than 1 (one) percent have ever been tested for their ability to cause cancer. Have smoked more that forty-two years. Top of the line potency, no 'lights'. 'Tailor-made, no 'rollies'. Saw something on the web about health benefits of nicotine, however, have not, yet, persued the link. Suffer severe tinnitus. Beer and 'smokes' are most often the only 'company' I have. 'C'est la vie'! I did not deal the cards. Take care.

Tobacco is not the problem, it's factory cigarettes that kill people. How many people die of cigars or pipes or snuff? George burns smoked 14 cigars a day and lived to 100 yrs. a personal friend rolled his own and lived to 96. Imagine the temptation of the manufacturer to sell you something that's all rolled up and all you're going to do is burn it! They'd have to be a saint....and they're not. Whoa!

I'm not surprised. After I got sick from my breast implants, I did a little research. From what I could find out over half of breast implant studies, those done by the FDA in particular, are funded by the implant manufacturers themselves. Unbelievable huh?

I quit smoking 2+yrs ago, cold turkey, it took me 5 years to work up to it.I wanted to quit all that time, but never could .It is not just tobacco in those cancer sticks that makes them so addictive, but what grossed me into quitting was UREA. See link to lit below.

I smoked for many years, having started at 17, when I knew nothing of the harmful effects (this was in the 50's). I have never had a fear of lung cancer, but I did eventually develop bronchiecstasis, and mild emphysema.

Cigarettes are extremely addictive, more so than heroin and many other drugs. I did kick the habit, but now live with the consequences.

Cancer is not the only thing to fear.

Smoking is not a direct cause of lung cancer or any other cancer. All smoking does is supply your body with many, many molecules that are missing many, many electrons, and many molecules that damage the immune system like many, many other things such as, breathing.

The reason some certain organizations are so free with tax payers money is because the tax payer allows them to do so.

Yes we could ban everything unhealthy if we could find enough qualified brain surgeons to cure the bi-cameral mind?

Yes we could live happlily ever after if we could cure the bi-cameral government.

We could throw out the words of oppression and take action on living in freedom instead.

Some studies are useless. I find in many articles are filled with I.I.B.S. syndrome but never any cures. We could throw out I.I.B.S. syndrome and take our health and all other issues in our own hands.

The next time we vote we could cast a vote for ourselves instead of casting a vote for someone who is running for public office!

'A' sells an addictive product that causes cancer and takes some of the profit to fund a study so B will detect the cancer. B detects the cancer and writes a script for C.

Now A is making $s, B is making $s and C is making $s. If we avoid cancer, who makes money?????????
