&lt;p&gt;I quit smoking 2+yrs ago, cold turkey, it took me 5 years to work up to it.I wanted to quit all that time, but never could .It is not &amp;nbsp;just tobacco in those cancer sticks that makes them so addictive, &amp;nbsp;but what grossed me into quitting was UREA. I have never had a fear of lung cancer, but I did eventually develop bronchiecstasis, and mild emphysema. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Cigarettes are extremely addictive, more so than heroin and many other drugs. I did kick the habit, but now live with the consequences.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Cancer is not the only thing to fear.&lt;/p&gt;
