Hey, ladies and gents, it's a free country. If you want to wear high heels and push-up bras and tight and scanty clothing, do it. I dress in the way in which I am most comfortable, so should you. I will remain braless and barefooted.

Way back when..when buttons were first invented, only the wealthy could afford to buy them. Most of the wealthy women had maids who dressed them (clothes were complicated). Most of the men dressed themselves. Since most people are right-handed, it made sense to make the men's clothes button from the right, so they could fasten their own buttons more easily. And it made sense to make the women's clothes button from the left, because they would be from the right for the maid who would be facing the woman.

High heels may have been invented to control women and "make their bodies look more attractive", but that's not what they are now. If the Industry has brainwashed me into buying them I would like to thank the industry because my shoes are fabulous. As for bras: You get your first bra because the little *** boobs are starting to get in the way, your nipples might be sticking out, and once they get past little bumps, you need some support. I love to get out of my bra at the end of the day, but during the day I need support and I need them to be held in place. If women listen to some of the comments made that said, "Women should go natural. They shouldn't wear heels or bras or anything else orchestrated by the industry," then who is doing the controlling?

As for shoes, did you know the reason they fall apart/wear out fast is because that way people have to keep buying new ones - and this keeps the shoe companies going. Really, i've heard that from a well-known shoe maufacturer in another country.

I'm guessing "Wonderer" is male and therefore has never had the painful experience of running braless... especially for women with larger breasts. Just because it's a human invention and people wear it doesn't mean it's stupid and/or serves no real purpose.

And while I do enjoy to mock the impracticality of high heels, it is a personal choice to wear them or not, and I'm not going to tell people what they should/should not wear.

Obviously, there are some heels that are ridiculously high, but a 2 inch heel looks classy and femminine, and is perfectly comfortable. Personally, I have better posture, and I walk lighter when I wear heeled shoes. I don't understand why women are so afraid of being femminine. There are far too many people wearing their "comfortable," sloppy sweats and tennis shoes around town every day. Look like a lady, ladies! You may not have to ALWAYS wear heels to do it, but wearing them certainly doesn't make you a pathetic female who's obsessed with fashion and getting attention.

While some of them also wore padding so that their rear ends appeared bigger, I doubt that it had anything to do with their bosoms. It is just a matter of style which is nothing but current fads. Lets bring back high heels for men and exposed rouged nipples for women.

We are equal and she has her own mind. A lot of the things everyone has spoken about here is true to a larger extent; women talking about high heels and its comfort levels, and men...well, just going on about nothing.

First until I become a woman, I'd never understand them so I dont argue with my wife though she strives to look great and sexy for me and for herself. There are times she'd wear 3 inch high heels and there are other times she's wear platforms, or flats or whatever she feels like wearing at that time. And whatever it is that she puts together, she looks HOT!!! When she asks my opinion, I give it...but 110% of the time, I dont think she needs my opinion because she looks so good regardless.

But same goes for me - I do the things I do to look good and when heads turn or women flirt, I feel like I still have some "mojo". Ultimately I do it for my wife and basically to feel good...however I am lucky because there is nothing I wear as a man that makes me feel "uncomfortable" as women do with some of the skimpy stuff some men rather see the in....and that's where our society is today. Thank goodness I have boy to bring up [and bring them up well] - and Kudos to all who have girls and are doing a good job bringing them up.

To another point - guys you might like this: I heard that high heels is actually good for women. It helps strengthen all the vital areas needed for great sex. Her "private" muscles get stronger which means more control and many climaxes. Has anyone heard this also?

Unfortunately, living in Virginia, where the weather is mild, I spend about 7 months of the year in shorts, and cowboy boots just don't look right with shorts!
