More dairies are selling raw milk, and finding themselves at odds with public health officials because of it. I just recently started drinking raw milk but realized i just dont like the taste of milk that much not even the raw stuff so i did some experimenting.. i put cinnamon in it... delicious... i got some raw honey and put a bit of that in it delicious.. some vanilla..delicious .... it seems that i just need a hint of some other flavor and i think its wonderful but i dont know what my deal is with drinking plain milk ..i just cant seem to enjoy it alone... also ive been using the milk to make stuff... and i made mashed tatoes and they were the best that i have ever had... i was really surprised at the difference in not only flavor but texture and everything... i dont think i can go back... its to bad its illegal here... i cant just go to the store and get it. its a shame the amounts of effort one neeeds to apply just to find good quality nutritious foods but its worth it i just wasnt gonna go out not knowing what real milk looks and tastes like the idea of it was bothering me and it still does bc its tru to some .. money talks and im talking to those people with there degraded milk by not buying it...

Also, I didn't watch all of the videos listed above, but there is one that I found very interesting. To me, it's more than just a pasteurization/homeginization issue. If you watch the video below, you will see that the "powers that be" are putting extremely harmful things into the milk you buy in the store and the media is being forced to ignore it. Not only is "store milk" lacking in good nutrition, but it is very bad for you. I won't let my children touch it! If we had no other source of milk I still wouldn't let them drink it.

I'm curious to hear what you all think of this movie.

Milk in supermarkets is deadly to your life

If you rely on the FDA or USDA to protect your food, you could be dead wrong.

Fox News reporters tell how they were pressured by management to lie about their discovery that milk is loaded with cancer-causing drugs given to cows.

There parents did the same and none of them ever got sick from raw milk. What truley boggles my mind is the nieve people we have in North America. They would belive the FDA when they say raw milk can get you very sick so that's why it's illegal to buy, but hey if you want or smoke or chew tobacco the govermant openly allows the sale of tobacco products, when they know how detremental tobacco use is to our health. It's all about the mighty dollar and the coroprate world. Thank you for this website as I read and read here and then share my knowledge with people less informed. It's time we become informed and make changes. We are the consumers and if we all want healthier alternatives and direct our dollar's in that direction the corprate world will have no choice but to follow our lead. .

In fact, my Dad said he was going to have to buy a cow just for me. After I married we found a farmer who sold us raw milk. It was, and is, so delicious and healthy. However, here in Virginia I have not been able to find any. I have to drink the stuff from the grocery stores. It doesn't make me sick or anything like that, but I really need to find good raw milk somewhere close to where I live. So anyone who says that raw milk is not good for you, or that humans should not drink milk after the age of 5 has rocks in his head.

Not to worry. You can gently heat the milk to 100-110 degressF (I personally try to keep it as close to 100 as possible). This low temp. will not hurt all the goodies in the raw milk but it will take a few hours longer for the yoghurt to set up. After it has been in the frig, you'll never know you haven't scalded the life out of it. As long as you do not heat the milk above the temp. in the udder, everything will be fine. The proteins won't denature and the vits and other good things will be just fine. Practice a bit and enjoy.

They did not have cavities until we moved to the city. One of the boys when he was 8 months old . We took a trip to Seattle and he was fed whole milk. His ears started to bleed and would not rest and cranky. My Aunt who lives is Port Angeles Wa. Has some Goats and sold goats milk. She gave me a quart of milk for him while we were visiting her and with in an hour of feeding him the raw goats milk he became very happy . His ears stopped bleeding. We took some raw goats milk for the trip back home and he was very content. We had raw cows milk at home and he did very well on it. Then we could not buy the raw milk because of daries being bought out by big dairy farmers . Then we moved to the city of Spokane and the kids drank homarginized milk . Teeth started to decay, My son became a very picky eater, and has stomach troubles. It is hard to get the the raw milk . It is sometimes very expensive at the healthy food stores. The regular markets is a lot lower. I am sure the big dairy famers are glad to see the heath food stores prices. Because it helps people who live on minmal wages will buy from them as well as people are trying to save money. If we are concerned about our families then what do we do? They say if you care for your health you will buy what is healthy for you from the health food stores. I believe they cater to the rich. So where is the help or concern for people who cannot afford the prices. Health food store in Spokane : Huckelberries $6.25 1/2 gal. Grocery store in Spokane (high prices)$3.65 per gal. I don't believe this should be happening. So who is gouging who.

Even organic pasteurized milk is bad for your health. Technically you dont even need milk at all. Soymilk is another complicated food because it has protien inhibitors and can cause problems down the road. For the people who cant get raw milk, it's really weird because theres SO MUCH milk at the grocery.

There are better alternatives

, like Ricemilk, Oatmilk, and Nutmilk. All these taste SOOO much better than conventional milk

I read the raw goats milk is healthier and easier for the human body to digest and produces less allergies so I decided to stick with that share and let my cow share drop. I was also concerned about the high fat content possibly making deposits into my sons artries (men in his blood line have a history of heart attacks). My question is, is there anyway to make butter from goats milk? There is really no cream that accumulates at the top. I prefer the goats milk kefir over the cow milk kefir but now I can not make butter. :(
