It is trully amazing how brainwashed people are about modern medicine. Even people I would consider to be level-headed and successful in life will come up with every imaginable excuse why they can't use natural remedies and will die with the big pharma crowd rather than even try something alternative that might help them and give a better quality of life.

Yes, at one time the AMA told Doctors delivering babies, that if they washed their hands, that they would lose their license! It is sad the people go to medical school to help people (some for the money) and then all their training after basic chemistry,physics,biochemistry,gross anatomy , physiology.... comes the textbooks written and supplied by Big Pharma. This brainwashing cult is how it continues. People are sick, they NEED synthetic drugs. Doctors have to pay their mortgages and pay off their schooling and are NOT trained in nutrition at all. 50% of med. schools teach 1 basic nutrition class, the other 50% gets no training period. Sad how Vitamin D3 is the vitamin of the decade, reducing cancer by 60%, but doctors won't mention it, most of the time because they don't get paid to study nutrition, read journals on nutrition, but only paid to prescribe Drugs. Be nice if a Doctor would actually prescribe a blend of quality magnesium compounds to people with stress,depression, restless leg syndrome etc... Instead, lets cover it up with a drug so big pharma makes the big bucks and John Doe has to keep paying for synthetic drugs that are robbing his body of nutrients.

Addendum: Back in the late 1920s to early 30s, Dr. Rife was experimenting with & exploring the characteristics of a pleomorphic pathogen he dubbed "Bacillus X" (too humble to name it after himself), that when exposed to something (lectin, perhaps) in pork protein sheds its cytoplasm and becomes an oncogenic filtrable virus (remember Jack Ruby claiming 'they' were injecting him with cancer while in prison?) His experimental "Rife Ray", some sort of EM field of .78MH capable of deep body penetration with no ill effect would annihilate what was later (1970's, Dr. Livingston-Wheeler) named Progenitor cryptocides, causing/allowing malignant tumors to immediately begin to shrink & be resorbed. Operative word here was EXPERIMENTAL: At no time did Dr. Rife receive one cent for this work.

Maurice Fishbein asked to buy into Dr. Rife's work as a partner, Dr. Rife refused, then Fishbein destroyed Rife & his files & equipment using state & federal police powers & agencies via false claims etc. As the author of a book(s) about "What They Don't Want You To Know" about modern medicine etc. likes to describe, 'they' literally "came in with guns drawn" and raided Dr. Rife's offices etc. like it was a crackhouse or a top-echelon Mob 'sit-down'.

This EM field consistently eliminated even advanced metastasized malignancy with no ill effect whatsoever (Dr. Rife only irradiated in small doses out of concern that too much oncocellular debris might cause ill effect such as flu-like symtoms), after Dr. Rife, using hypermagnification microscopes illuminating specimens with polarized monochromatic light to cause otherwise-optically-invisible submicroscopic pathogens to fluoresce, identified & isolated the causative organism in all three phases (virus [pork culture medium], bacteria [standard culture medium], and fungus [asparagus culture medium]). No one has succeeded in replicating Dr. Rife's wantonly destroyed microscopes and other equipment, and all this great work lost forever.

This is the best advice and the most difficult lesson for many to learn when it comes to their health. Having to deal with HMOs, etc doesn't make it any easier. My mother was horrified when I compared a doctor to an auto mechanic, but I really don't see the difference. They're providing a service, I'm paying for it and living with the consequences.

MD's have their place, as do other practicitioners of medicine. I see a chiro for my migraines but do depend on my MD's prescription pad due to hypothyroidism and epilepsy. Both patiently answer all of my questions and spend enough time with me so I feel treated well. However, improvements in my health have all been initiated through me. Realizing that going to the doctor and expecting him/her to fix things doesn't work made all the difference.

I suggested my current medications to my doctor after speaking with fellow patients and reading everything I could get my hands on and worked with her on getting the doses correct. I took the initiative to make a chiropractic appointment after moving on to a third migraine med within 3 months. I have changed my diet numerous times over the years in response to body and health cues.

Those of you in good health without underlying medical issues can never go to the doctor and unilaterally refuse to use 'chemicals' or 'drugs' if you would like. Those of us without that good forturne have to find a way to work with the system. Paying attention to your body, doing as much research on your own as possible, asking thoughtful questions and insisting on answers have finally allowed me to discover what 'healthy' feels like.

America's Medical Industrial Complex and was constructed mainly by the AMA, much by 'medicalizing' every social and personal 'problem' that they could possibly get away with. And most are buying into it! This is disempowering the individual and society as a whole. It is an illusion within an illusion.

I can see people are going off here an Chiropractors. However, I think some people here are missing the point. Apparently, someone in the AMA considers all Americans to be incapable of establishing what mode of healing works best for them. We should have all options open and not just the options that make doctors and pharmaceutical companies more profitable.

This is why I have a standard medical doctor, so that I have access to prescription medications when I KNOW they are necessary. I also have a nutritionist (to learn food combining), naturopathic/homepathic (for natural remedies), chiropractor (to adjust what gravity and hard work is doing to my body), etc. I have to because not one doctor knows all aspects of health-enhancing practices or what remedies may work best for me. All are limited in terms of what they CAN implement into my health-plan, so that I don't HAVE TO use ONLY what the medical doctor says I should. It's getting rather complicated that doctors aren't learning everything and applying what works best for the patient.

Individuals that are practicing medicine are receiving fragmented education and that's not fair to the patient coming to them for "professional advise". "Doctor/Dr. is another term for teacher" and I don't see alot of teaching going on. I see alot of prescriptions being written by doctors that claim they know your body chemistry and genetic structure and tendancies within a 10 minutes appointment. It's sad.

Dr Fishbein's name has been read of before in a book titled "You 'Don't Have to Die". What a shame that one person could have such power that he awarded himself. My husband went to Taijuana, Mexico 20 years ago and was treated for melanoma cancer at the Bio Medical by Mildred Nelson with the Hoxsey treatment. The doctors here, in the US, told us if he had surgery and a skin graft and even IF they got it all that it would be back in 3 years and he probably would not be here in 5 years. Thanks to being told of Mildred taking this treatment to Mexico in the 60's we were able to travel there for treatment. My husband has never had surgery, chemo, radiation nor has he EVER been sick. We go back every year for check-ups and he has not had a recurrence since that time. How sad it is that everyone cannot know of the success of this treatment available at the Bio Medical Center today!

I would like to say again that most doctors don't realize they are being manipulated. I work with doctors and many are very interested and open to alternative therapies. As soon as a treatment works, then fake studies or strong warnings are put out about it by the powers that be so that doctors then believe that it is not safe. Most people don't read these scary books that many of y'all have mentioned.

John Mayer, I am happy to realize that you are wrong in your thoughs of chiropractors as well as homeopaths. A chiropractor was able to do to my arm what no doctor could. As far as homeopaths, although my physician told me that I will have a thyroid problem for the rest of my life and that there is no cure, four days after receiving a remedy from a homeopathic physician, much to my surprise, I am experiencing changes indicating that reversal is taking place.

Morris Fishbein was instrumental in ruining Royal Rife and his machine to cure cancer which was filmed and documented killing cancer. Fishbein wanted a financial interest and Royal Rife who had been supported by interested parties who supported his research could not sell any interests in his machine. Per usual he was impoverish from litigation of the AMA. The Rife story is well documented in a video showing this remarkable machine as well as results using this machine.

If you combine the AMA with the FDA you have a real two headed monster loose. Here is a huge tragedy dropped on the American public by this monster that few people know about. The 3M Company developed Tambocor an antiarrhythmic heart drug in 1989. A great deal of money and pressure was applied and this drug was pushed through quickly and released on the market. Within less than 2 years over 50,000 Americans were dead before the drug was pulled. That is equal to all the war dead in Vietnam. You would think that this would be enough to destroy or change this monster or at least get a legal handle on it. But the whole horrible mess was swept under the political rug. It was hushed up and the American public is unaware of that this ever happened. Read the book Deadly Medicine, by Thomas J. Moore, Simon & Schuster, pub 1995, a very interesting read.

We need to educate our neighbors.The more people on our side, the larger the bulwark against this monstrosity. Unfortunately, many people want to be ignorantly bliss and are a large reason for the success of the ama and the system surrounding it. It's a battle for the minds of the people and unfortunately the people are losing miserably. Even when we want to do the right thing it's very difficult in the world we live in. For the dolts who don't even care, it's impossible unless the system is completely overhauled.
