According to one expert on Coast to Coast AM, the bees are being blinded by the extra UV light coming through our swiss cheese ozone layer. This same expert said that if you looked at the earth through a view finder and traced the ozone's shape, it would look like swiss cheese. This explains some of the weird weather being experienced world-wide, as well as to why the bees just simply can't see the flower's UV parts. The bees starve to death trying to find the flower's parts.

The more I learn about how harmful our food supply is the more hope is lost. Hopefully documentaries and websites like this will help to awaken the rest of America before it's too late. The fact that Americans spend the most money on health and seem to have the most abundant supply of food, yet have the highest rates of cancer, diabetes, etc than any other culture is startling.

The problem isn't there isn't enough food; the problem is there are too many humans!

pmcgall64 replied:

Well having said that the problem is there are too many humans, are you and your family volunteering to be first in line to do something about making that less of a problem

Ha Ha pmcgall64.

My wife and I decided how many kids to have (2) because it is below the number of children necessary for non-increasing population (something like 2.27 kids per couple)

When God said "Go forth and mutiply" he didn't add "until there are so many of you that you can't feed yourself."; that's why He gave us birth control.

monkeybrother said:

... it seems that one of the obvious, though not likely solutions, is not just consuming less or more appropriately, but is in having less consumers. Too many people.

I agree with you monkeybrother!

Talk about a renewable resourse. Those things will eat goats, sheep, deer, anything that moves slower than they do.

I've noticed food shortages and fuel costs have always been affected during wartime. The U.S. is a very generous nation that supports many other countries and their peoples. Managing the issues that have arisen since the war has begun (many issues), would be a continually challenging position to be in. We shouldn't expect things to remain the same during wartime scenarios, but we somewhat do. We want to help, but we don't want to have to change the way we do things in order to give resources to another.

Growing a garden would be a marvelous idea, in order to self-sustain our families and communities. People in my area are filling their gorgeous, european-style landscaping with gardens of consumable food. They are opting to replace the water-sucking grass and flowers, with some water-absorbing, consumable vegetation. I think that's pretty brilliant and is a great way to "stick-it" to the man (if you know what I mean).

In Eastern Germany, where water is scarce and expensive (and has been for years), they collect rainwater for all yard maintenance. Of course, they don't have sprinkler systems. They grow gardens "on their land". I think many Americans may have forgotten how to use their land wisely.

As for the over-consumption of meat issue. It's a fact that most Americans over-consume meat. For us to deny that would be ignorant. However, I'm just as guilty, since I'm celiac sprue and pernicious anemic, my diet consists of meat and vegetables (and that's about it). I like my meat in package without a face. This would be a tricky one for me.

I God created these animals for our consumption and control.but the meat industry is a huge profitable sector ,The greed to feed them share holders never will slow down eccelerated growth systems inplace.Over consumption of food in western countries have reached its peak. Its time to adopt for the coming rapid changes that will bring us back to traditional ways to eating or deciding what to put on the table.the poorest countrys know how to surviive with little they have.those countries dont suffer the life style diseases we have in western society. I rekon we better learn to appreciate the so many food choices we have been used toall these yrs. Mother earth cannot go on by man robbing and destroying the environment for what? greed and money that doesnt even exist in reality! Oh the rockefellers and rest of the gang have had their hands in evrything for centuries, systematicaly trying to also reduce the population thru food supply or adding pioson to our water. As long as people are very materialistic layed back and rely so much on the system, supply food chain systems, We deserve whats coming for us.We have allowed all this to happen!Keep sleeping

Rice and other whole grains are fine for your health (imo) There are arguments on both sides of the ledger. I can only back up what worked for me. At 60 i decuded to eat very little animal protein and eat mostly whole grains, legumes, veggies, salads and sone fruits. My overall bloodtest #'s in 1 year from eh to phenominal.

Lost 40lbs. without even trying, eating as much as i wanted. Never get a cold and never tired. I start my day (usually3xper week) with fruit (mainly berries and fresk ground flaxseeds) (yes, no fish oils and my #'s are great so don't buy into Mercola's baloney) I eat fruit alone, don't know if that works (not mixing it with other foods so it doesn't stay in the stomach) but that's what i do. Then the other meals always have a whole grain in it. Whole grains are fine, as proven by many studies. Hey, animal protein may also be fine, but i can only say what i've seen personally.

Meditation is the answer. No technique required. Just step out of the stream of unconsciousness that's being fed to the masses. I fear that is the high calorie no nutrient content that the massive masses are bloated on.

as to reducing meat, well animals are not! meant to eat as much grain as people seem to think, their digestive system is designed to eat pasture grasses, strangely, they grow on land that is not good for grain crops.a bit of a no brainer? outta space!

We have started a garden this year. It is hard work (as GW would say) but the exercise is of great benefit. And, hopefully, the rewards. What I would really like to know now is how to preserve the produce. The freezer does not seem like a good alternative because it takes fuel to keep it running.

Canning? How do you make sure that your efforts in this direction are good enough to prevent contamination? Where do you find a canner? How big does it have to be? Which veggies are canable?

What about the preservation of meats? Or the storage of root vegetables?

I personally don't really know my metabolic type and would be a vegetarian due to my own karmic reasons anyhow, so eat beans and rice and hemp protein and whey better proteins smoothies for an abundance of protein. Too much land is used for commercial cattle raising and horrible condititions for the cows. Of course this is not really a concern for most people , since animals apart from dogs and cats are not considered really living beings, but only the mechanical slaves of humans. Flick Rahke

And what is up with ethanol? The rumor is that our corn went to ethanol and that there is a shortage of corn...I don't know one person with an ethanol burning hybrid. NOT ONE. I saw one once, but no one I know has one. There are only a handful of stations that even sell ethanol. So where did all of this corn go?
