Glass baby bottles get dangerous when you have a toddler running around who wants to carry the baby bottle with him/her. Glass is also not a good option for camping or other travel.

I use glass quite a bit at home, but for travel & safety, stainless steel is the way to go.

I recently got a Lasko ceramic heater because I heard that ceramic are some of the most efficient heaters. this toxic plastic smell spews on and puts my body on high alert. I don't know what this stuff is, but it is nasty. Last year I got an Econo-Heat panel. When I took it out of the box I nearly puked. It was even worse when I turned it on. I called customer service and this lady started screaming at me and telling me I was wrong. She obviously shouldn't be there. What are we doing to ourselves in the name of economics?

Anybody else think about this?

We started this becaues of enviormental issues. When we began hearing about BPA, we began using glass for other food storage too. However, just yesterday I was slathering myself with some lotion, and a big red flag went up. What about lotions and other cosmetics that come in plastic bottles?!! Our skin absorbs more chemicals than our stomach does.
