I spent a week in the hospital and doctors told me nothing and I was 5,000 dollars less richer. Every since then I have read and listen to Natural Health Medicine. Now I eat what I want when i want. As long as its natural. Cant eat out as much. I still can eat 2 whole chickens in a setting but hey they had no MSG on them. I am losing weight and never counted a freaken calorie. I eat my veggies from Organic farmers as much as possible and I didnt know beets where sweet. Even bussel sprouts are good. I used to exercise 5 days a week and watch my protien. Yeah I was strong but I was fat and had no lasting energy. I am getting better with that. I still got my muscle but my pot belly is getting small with all the cleanses I done such Colon, Heavy Metal, Candida, Liver, and I take probotics, digestive enymes, vingar, Coconut Oil, Psyillum Husks on a regular basis with alot of Super foods such Chorrela, Spulina, Bee Pollen, and Kelp. Lets me tell you folks I am feeling good. I also try to buy foods from other countries such as France. They dont have to be Organic to not have MSG and High Fructose Corn Syrup and Trans Fats are in which i treat like Poisons from Satan himself. I say no to DrugS. Like Nancy Regan said. Dont matter its a Pharma Doctor or a local Street Thug. Drugs are Drugs. Remember what Jesus said the love of money is the rule of all evil, and turn the other cheek, he didnt say anything about shutting up, but let the attacker be on the side of Satan and destruction. The truth will be shown. The powerful and rich will meet thier judgement and the meek shall inherit the earth. Truth stands as light in darkness. I dont wear black like Johnny Cash did in the Man in Black. My heart is with the fat, sick, dehydrated people of the USA. I pray that Greed will not cause our once Great Nation to fall to its own Evil. Rome fell the same way. God was there and GOD is watching us now. GOD save us.

It's agreed upon that genetics plays about a 15-20% role in the obesity epidemic. That leaves 80% accountability. The government and the media need fat people to fuel industry. Expect no help from them. It's up to you and you only. If you are over weight you must make losing weight the number one priority in your life. Before your job, before your children and your spouse. I'll restate the obvious. Those who continue to put on pounds and languish in their levels of activity will soon be without those things most precious to them. Brutal? Good. Diet and exercise in my case just wear me down more. Before gaining weight I used to work out 4 hours a day and go out and stay active all the time. It has nothing to do with food and laziness why I am the way I am. People like Tracy are the reason the world has so much hatred and many will never become educated on the issue. Continue your hatred and dislike for others because you have the same insecurities that you put down in others. When you learn to love yourself then hopefully you will learn to love others.

Many have very active lifestyles and go out everyday and work harder than some skinny people. Many go out and play and do activities that most regular "skinny" people can't do.

Many are overweight due to health problems causing the obesity such as myself. I'm not obese because I'm fat and lazy. I grew up thin until I got into my 20's. My health problems caused my obesity not the other way around.

Obese people are not all lazy. There are the few who are that way because they eat a lot and happen to be lazy and the majority of obese people have health problems and no, not health problems that cause obesity, health problems that cause obesity. I grew up and was never overweight. At 21 I started gaining weight and all my life I've had menstrual problems. I started gaining weight because of my hormonal problems. I don't lose weight with diet and exercise like someone who might be lazy would. But I happen to be lazy now because I have MS in combination with the hormonal problems of having PCOS. If you don't know what that is it stands for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. I have to deal with morons like half the people in this forum commenting on obese people like they know their lives just by looking at them, every day. Let's top all that off with the fact that I don't have insurance anymore because George Bush is now the president. So I can't get treated so I can lose the weight and health problems so the uneducated people in this forum don't have to look at me out in public like this. I didn't ask for it. I don't want it, but I have to live with it because no doctor will treat me without insurance, and no unfortunately I don't qualify for Medicaid because I don't have a kid and I don't have a disability. So good luck to all you have to look at obese people everyday, you act like we no longer have feelings anymore just because we're fat and we no longer can think so you have to do it for us. When you can come up with solution to all the worlds problems maybe you can think for the fat people of the world and continue to put them down like you've been doing and hope they lose weight.

Most health issues in the U.S. and abroad have been caused by the use of vaccines. Thimerosol will be one factor, but the viruses themselves will be the main factor. Research virology and you will soon discover viral behavior when exposed to antibiotics and what the body does when in a poor nutritional state weakening the immune system even more. Truth is...if you received vaccinations (and most here have), than you carry viruses in your body...forever. If you take antibiotics for any reason in the course of your life....you've treated a viruses with an antibiotic. That is a medical faux pas in a big way. Don't be fooled into believing otherwise. Most viral organisms will begin it's initiation through your body by incubating around one of the 7 major energy centers (or glands) in the body. If left over the course of time, these viruses will activate in times of stress and trauma. If treated like a bacterial infection with the use of antibiotics...the virus will subside in order to mutate into a more virulant strain in order to survive. Antibiotics aggravate viruses, but doesn't kill them.

All of our bodies have been programmed (through our DNA) to heal. There are few ailments that a body CAN'T heal from. The problem is the continual influx of immunity suppressing practices and the medical profession and those paid to protect us, are not providing accurate information to the unsuspecting public, which perpetuates the issues. However, I think that was the plan in the first place.

MSG makes junk food taste "richer" by fooling the taste buds.

Also nitrates.

Nitrates cause meat with a lot of fat content to appear red. Makes you think you're getting protein when in fact it's mostly fat.

Almost every darn one of us has been subjected to them.

We probably got a series of antibiotics in our toddler years. And then we get tiny bits more in our meat and dairy supply! Many of us have continued to receive multiple rounds of antibiotics for sinus infections and other respiratory aliments.

Here is the cycle in three steps (1) Antibiotics promotes yeast growth. (2) yeast lives on sugar, and so does our brain. (3) when our brain feels deprived due to a shortage of sugar (glucose), guess what your brain is going to command you to do?

(Answer) Eat more sugar and carbs!

Yes, the body is a complicated organism and it might not work exactly the way I've described it, but the results are the same.

I've been fortunate enough to be able to help people end this cycle at my store. Now the same free info is available on my hub page. Then come back here and order Dr. Mercola's probiotic to get yourself back on track!

hubpages.com/.../How-to-Flatten-Your-Tummy-and-End-Food-Cravings-EFFORTLESSLY

I'm telling you this because I know what it's like to be driven by food cravings. You'll feel so free once you discover this secret.

There's a bigger picture, too. Maybe as a nation we are on the brink of a widespread health collapse. It doesn't take for every person in a family to be sick or incapacitated for the whole family to struggle. But if two become crippled or seriously ill, the family can be overtaxed to the point of societal risk.

Today, more of the crippled are younger and younger. We must fix this. Reversing the antibiotic and yeast epidemics could be the #1 biggest secret to healing the US.

The best to you.

Kelley Eidem

Together we can cure cancer - one person at a time!

Tracy, maybe you got lucky and hit on the right combination of foods. Most of us weren't that lucky! At 53, I have recently lost about 25 pounds with many more to go. It has been a hard battle and very discouraging most of the time. I bet these girls are short on encouragement. Give it a try. Also, how much of your frustration is over your husband's ex's behavior and influence. Remember, these girls can't help who their mother is but can sure be blessed by their step-mother if you will embrace that role. My prayers are with you!

Understanding how the many hormones interact and act on the body is an incredibly complicated undertaking and I don't pretend to understand it all. Even the doctors don't understand it all. Dr. Vliet's books and website would be a good place to start for anyone who constantly struggles like me.

Please don't judge without all the facts.

I do not buy that. I spent the first twenty five years of my life as thin as a rail, eating what I wanted, and maintaining a busy and hard working lifestyle. The next twenty five years of my life, I spent dieting, and just as busy as I was when I was young.

About the time I hit twenty six, I began putting on weight, almost to the day when i received a huge number of helpful "vaccines" thanks to boot camp and the U.S. Marines. At that same time, my health crashed, and I began to experience a lot of auto-immune illesses, like Rheaumatic fever, and almost died.

I am convinced that the current obesity epidemic is connected to the massive increase of vaccinations that children and young people receive.

Prior to my military experience, I only had the standard dip-tet vaccination, and no measles, mumps or smallpox vaccines. I actually had chicken pox, measles, and mumps as a kid, but was one of the lucky ones to survive without any major side effects. I also had the polio sugar cube in kindergarten, which made me terribly ill.

Todays children are bombarded with huge numbers of vaccines from an early age, and seem to get more later when they are school age. We have children now who eat normal diets but many who grow very large for their age, and have massive weight gain..

I also suspect that the new fashion of giving kids "juice" which is mostly fruit flavored high fructose corn syrup, and soy products in their drinks and food are also doing some biochemical nastiness to the kids.

I have observed that first generation immigrants from Europe, Africa, Indian, and Asia tend to be short and thin, but their kids are tall and obese, even with about the same diets.

At the same time being obese does not provide any health benefit, it doesn't allow for longer life, it doesn't allow for more energy and in fact requires more expenditure on food, products, and larger clothes etc etc. You spend more, you have to consume more and so on. And lets think about this one: if someone is happy to be obese, I say great, but get obese by consuming good fats and high quality nuts, fruits and meats. Most people are obese because of eating terrible food. It's the FOOD, stupid. Stop eating demineralized CRAP and you won't have to start making pleas for people to "like you the way you are." It's like arguing "ohh we need to start learning to love people with alzheimer's." No we don't, we need to start questioning when our doctor says there is nothing we can do and try to change the diet, attempt a therapeutic treatment, etc. Who would say something like "we just need to start loving our meth-injecting son for who he is" or "we should learn to accept autism, and find better ways to live with children with the disease." These are damaging ideas which don't ask the question "WHY." As in, WHY is this happening so we can reverse it, or prevent others from having it happen to them.

I am sure that there are obese people who are great people. I know some myself who are wonderful people. But the point is that each of the ones I know are great IN SPITE of their obesity. And they are very sensitive about their body image. That is no way to live. Imagine how much happier each of these people would be if they had a more healthy body. And I am not talking about going from 300 to 105. I in fact personally prefer the opposite sex to be a slight bit over the "normal" weight and body shape. But lets be real, there is no reason logically one would want to be obese. Its a happenstance which since we feel unable to challenge, we must accept it. Bollacks. Turn off the TV and change your life.
