wow wow wow, I actually called two lawyers to find out if there was anyone I could sue for the ten years I Iost due to shrinks and pills!!! They said no, you cannot do that. So, I lost a whole decade of life? for what? I had kidney failure, weighed 217 lbs, huge personal losses, especially my kids, it has been awful, what "they" did to me. How I wish I had met someone then who is like I am now, or strive to be. Pharma is evil---pills are evil----it's all evil---get healthy, listen to Dr. Mercola, and live right. Take personal responsibility, and hang with people on the same path. Negative likes to take others down, and pharma is there waiting with a pill to take care of you. Don't believe it. None of those illnesses are real. Illnesses are caused by the pills, stress, poor diet, lack of water, and negative influences. If anyone says you're crazy for trying to live right, they are obviously ignorant, and think they need to be be sick, or depressed, or adhd, or add, or bi polar, or any other myriad of things. What people need is cooperation, education, change, true change. Abolish the FDA, and all the other agencies that approve vaccines, and meds for kids, or meds for anybody. I am so glad I got to grow up in the 70's, or my high strung behavior would have landed me in about 7 prescriptions for hyperactivity, adhd, depression, ibs, and many more. First, I apologize for not responding. I did not know anyone had questions.

Getting off Synthroid was arduous and difficult. I had withdrawals, and all that goes with it for a few weeks. I started slowly, eliminating taking it every other day, then would skip two days, then three, and then stopped altogether.

I also stopped taking all the other ones at the same time. Boy it was tough, but like I said, I am a survivor now 3 years and 4 months.

My TSH numbers were pretty high a few years ago 5.9 range. So the doctor thought I should be on this medication.

Last summer, my TSH was 51.39. The endocronologist that I saw gave me his "scary speech" and had me believing that I was not going to live another day unless I went back on the Synthroid. Ahh, I don't think so.

I had a major panic attack after this. Scared to death that I was to surely die of a heart attack or stroke or lapse into a coma.

I went to an acupuncturist and received treatments for about six weeks. The test was done again, and the numbers went down to around 21. Went back to that same endocronologist and asked me how the medication was doing for me, and that he was excited to know that the numbers had dropped so much in such a short amount of time, something that he had never seen happen. I pulled out the container of Synthroid, which had never been opened. I told him I never took it, that I received acupuncture instead. He had no explaination as to how this could have helped. He discharged me from his care and did not want to see me in his office anymore.

I take a Thyroid supplement every day: "NOW" Thyroid Energy. It is all natural, and it works for me.

I also take: B-50, Biotin, Daily Probiotic, Ester C, Flax, and Omega-3.

And of course, eat right (organic) and keep the stress out as much as possible.

this is why PHRMA is pursuing CODEX, it will give them full rights over the entire natural health product industry, so even if drug sales are dwindling, they will have patents over vitamin c and anyone who tries to sell natural vitamin c can go to jail, its already happening in germany, australia etc. we have to speak out against bill c-51 and codex NOW,

To Tanya1: Wow, you just made my day! I've never run across anyone who knew about Jordan Maxwell... He's probably the most intelligent person I've ever heard/seen.

Regarding the article... I just hope this isn't some sort of ploy by the drug companies to get government assistance or "pity" from the people.

I like to hear how people do well on alternative "medicines". I have had some good experiences also. We do live in the "last days" when evil is said to be good and good is said to be evil. I believe this is true in all aspects of life. I do believe that there are some illness, diseases, or disorders that do not have a "natural" or alternative way of treating it. It's these times I'm grateful for people with the intellect to come up with medicines that will help. It's too bad there are people that think all drugs are bad, just because they have had no need for any. It's also too bad that there are people that think natural and alternative methods are not effective in treating illness. We would all be better off if we were all less judgemental and more open minded to both ways of eliminating illnesses problems.

Can you say more mandatory vaccines? More guidelines to increase patient population to use statins? I personally think they should remove all patent expirations. Better to keep charging more for older meds, than to encourage them to create newer, possibly more damaging medicines! They are forced to come up with medicines quickly to support their profit margins!

I see several have touched on what Big Pharma may pull - but have stopped short. Watch for CODEX. Already in Europe and other countries around the world, folks are no longer free to buy supplements, etc. I think it is a safe bet the Big Pharma will put the pressure for the USA to do the same. Please research CODEX and support the fight to keep our freedoms. This not only pertains to medicines, pharmaceuticals, supplements, but also to the foods we eat - genetically modified or not, among other things.

I bet we wouldn't spend as much on healthcare if more providers would allow you to choose a naturopath as your primary care. It has been my experience that they spend much more time on prevention and nutrition. Out here in the pacific NW some providers do let you do this, other areas don't seem to be as open to the idea. Such a shame.

What a shame that the ever greedy drug industry will lose some of their profits in the near future. They have been in business for over a century and have not intentionally cured a single illness, as they say: 'your good health is bad for their profits.' The WHO once stated there are 206 diseases that affect humans, and therefore 206 medicines are required to treat these diseases. When the WHO asked the pharmaceutical industries why are there well over 100,000 different prescription medicines sold to treat these 206 diseases? They received no reply! The pharmaceutically driven medical profession have forgotten the number one rule in any healing practice i.e. DO NO HARM! I heard Merck wants to make the Gardasil vaccine mandatory for female students at age 14. Merck wants to make it illegal for supplement companies to state their products can burn fat or reduce body fat because they say the products aren't backed by clinical trials. Although the ingredients in the products may have clinical proof of reducing body fat as a whole they would not be able to state that. Merck wants to reduce its competition against Alli. I find this ridiculous. Also I heard they want to make regular vitamins and supplements only available with a prescription. I think they have something like this in place in France. We need to get the right information to the public so they aren't ignorant to these issues or we will all lose our ability to take care of ourselves and not let some bureaucrats decide whats healthy for us.

Gosh -this is so close to my heart! Mom-visited dentist for 40-45 years-toothless now at 66. Takes 17 different meds every day --has dementia.

I see a dentist every time I drive my husband to his useless cleanings twice a year. I see the dentist's face and then sit down and wait for my husband to get through with his torture--LOL!!

I went to a doctor once when I was.....23, that was MANY years ago. He told me I would be wise to get a PAP smear, ovary smushing exam, full blood work-up, and all kinds of medications because of my family history. No thanks. Mom, cousins, grandmoms, sisters, they all did that and most are dead now or suffering from dementia and various illnesses, etc. Every person in my family except for hubby has gone the "my doctor is God" route and "the more medications the better" way of life.

Sorry-but I go New Age-(which is really ancient knowledge rediscovered!)

I too smile whenever something hurts Big Pharma. It brings joy, warmth, and gleefulness to my heart and soul (lol)...

And whoever keeps saying 9/11. I agree with everything. But I don't see how it'll affect Big Pharma. But one thing for sure, the government itself would be doomed.

GlaxoSmithKline may be caught in the fire, but what about the other evil big ones like Merck and Eli Lilly? The juggernaut isn't going down without a fight, and I think the drug industry will use everything they've got and then some to keep themselves going. I have no doubt that it's what they want, to control the world by brainwashing and drugging every man, woman, and child.

Expiring patents and competition may be one thing, but I still long for the day when America and the world says no more-no more being drugged. But nothing would please me more to see the day when the people finally see and rise up against Big Pharma for all the harm they've done to the children with their shots.
