For an inspiring office environment, I would also add:

1. Eliminate clutter from your desk. It's a subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) distraction. I'm always amazed how when I clean up my desk, I feel more relaxed and focused.

2. Put an inspiring quote or affirmation on your desk, or on your wall in easy view. Or put a few... Something that inspires you, and lets you know that you can achieve your dreams or reach the income level you desire. One day I was inspired to write, "In this moment / I have the power / to be the "me" / I choose to be!" I have that in full view, next to my computer, along with the affirmation, "I allow myself to easily complete: Unleash Your Writing Genius." 3. Play music that you love. Music has an amazing power to help you stay focused and productive. I had stopped playing music when I wrote, thinking I needed to silence to be creative, but when I put a CD on one day, I discovered it actually made my writing easier.
