It takes a lot of investigation to get to the cause of things and most doctors do not want to or have the time to devote to your case, in addition to their conflict of interest if they are paid from big pharma. This is why everyone must be responsible for their own health. Period. I have never taken these drugs however, I had borderline high BP for a while and it worried me since I was getting older and my family had a history of heart disease. Ironically my problem was food allergies! When I stopped eating the food making me sick, I had several "side effects". First I lost twenty pounds. Then all the aches and pains reduced to only very slight, where before had been daily and I always took OTC pain killers. Now I take nothing. I think this was in response to the lack of inflammation - no inflammation-no pain. Then when I checked my BP, it had dropped a whopping 15 points! All that from food allergies. I think that the wheat, soy and milk (the big 3) are often GMO and cause a lot of illness but is unlabeled, so how do you know? Today I eat only meat, fruit, nuts, seeds and veges. Thats all. No bread or milk or soy or anything with yeast in it. Which means no alcohol and no pasta. Mercola is right, grains are often more harmful that not. I do not take any drugs today except an occasional ephedrine to clear my nose during high pollen counts. Thats it. I am healthier now than I have ever been in my life ( I am over 50) and that is because I stopped eating the junk of the evil empire, which is hell bent on killing us all slowly. We are nothing more than fodder to them. They are parasitic and need us way more than we need them. This is their fear- we don't need them and they know it, they spend so much money with trials, advertising, etc. to get us to buy their toxins. Ask yourself why was it a mission of the church back in the sixteenth century to wipe out herbalists? Just as it is today. Power hates competition.

Whey Protein twice a day, (one scoop each time). I still take my Vitamins because of weight loss surgery I had.. I have been eating salmon a long time, I added chicken breast in the evening most days. Sorry but I do lightly cook my veggies. Also I cook my meat. Just do not like the taste of raw meat. I have been eating to live, instead of living to eat for the last couple of months. Lost 20 needed off lbs.. Still need to loose more so I am going to continue to count calories for a while. But I had blood work done and all my Stats came back very normal and healthy. My blood pressure has always been ok. but now everything is great, in just a couple of months.

I went off the counting part when my sister died, but am going back on today. It is not hard to get your cholesterol down, you just have to want to, and you have to eat to live instead of living to eat. I see the plan to fail, if you fail to plan too now.

"LDL may not only bind and inactivate dangerous bacterial toxins; it seems to have a direct beneficial influence on the immune system also, possibly explaining the observed relationship between low cholesterol and various chronic diseases. This was the starting point for a study by Professor Matthew Muldoon and his team at the University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They studied healthy young and middle-aged men and found that the total number of white blood cells and the number of various types of white blood cells were significantly lower in the men with LDL-cholesterol below 160 mg/dl (mean 88.3 mg/l),than in men with LDL-cholesterol above 160 mg/l (mean 185.5 mg/l).18 The researchers cautiously concluded that there were immune system differences between men with low and high cholesterol, but that it was too early to state whether these differences had any importance for human health. Now, seven years later with many of the results discussed here, we are allowed to state that the immune-supporting properties of LDL-cholesterol do indeed play an important role in human health."
