Poor kids! Some foster care people are so inconvenienced by their foster children. I used to be a foster mom who later adopted two children in the fos-adopt system. While I was run ragged with the two of them, I never thought to drug them to keep them quiet! These people should have their foster home licenses suspended forever.

We have to consider the distinct possibility that the bureaucrats, doctors, politicians and media personnel are all on these drugs themselves. Think about that for a minute! Everyone around you is on this stuff so now you are the 'outcast' because you don't imbibe. Anyone want any SOMA? Read A Brave New World and tell me this isn't already happening. Maybe it isn't an organized plot and it's just a disturbing trend we can recover from. Then again maybe we are screwed. When will someone question the drugs people like Tim Russert and Heath Ledger were on? What will it take?

I've read plenty here on Mercola.com to cause alarmed reflection, but this info I've just read has such far reaching implications, I am reeling!

Folks, I urge everyone of you who has read this article to contact your lawmakers and forward them this article! If enough people would do this, we would see the first flickerings of awareness that would hopefully lead to change somewhere, somehow down the line. Keep trying!! Don't ever give up! Do not become complacent and hopeless!

Neglect and abandonment of a small and helpless child is a tragedy. To further victimize these most vulnerable among us is a crime against humanity. We must not be complicite with the unparalleled evil that is happening here.

If you want to see the ultimate consequences, just look at the misery, tragedy and injustice of our present criminal justice system!!

People, wake up, wake up-we all have a stake in all of this and a responsibility to do something about this situation that is at our front door. Don't turn away in overwhelmed disempowerment. Do the right thing and try to increase awareness- tell everyone you know what is going on. Write your congressman, senators and anyone else you can think of who makes public policy.

Readers, many of you know much more than I do- any ideas??

In response to this article and Inky Dinky's comment, I work at a hospital and have seen drugs used properly to sedate children and infants for procedures. It is necessary. However, I have also seen newborn and premature infants given sugar water. It is given to them because it calms them down. I am all in favor of making life easier for sick or injured babies, but I was shocked and annoyed when I found out that they were given sugar. They start them early on that stuff, and it is really a shame.

The reason that so many children are on meds, besides the greed of doctors and Big Pharma, is because the parents allow it. They don't search for alternative methods. Most children can be healed of their disorders by diet and/or detox. My children both have heavy metal poisoning (thanks to money grubbing BP). They both have problems because of it. We have chosen to detox and encourage a healthy diet with more fruits and vegetables, especially dark green veggies.

My child was diagnosed by the NHS in the UK with ADHD and Asbergers. They put him on a Ritalin type drug to control. the problem.

After 3 years I decided to throw away all factory made food and drink out of the house

apart from things like cartoned pure fruit juice etc.

Within a couple of weeks of having proper food I threw his medication away and that was just 2 years ago and he never looked back

He went from the bottom 10 percent in his class at school to the top 10 percent very quickly.

and the symptons. never returned.

How long is it going to take for some goverments to realise that they are allowing their

populations to be poisened by supermarket foodstuffs. ??

I would never defend big pharma unless it was warrented. In this case it almost is. They "sell" the drugs and "inform" doctors on those drugs so they are implicit here, but I can say from experience that the demand for these children to be drugged comes from daycare, foster care with CPS, teachers and anyone else who has to raise someone elses child. It is wrong and I believe, tragic with consequences that will be greater than anyone imagines. There is not enough foster care, not enough teachers and WAY TOO FEW who really are willing to put money into schools and social services. People ***, but don't want to pay for it. We will all pay for it one way or another though. The children pay the highest price. Of course the ultimate problem is that people who have psychological and/or substance problems that are incapable of raising their own kids keep bringing children into this world. Interestingly, many of these kids are from parents who were once "children of the system" themselves.

Although this is alarming and absolutley unexceptable, this has been going on for some yers now. There is a group doing something about it though, we should all be doing something about it, we can.

Check out www.CCHR.org Citizens Commission on Human Rights. Their sole purpose is Investigating and Exposing Psychiatric Human Rights Abuse. I must say that these childrens rights are being abused and even the Pharma Rep in the video agrees that it's al for money.

I was given sleeping pills as a baby back in 1964. I didn't think that sort of thing went on any more. It was obvious why I had trouble sleeping - I'd been in six different foster homes in my first six months and in an orphanage. I've never been able to sleep properly even when I'm content and I think it's due to those pills messing up my system so early. I wasn't even crying, just moaning or singing to myself for comfort and my adoptive mother was told just to give me the pills, shut me in a room and leave me. Funny, I never did learn to 'self-comfort'.

I wonder if anyone ever had this thought:

Take the "Requested Doctor Visit", take the prescription, fill the prescription, but NEVER give the medication to the kids. That way everyone is happy.......

Take away the sugar, processed food and the Children's Service, the Doctor and Big Pharma are ALL happy because you "followed the rules" (except for one teeny ommission), that they can't prove you didn't do.

When I was on Government Assistance in Canada, I used to have to get Medical checkups - paid by the Government, listen to the drug spiel, take a prescription, fill it, but flush the cr** down the toilet. Everyone was satisifed, including myself. I've been researching Health & Wellness for over 25 years, but unfortunately, it did not prevent me from making unfortunate choices in men... LOL.

My mom's best friend had a son

who was with someone

who caused a fire that

burned the Marin county court house down

tried as an adult. July 1973 he was to do 5 years in Prison

two years in a mental hospital, Napa State.

He told us

he was going

to pretend

to be crazy

so he could go

to the mental hospital.

He had pretended before.

He was later

given Thorazine

and had a paradoxical response

to it. instead of calming him down

it made him psychotic.

After 35 years he is still there

and they are still giving him Thorazine.

His two year sentence

turned out to be 35 years

for this 17 year old.

They give him about 7 different psych drugs

They had a public television documentary

on this and two of the doctors interviewed

died shortly after that.

My friends name is

David Hendrickson

and If I visit him early

in the morning before his meds

we have a nice visit.

He calls them the medical mafia.

They won't let him out

because

they say

he has brain damage

One thing that you all forget is that part of the problem is trust. You try to tell this to people, even when you are a nutrition professional like me, and they act like you are crazy. People assume that if these food additives and sugar and artificial sweeteners and dyes were so bad, they wouldn't let them sell them. So they can't be that bad. That is what some people thing. Sad but true. Doesn't mean they are bad parents. Just naive.
