The symptoms listed are pretty much the symptoms for MCS, CFS and FMS. How does one know when EMF has become an additional problem in the equation here? I do know of a case of someone who did start to have problems with EMF in addition to these problems, along with some other illnesses in the same category, but I don't know her to know what problems she experiences with the EMF. I do remember reading her blog, though, and I did read some of the same information that you stated in this article that people with MCS, who usually have CFS and/or FMS as well, will eventually develop problems with EMF.

How will I know the difference?

My health has been going down hill for the past year and I have not been able to figure out why. I do total intense cardio 2-4 times a week and work out with weights VERY intensely as well. I eat super clean and take the best supplements I can find. I am constantly updating my dietary intake and food choices yet for the past year I suddenly have terrible allergies, headaches, loss of motivation, loss of goals/pursuing my dreams, and my fingernails have grown terribly thin and bend back very easily if I grab something the wrong way.

My intake on cocoa, Yerbamate, and cacao beans has tripled just in the past few months otherwise I just feel crummy and not motivated enough to get things done. If I get a really good night's sleep I am in a daze for about 4-5 hours, then I finally start waking up and start getting things done. This started last summer and just accelerated over the winter.

I had been telling my brother all last winter that I just haven’t felt like myself lately, like I was fighting off a cold all of the time and constantly taking Echinacea to avoid coming down with one.

After about a year of this I knew it was no cold and that something was not right but just couldn’t figure it out and due to my lack of trust in the choice of local doctors I didn’t waste my time asking for their 2 cents.

After reading this article I unplugged my wireless setup either that day or the next. About 2 weeks later on a Monday right after an intense workout I suddenly felt like myself 100% as I did about a year ago before all of these things started happening to me. Ever since my divorce (4 years ago) I started really getting into exercise and healthy foods and the first three years I felt like I was age 17 again (I’m 46) until about a year ago.

It has been a week now and I have just felt FANTASTIC! I have had two days in the past year that I felt 100% normal and I don’t even think that lasted the full day.

I have thought for a while this might be what I am being affected by. I quick run down of the symptoms I have had in the past 2 years are: I developed Crohns, an immune disorder. I have chest pains/heart problems. Insomnia. Tinnitus. Skin itching and memory loss.

Until these symptoms developed I had been a perfectly healthy adult with no such problems in my life ever. No family history either.

2 years ago, the following changes in my life also happened a couple of months before my symptoms started. I bought a house within 50 metres of the largest electricity substation powering our city centre. I worked in our city centre, which had the first free wifi trial hotspots within 1 mile radius of the city. I had installed a wifi at home. I had a cordless phone at home. I used to sleep with my mobile phone next to my bed.

If I am sensitive to all of this stuff, then none of this could be helping. A year ago I moved interstate. Unfortunately my partner found the house, and didn't realise that there was another electricity substation at the end of the street. It isn't as close, maybe 200 metres away now with a few flats and houses in between. My wifi router is in another room. Unfortunately it's almost impossible to avoid wifi hotspots. Most McDonalds have one now, and if anyone has seen Super Size Me, we all know they are every mile in nearly ever capital city in the world.

I still have chest pains, tinnitus, itching and insomnia, but my crohns has been in remission since I moved away from the other large and closer proximity substation.

What can I do to counteract the sensitivity though? I'd love to know!

She thinks I am mad! She doesn't have any fillings!!!!!

Also I drink a lot of alcohol could this in conjunction with having 18 amalgam fillings and being swarmed with EMR be the cause of my EHS? LloydChiro your on the wrong website shouldn't you be on the Quack sites? I am 1000% sensitive to EMR and would love to prove it to you! Fact mobile phones give me the same symptoms as mercury poisoning!! Oh by the way I can watch TV and go on the computer and feel ok, good job as I am a computer engineer. Also I can drive cars, walk under power lines, wear watches. EHS is such a rubbish name. I suffer from information carrier wave fever.

That is why people get sick.Healthy cells will withstand the radiation. Now I know such protection mechanism may be hard to do, but I know it works. Since I started this protection actively,I don't feel any strange feeling in my hand when I hold a cell phone. Of course you want to still minimize cell phone use and use ferrite beads, etc., because no one is a 100% master of his/her body.I.e. u always have some vulnerable cells, but the less you worry, the less of these cells u will have.

It makes us aware of all the electronic gadgets we have around us. I immediately thought of the negative ion generator I installed in my bedroom a year ago. These machines have been very well acclaimed as tools for improving overall health and condition by tilting the balance of ions in the air we breath back from overall positively charged ions caused by pollution, at least in most urban areas.

We now know that exposure sunlight is essential, but the visible light is only a small part of the whole EM spectrum and there might be other forms of energy fields, undetectable by "science" yet. Artificial radiation interferes (distorts) with the natural signals and so we loose the connection with the seasons, the earth, nature and maybe even other living beings.

Is there a solution? I don't know, sleeping on the earth under a faraday cage (metal screen) blanket might restore the connection with the earth, but what about the fields generated by the sky (stars/planets/sun) then? Wearing gold supposedly protects us in a way, but there is little scientific investigation in what gold really does, maybe it's just one of gold's isotopes (there are 17 mostly radioactive, maybe that's where the alchemists were aiming at) or the monoatomic gold that really is the active substance. Some advice gold nuggets as these still have crystalline gold and isotopes inside.

So as there might not be a "hard" protection, one has to resort to symbolic protection, meaning using patterns, designs, symbols that have the right resonance. Radionics deals with it, but there is little scientific "proof" for its effectiveness.
