Once you understand what this image represents, you will be forever changed by it. I never gave it a lot of thought because I was too tied up in just trying to survive in this rat race. We live in a world of people that lie so much that they don't even know what to believe themselves. I for one have always tried to learn as much as I could and when computer classes was over I still wanted the class to last longer, because I felt that there was so much more to learn. I have this belief about who God really is and after a long time of chasing it back and forth in my mind, I came to the conclusion that with this brain of ours so much like a computer; And the bible saying God was made in our image, I feel like each and everyone of us is God and to do yourself wrong is the worst sin of all. I could go on and on with examples and I'm sure everyone else can too, after they start to thinking about this and all that the bible say's. Each of us are individuals, but we also have the same chances in life as far as our way of thinking is concerned. Even when I was very young I heard of things I thought would never come to be, but they did and almost anything I could dream up back 70 years ago have come to be and from this conclusion I figured out that anything is possible that you can think up or kick around in your mind; Try it and then if you live as long as I have you will see these things come true. Just like Buck Rodgers in space and water made into Hydrogen fuel. If we all think about it, even if you hurt someone else, your only hurting yourself, as your conscious is your God, and each of is our own God. And that is as close as I have come to trying to figure out who God is. The big bang happened just a little while ago, although they say it was billions of years ago; And if the next 50 years go by as fast as the last 50 years, I'm afraid to blink my eyes, because looking back on it my memory is my life and when it is gone even though I live on, I no longer exist. Now I'll dream about this tonight! Maybe you will too.

We look at beautiful paintings and great architecture, and we would NEVER think to ourselves "Isn't it fascinating, the way that picture has evolved all by itself - its just developed out of the canvas over time". No. We see, and we know there is an artist or designer! Why then do some not apply this same rule to nature? A simple building can't erect itself but millions of cells can work in unison and organisms, minerals and planets, nutrient filled water and universes apparently manage to do so without a designer. Now that's seems a strange logic to me! Or maybe its not logic but faith.

One of my little favourites when a person tells me they don't believe in God, is to just let them know, "Well, that's o.k. for now because God certainly believes in you!"

We watched an awe-inspiring video, and both people of faith and those without faith have turned an extraordinary experience into a pathetic excuse to bash each other. With a few exceptions, you should all be ashamed of yourselves for such juvenile behavior.

I know many scientists. Many of them are deeply devout believers in their particular faiths. I know many non-scientists. Many of them have no belief system whatsoever. The people self-righteously claiming such inanities that evolution is only a "theory" have no concept of what a scientific theory is, and are showing their total ignorance. The common use of the word theory does not mean the same thing as a scientific theory.

Look, people, use your brains AND use your faith - there is absolutely no reason that science and religion conflict. The two don't conflict for anyone who is familiar with the scientic method and familiar with the bible. Even evolution fits into the bible, for those capable of reading it, and those who know what scientific theory is.

How sad that that this video has inspired so many to try to insult and hurt each other, playing "my belief/disbelief is better than yours" and showing off their own ignorance and bigotry on both sides of the arguement.

There is no conflict between faith and science - only conflict between people who don't think before they open their mouths (or keyboards) and flaunt their hate for everyone to see. Because that is all most of you (again, the exceptions know who you are) have been doing - displaying the hatred and intolerance of the ignorant.

I am going back to comptemplating the beauty of the universe - and weeping over the ugliness of so many of my fellow human beings.

But the fact the universe is 'There' is the truth..... whether 'someone' created it or from an big 'explosion'...... what does it matter??
Please don't forget, it was only a few centuries ago that we proved the earth is not flat & now we're peering into the beginnings of time & to imagine what the James Webb Space Telescope will bring to us when it becomes operational.... maybe we can even see other earth equivalents in the nearby star systems, anything is possible & breath taking even to imagine that!!!

Oh! As for the video.....absolutely stunning! I'm hoping that heaven will have super highways to all the places in the universe. No wonder God promises eternal life. It would take an eternity to visit it all!
