One brand name of this type is Real Salt. It includes trace minerals from the bed of the ocean millions of years ago. The taste is saltier, so you use less, and it is more balanced and better for you. I've heard that its iron content can be too much for some people.

What have you heard about evaporated sea salt (not pink or black or mineral-laden)? If you have been watching your diet or just naturally eating wisely for a number of years, chances are your salt intake is all right. If you are tuning in to new habits of listening to your body's needs and eating according to that, try a few things and see what works best for you, minding the additives and eliminating them as best you can.

Incidentally,I am not associated with the food industry.

Yellow #6 is often used in conjunction with Yellow #5 in pickles and relishes. Red #40 is still used to color many candies and drinks. And, my husband has a friend so severely allergic to it that he's almost had to be hospitalized after eating it. I've never had a reaction to it, but why continue tempting fate? I've begun avoiding it.

There is a cure for cancer and other non curable diseases . To state this would put so many people out of a job it's mind boggling. Genetic habits is 100% correct... I was told this over 17 years ago by an alternative teacher among other things that so go against what the public is being fed. Thank god I met her because she recently diagnosed an issue I was having that the doctors (3) could not figure out. I say to hell with mainstream medicine and the FDA. Neither is looking out for our best interests. You need to be open minded and do your homework. Thank you for your post. It's very hard to find people who really know what is going on.

I've worked in dentistry for over 20 years and while I don't disagree with her statements about the mouthwash, it makes me wonder what other contributing factors led to "tissue death" of her husband's mouth. Was he a smoker? Heavy drinker? Even in the past? Was he taking any kind of prescription medication? What was the surgery for initially (ie: did he have oral cancer?) I would like to know which mouthwash was the culprit (ie: Peridex aka chlorhexidine gluconate or another). Thank you.

'Organic dirt'? What do you mean? Soil is made up of inorganic materials - rocks of different types, depending where you are, plus varying amounts of organic matter. Potting mixes are usually mulched-up, broken down plant material with maybe some sand.

Manufacturers of potting mixes don't waste their money adding unnecessary things like pesticides or insecticides. Just buy bags of potting mix and add your own nutrients. Better still, make your own compost, or set up a worm farm, then you will know exactly what is in it.

Good luck with your growing.
