I do appreciate these lovely photographs. Because we are all so different, there will be inspiration initiated in each one of us, filtered by our individual levels of consciousness. Whatever the varying shades of response each person expresses, all folks are uplifted by experiencing things of beauty.

I have a butterfly in his cocoon right now. I live in the dessert so I'm lucky I have one! he's do to 10 days-9 months. I hope he is ten days!Oh, and Happy Fourth of July!

This is regarding A Storm's comment from 7-3rd. (in case of the small chance of you reading people's comments again on this article)

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience from ones that claimed to give you advise "from God or the bible".

This advice was very unscriptural, and doesn't reflect God's view on the problem.

I know that religion and belief in God has been given such a horrible name because of people's conduct that claim to represent him, their own interpretations of how God feels about certain matters and because of man made doctrines.

But that doesn't change God, the kind of God he is and how he will eventually resolve all matters.

So don't hate God because of how people make him out to be.

( I know I'll get tons of thumbs down for that one)

This is also the first subject of Doc Mercola's I've ever commentrd on, and it will also be my last.

Those of you that don't believe in God: it's your right to do so, no human should judge you on that.

But even if you don't want to give God the credit, at least don't give it to "blind chance". Think about this: how many of the most famous artists on earth ever "created" his masterpiece by "accidently" dropping a bucket of paint on the canvas? It surely didn't sell as expensive art if they did.

So obviously it takes intelligence to create "art" and "masterpieces". If you don't want to call it God, that's your right, but don't give "coincidence" the credit.

To all those that hate us "religious nuts" so much: don't complain when the day comes and God will step in and do away with those that stubbornly refuse to find out if he truly exists.'

Of course those that believe that there is a god, and that their particular god created the butterflies.. are just pure ignorant..

Do we need to tolerate their ignorance, for the purpose of being "nice". nooooo way.. I will never tolerate that.

Your belief is your private concern, a bit like haemorrhoids.. please dont share them with the world., or indeed the rest of us, who enjoy the beauty of nature..

By the way.. your god created haemorrhoids as well.. I will be interested to read your response.

I read Dr Mercola sights for insight, knowledge, inspiration, but not for adding more stress to my life. But good grief, this has been the most stressful blog I have ever read on this site! All over some beautiful butterfly pictures! Yes, they are beautiful. Thank you, Dr Mercola.

When we perceive beauty in any form it evokes in us a spiritual response. That, to many people is expressed as God. But if we are "godly" we must also see beauty in the ugly, as in the sick or the dying, As Mother Teresa did.

Folks, your religious convictions are a personal and private matter and of no interest to the public. Beauty is just that, beauty. We recognise beauty, magnificence and majesty around us because we are all made /created from the same souce, wether that be God or whatever you need to name it, it is our vital energy, our life force, the reason for our existence. I beleive it should be about recognising the beauty of that source around us and not question where, how or why, just be in that moment and revel in that perfection. These images remind us of who we really are, ultimate perfection that is still present within each individual, its just that it is overlayed by so much false ideas, beliefs and attitudes. Just be joyful and grateful in the moment and respect everyones comments wether they know this or not.

I am curious to know whether the vibrator you speak of might be good to re-activate the nerves in the feet and legs that are suffering from peripheral neuropathy (not to be confused with diabetic neuropathy). I have tried many things and have not found a good solution yet. Am still looking. Thanks!
