I have never been a typical male, in that I am not obsessed with a woman's breasts. I have seen men who are and it is an understandable, because men are visually stimulated (that's why Playboy will always outsell Playgirl...), but somewhat sad state of emotional insecurity in men.

I include myself, as at one time in my life as I began to recover from a most traumatic childhood (from inside the womb - my mother only didn't have an abortion because the woman nurse where my grandmother lived was friends with her and wouldn't perform it), I realized that staring at very attractive women, especially when very stressed, was a part of my medication for the emotional turmoil within me.

While that why no one has mentioned it eludes me, there is a native American cure for many catastrophic illnesses considered incurable by the medical establishment, including cancer. It was researched and proven by a Canadian nurse, who named it Essiac tea - her name spelled backwards. It came very close to being an official cure in Canada, and many skeptical American doctors became convinced when she treated terminally ill patients here in the States. Of course, the big pharmacoepia couldn't have that and devised a delay tactic: let us perform a study and then take a vote. The cure got buried in bureaucratic red tape and they prevented it from becoming an alternative treatment to their poison treatment that is supposed to halt the cancer before it halts the beating heart of the patient. HHA out of Arkansas - Mariah Cane - sells a good grade of it.

It piqued my interest since I hate mammograms and routinely delay getting them. Large thick breasts are the worst to mammogram and the technician always leaves me in extreme pain.

Anyway, I finally found a thmographer down in Ventura, about 5 hours south of where I live in CA. I traveled down to her two years in a row for my thermograms. After getting the first analysis, I found out the 18 years of premarin didn't help and I was worried I'd done too much damage with that drug. I immediately began taking bio-identical hormones and studied other literature in order to find out what steps I could take to improve my breast health.

My recent (3rd) exam showed improvement and the numbers are now at the 2 level. I'm thrilled and I'm a strong proponent of thermography. I routinely address individuals and groups in order to promote thermography and explain why using it over mammography. Recent statistics on thermography say it detects up to 94% of all breast problems through any tissue type and all the way to the chest wall. Mammography misses up to 46% of all problems and only reads what's compressed between the glass plates. It's basically ineffective. Please urge those you know to seek out thermography or travel for thermograms. This test will do more to create breast cancer awareness than any other test now available. Once we find out about breast health, we have the ability to take steps to improve it. Become aware of those steps yourself and change your lifestyle as needed to take care of your breasts. Join in the army to demand thermography exams for every person in the US who needs one. Help spread the word and help explain the need for thermography to your doctors and insurance companies. With all of us working on this, we ought to be able to affect the change we desperately need.

I have had the breast thermography and, also, the Halo. The thermography checks the breast tissue. The Halo checks the ducts and fluid. Even though my doctor is very progressive, I was told several times that I should also have a mammogram. I told him that I heard what he said, but I wasn't interested. I feel that the doctors are required to recommend the mammogram for FDA and legal reasons. The website for the Halo is www.PapTestForTheBreast.com. Insurance does not pay for either test.

My wife has never had a mammogram and we don't expect her to ever get breast cancer because we have always avoided all the allopathic hype, the coersion, never taken the pill or HRT. We have also tried to avoid all chemicals, eaten organic when we could and taken supplements to make up for what's lacking in the food. My 65 year old wife is never ill. Most respondents believe that its all about money but that is only the half of it. The other half seeks to depopulate the world and what better way than for people to trust the medical profession and be persuaded to self destruct with medical toxins and invasive procedures that shorten lives. Humans are designed to last for well over a hundred years and that is a scientific fact, yet we are lucky to make 80years often in a diseased and decrepid state of health. Governments do not want us to live for a hundred years or more in the belief that pensions can't be sustained that long. The epidemic of chronic and degenerative diseases, (of which breast cancer is only one) are all man-made ,and it is man that has to put a stop to it! There is only one way to do that...reject the technology and chemicals that have brought it about. There is no half way, and unless we go back to nature and follow a non-destructive path we are stuffed, to put it mildly.

I am a physician but I also like to "think outside the box"! Ladies and Gents remember that your physicians are first humans- there's only one All Powerful and All Knowing Being and it is not your doctor! Having said that, the same applies to the researchers who are dedicated to studying various diseases! We, the medical community, need more scientists and obviously funding to study PREVENTATIVE measures as well as reactive, treatment modalities. We fuss about disease diagnosis and treatment but how many of you smoke, are overweight, wear false finger/toe nails, drink too much, use drugs, buy foods coated with chemicals and serve them to your family after a simple rinse under the tap! I could go on and on but I think you get the point! If WE ALL take a better PROACTIVE stance concerning health, maybe "we the people" can turn our Americak Health Care system around! "We the people" have allowed CEOs of insurance companies and lawyers make medicine a fous on the dollar and not a focus on your individual health care needs! You have insurance companies denying approved daignostics or treatment modalities until your primary care doc (who knows you and is trying to help you) fills out a "gazillion" forms! Why don't you all bug the crap out of insurance companies and get them to take YOUR premiums (ie: your money) and give you more choices instead of focuing on making the CEO RICH!!? I had a patient get some sort of thermo scan that showed "hot spots" in her neck. She ran to the ER totally afraid she was about to stroke and was basicaly laughed out of the place. I saw her on follow up and requested an ultra sound of her neck and yes she did have disease and needed surgery. There IS a place for conventional and alternative and new modalities. Let's find a way to bridege the gap! It's up to you! PS: and complain that these newer modalities you pay for out-of-pocket cost too much! Most of my patients can afford a thermo scan!

I was informed yesterday that she 'has cancer' as she has four lumps which indicates a mastectomy. I was quite alarmed as this does not indicate a diagnosis until confirmed by biopsy. Even then 'a mastectomy' sounds radical.

When a natural therapist as myself states that there are some great alernatives on the market, one is quickly told that it may take too long and jeopardize her life. 'What if it doesn't work.......it would certainly be great to know about thermography as a form of diagnosis here in Australia.... At the end of the day( above comment) one has to search for our own way....it may be through prayer, it may be anything you feel is for you....we should never condem anyone for trying different treatments....Some people are knowledgeable about alternative treatments, some are not. Not everyone believes in the Lord.

However I do believe the medical model as it stands is only too quick to diagnose 'cancer' and in some cases they may be in error. I did have a mammogram many years ago when little evidence was around. I thought it was extremely uncomfortable and have not have one since. I am 56 years old and in excellent health, praise God.
