A few years ago somebody did a study that showed that the whole population of the earth could fit into Texas, with each family having a single house with a backyard. Some countries (particularly Asian and African countries) have food shortages and dire poverty due to government corruption and/or internal wars, not overpopulation.

Lets just look at Canada (which is where I live). Most people here live in cities along the U.S. border. The farther north you go, the thinner the population. Canada could support many more millions of people easily. And the same holds true for many other countries.

As for the water shortage: Stop the waste from industries from being dumped into rivers and lakes, don't allow raw sewage from being used on fields (which ends up in the water supply, and be more responsible with water usage. But of course, if everything else fails, it is quite possible to distill all that seawater into excellent drinking water. So, we will never REALLY run out of water, that is just not possible.

And as for global warming: That is just poppycock, made up by the environmentalists to control people. There have always been natural fluctuations in earth temperatures, and there always will be. It has nothing to do with what people have done.

I am all for treating the earth kindly and with respect. I recycle and try not to create a lot of waste. But I am all for also being sensible and don't believe all that brainwashing nonsense our governments and many so-called scientists spout.

The debate continues...does it exist or doesn't it? Man-made or happening anyway? Smarter people than me seem to come to opposing conclusions on this subject.

Those that argue against its existence or against man's affect on it seem to be motivated by a desire to treat the planet any way they want to believing there are no consequences. Considering that we all subscribe to this newsletter implies that we all believe there are consequences to how we treat our own bodies. How can we possibly divorce ourselves from responsibility for how we treat our planet? We affect the lives of generations to come just by the amount of trash we produce each day.

Whether or not Global Warming exists or what causes it, we have serious problems to solve regarding pollution, food, and now, perhaps even water. It is not beyond the realm of possibility that these water shortages are the result of evil men at that top controlling even our perception of reality. If voting is the only tool we have, we need to do it wisely. If our votes don’t really count, only God can save us.

Hmmmm….only God can save us anyway.

If you were 200 lbs overweight, we would not call you a healthy person. Yet that is the condition of the average beef animal, that has been dosed with hormones and antibiotics and been fed ground newspaper with ink and heavy metal content. And we eat eggs and meat from chickens that have been raised in an environment where the air is so bad that humans cannot survive without a breathing apparatus. And pigs are raised in multi storied barns so that the pigs below can pick through the droppings of those above for undigested grain and also live in toxic air.

A few years back the Sierra Club published statistics that showed that with all the domestic animals and human population, that the world is producing more excrement that nature could break down. So no need to worry about these issues, cause the world is drowning in its own sh-t. Don't hear much about that any more, must have affected donations

What needs to happen is more fluoride in the water so you folks won't be so rowdy about these issues. When the first Jews liberated from the camps in Germany reached Israel, the Israeli's were angry, asking why did you let them do that to you? The folks in the camps had been fluoridated to make them passive, now 70% of all municipal water in the US is fluoridated. And you expect change to happen in this country? Home water filters are specifically designed to not remove 'beneficial' fluoride from tap water

A political argument is a no-win situation. Republican "Scientists" and Government-paid "Scientists" (MOST) will argue against the Global warming issue. Democratic "Scientists" and True independant reseaechers, will tell you the truth about Global warming. How about closing your eyes to the "politics" and use some common sense.

One percent of the worlds water is usable for human consumption. There are more and more people every year. There is more and more pollution of our water sources every year. These facts lead one to see that clean water is at a premium and less and less is available each year. Because you may be a republican and not care about the planet 100 years from now, will not change these facts. How about NOT being a Republican OR a Democrat, and instead be a human being and a resident of planet earth? Care a little about the future of your children. DON'T POLLUTE, and DON'T WASTE WATER !!!! It's the right thing to do, (Global warming or not).
