Has Dr. M ever had an article or comment about Graviola? If not, how do I contact him so he can research it for us? Has anyone here hear of it? It's suppose to be from a plant in the Amazon. Any comments would be appreciated.

Graviola is being touted and investigated as a cancer cure but there are now reports that it may instigate Parkinson's disease. Please be cautious.

I wonder why there are so many "diets", even Dr. Mercola's, that suggest you should eat certain ways for your nutritional type, blood type, food combining, etc etc. God said that He made all the fruits, vegetables, grains for us to eat. He later added certain clean meats (after the flood) which He said we could eat. Jesus ate bread and fish or lamb together without food combining. Seems like man is always trying to improve on what God has said. Why not check out the Bible to see what God said we should and should not eat - it's all right there. I trust Him more than any doctor or nutritionist. And God did not invent processed food.

If there are so many herbs, vegetables, and oil that cures cancer why have there not been ONE single random double-blind study so far proving this?!?

All you "doctors" out there writing books and publishing your pseudo science, why don't you make at least ONE study showing that you are right???

I tried the habanero pepper, garlic (both freshly grated), on ezekial bread, with butter and cod liver oil, for my Stage IV prostate cancer, for 3 straight weeks, 20 out of 21 days. Went to my oncologist, and my PSA went up from 5.1 to 7.4. It was initially 837, with over 35 observable tumors on my skeletal system. I will have a bone scan to "look at" the tumors some time over the next week. Not convinced about the peppers, etc, as I'm finding out that there is a huge difference between cancer cells being killed or dying invitro, as opposed to being tumors with a ready blood supply in the body.

Still don't believe in a magic cure for cancer, mainly a change in lifestyle and old habilts. No longer consider myself as a "cancer patient", just as being unhealthy and needing to make the changes: nutrition, exercise, spiritual, etc to become healthy.

I have been treated for cancer, successfully, with chinese herbs. The herbalist gave me a list of tumor enhancing foods to not eat.....hot peppers, garlic, onions, chicken, lamb, turkey were top on the list. Can anyone explain to me why high amounts of pepper worked for one, but is recommended against by a chinese herbalist?

If we can grow raspberries in our back yard, why in the name of all that is right can't we grow hemp. It is known to cure cancer and other diseases. I believe that there will come a day that the evils of chemo and radiation will be revealed, and that a God given plant like hemp will be standard treatment that we can do for ourselves. I have been picking black raspberries every summer for the past 17 years. I wear boots, long sleeve shirt and long pants and this was the first year I used a mosquito net for my head. They are ripe in southern WI around July 4th and the picking is about 2-3 weeks long....the berries ripen over that period of time. An interesting note is that they like to grow by walnut trees, which may contribute to their powerful nutrients. You can find them along country roads, in wooded areas and in between fields. They like a bit of shade and the ones that grow in the full sun are smaller. I rinse them in water, drain, put on cookie sheets, freeze (only a few hours), then put in freezer bags and have berries for the year. Frozen berries are a nice addition to oatmeal. They cool the hot oatmeal and the hot oatmeal thaws the berry. Black raspberries are definitely a treat from God, from watching them grow, to picking, to serving months later from the wonderful summer harvest.

I consider myself lucky, as we have wild blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, huckleberries and cranberries growing on our property. Did you guys check out "Cancer is a Fungus" on Dr. Mercola's site? It's a video and worth looking at. I believe that there has been cures for cancer a very long time ago. Radiation and Chemotherapy create cancer. There will never actually be a "real" cure, as the governments/pharmaceutical companies etc. wouldn't want to lose out on all of that cash.............such selfishness and greed!!! That's why we have to rely on ourselves and do the very best to take care and eat the proper foods, exercise etc. We need to become our own Drs.
