Though Tesla's contributions were important and fascinating, he also was an antisemite, his genius had limitations as he refused to accept Einstein's theories, he was insane, and probably homosexual (not that there's anything wrong with that- lol).

So why exactly is Tesla's work hidden?

Who does it threaten?

The common thought is that it threatens the money powers, but consider that those powers already have all the money they could want. If not they simply make more of it. They own the world.

The could make a profit on giving us the benefit of all this technology, but instead they use it for destructive purposes....bigger and deadlier war machines.

So why do they keep us sick and short lived?

As to destroying the Earth....well they are doing that too. Between their air explosions of the A-bomb and HAARP they have blown away a good portion of the Earth's atmosphere.

They promote the use of chemicals that poison not only the soil, but the plants that grow in it, as well as the water that the chemicals eventually leach into.

It seems that they and their offspring are not planning to continue living here.

Nikola Tesla faded into obscurity during his later years because he was unable to raise enough capital to fund his research. The financial deathblow came when he generously offered to give up the royalties to his ac motor for only $1 million in order to save his friend Westinghouse from bankruptcy. We are all the poorer because of that gesture.

During his heyday, Tesla was the toast of Manhattan. He routinely socialized with America's rich and famous, wowing visitors to his lab with all kinds miraculous gadgets. One visitor observed that Tesla's lab was lit up without any visible light source.

He regarded Edison's experimental approach to product development as crude. Tesla had the amazing mental ability to design and successfully test something in his head thus avoiding the need for numerous prototypes.

The reason that so many inexpensive and effective therapies and inventions are suppressed is because entrenched interests have learned to harness the gun of the state in order to protect themselves from competition. Nothing will change until we collectively acknowledge that societies organized using force and the threat of force instead of cooperation through individual freedom are deeply flawed

what about the most overestimated 'scientist' in history: LOUIS PASTEUR, who invented food preservation by extreme heating (milk) and toxic vaccines?

Or the most overrated politician in the world: SARAH PALIN who think dinos and man ones walked the earth together (www.huffingtonpost.com/.../palin-claimed-dinosaurs-a_n_130012.html). Hope Obama wins this now even more.

The story of Tesla is fascinating, but messing with the 2nd law of thermodynamics (free energy nonsense) is one bridge 2 far...

You've copy and pasted the American Cancer Society's latest slam on Dr. Revici. It's centerpiece is its feckless reliance on a fraudulent report published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.

It's worth noting that the only meetings held by the authors of that disgraceful study took place at the International Press Club. The bar bill indicates that as an average of SEVEN alcoholic drinks were drunk per person were consumed at these 'meetings.'

Testimony by two of the supposed authors revealed that no medical records were presented at the drunken meetings.

The report itself as it was written contains outright lies on the most important matters.

In my book, The Doctor Who Cures Cancer, an entire chapter is devoted to exposing the outrageous JAMA report.

I also believe Tesla was a monumental and unappreciated genius. What has always urked me is that he is consistantly referred to as a Serbian or otherwise foreign inventor (as in the youtube video). Tesla immigrated to America when he was 21 and received his US citizenship when he was 23. He lived here, as an American citizen, until his death at the age of 87 and he is STILL not generally acknowledged as an American! He was a great AMERICAN genius.

Nikola Tesla was the greatest, yet least appreciated genius of the twentieth century. It is a tragedy that his brilliant ideas and inventions were squandered on power-hungry elitists. With haarp technology further developed by domestic scientists, thermonuclear weapons (in megatonnages) are apparently no longer required to destroy large cities and populations. Particle-beam weapons developed in the late 1990s USSR were most likely an extention of Tesla's original, undeveloped concepts.

Yes Tesla is /was a genius.

Like all such folks he didn't fit too well into the situations he encountered.

Today there are many in the medical or better put health field that also have deeper understanding of what is going on.

They face the opposition of the powers that be because they too have insights into health matters that will eliminate a lot of the expensive foolishness that currently is sold as health care.

Those who are innovative and get out side of the current box of beliefs are able to see more clearly the cause of problems and also the solutions. Those who see things as Tesla did are very special and we would do well to listen to them and perhaps follow their ideas.

It will be necessary to return to a free society where others are respected for their innovation and accepted.

I loved reading the book Wizard, all about this amazing man. It is a very moving story about a very complex and unique individual that really resonates to this day. Politics, big business, greed and deception are nothing new, unfortunately, and just as people like Hilary Butler (http://www.ias.org.nz/ ) and others who go against the Big Pharma of today, he was demonized and discredited.

I'm happy to see Dr. Mercola give a well deserved nod to this amazing man.

There were a few comments poo-pooing Tesla's inventions and promoting instead the bounty of solar-energy. I feel compelled to respond with some elementary facts about solar as provided by Executive Intelligence Review. These are essential to understanding solar-power's admittedly limited application, and the necessity of fully developing other power-generating methods for the bulk of humanities' purposes. Here are some on-topic and excellent statistics you can share at a party or other social gathering:

" The basic problem with using solar power as a source of electrical power is the low density of energy flux from the Sun. Measured in watts received per square meter of land area at the Earth's surface, the yearly averaged solar flux varies across the United States from about 160 in New England to 240 in Albuquerque, NM, for a nationwide average of 200 watts per square meter. If all that solar energy could be converted directly into electricity, you could light two 100-watt bulbs for every square meter (about 11 sq. feet) of land area--during the day, that is.

"Of course, all the Sun's heat cannot be converted into electricity. Take the latest solar plant to be brought on line, Nevada Solar One, a solar concentrator plant near Boulder City, NV which incorporates the latest German-built parabolic mirrors to focus the Sun's heat on specially designed vacuum-insulated steel and glass receivers produced by Germany's Schott firm. Although rated at 64 megawatts peak generating capacity (that is at full Sun), the actual averaged generating capacity of the plant over the 24-hour day is somewhat under 15 megawatts. This is produced on a land surface area of 1.3 million square meters (321 acres) , bringing the actual electrical generating capacity of the plant to 11.4 watts per square meter. Thus it takes about 9 square meters, or 96 square feet of plant area to generate enough electricity to light a 100-watt bulb."

I agree with Mr. AK. Until very recently the harmful effects of a.c electricity on the living cells was not widely known. The application of knowledge without the wisdom to properly understand and rightly use such knowledge has always been the shortfall of all of man's inventions throughout history. It stems from his obsession with his own self-glorification and the desire to erect monuments to his own ingenuity. It is the product of a mind that is in rebellion against God and goes back to the tower of babel as recorded in the first nine verses of Genesis 11, where God had to intervene to curb the madness of man (to man, his genius).

I learned about Tesla and his work back in the early '60's when I embarked on the study of electricity, radio and electronics. Tesla gave the world the technology to produce and distribute electrical energy effectively and efficiently (relatively) through the use of a.c as opposed to d.c. Without it we would be many decades behind in our industrial developement; we would not have the electric train, refridgerator, air conditioner, computer, medical and communication devices, the hybrid or electric car etc, etc, which have become an indispensable part of our modern lifestyle, and which we have been content to embrace, notwithstanding our awareness of their life-threatening consequences.

And yet in spite of our knowledge of the dangers to ourselves and our planet, we continue to push the boundaries of these applications beyond our ability to predict or control their impact. This is, and always has been the nature of man.

We may, in hindsight critize Tesla for leaving us this lrgacy of potential destruction; but what about all the other devices that have been invented, many of which have similar potential?. The automobile is a lethal weapon in the wrong hands, and a cause of horrific carnage on our highways every day. It is in our hands; will we use it for our benefit or our destruction?.
