So much remains hidden by the giant corporations that affect the general population's health, in order to protect their huge profits without regard to safety. It is disgraceful that the FDA would side with The chemical industry's evaluation and reported findings without taking into account the independent findings of non-associated testing facilities. It makes one think that the decision makers at FDA might have a personal, financial interest in the decision making process. THE PUBLIC BE DAMNED!!

My 30 yr old son wants to sue Big Pharma due to his health problems. Any of you know of a class action suit (in Canada) against the vaccine producers and people with fibromyalgia?

My boy was a happy baby until the 18-month shot. He became a different person and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia at 19 yrs of age.

This is information I would not expect to get any place else. Thank you for this it explains a lot. I only wish I would have known this many years ago. I do believe I see some of the effects of these plastics on my grandchildren. I have forwarded the quick start list to my family members and will do the same with friends.

Through research by Dr. Hilda Clark, I know that plastic bottles give off toxins when heat and/or sunlight hit them. Now I know that some are harmful without the heat or the sunlight. I will keep a watchful eye on what I am buying in the future...Thanks again.

THE PATENT OFFICE DOES NOT MAKE ANY JUDGMENT ON WHETHER A PRODUCT IS USEFUL OR EFFECTIVE.

Impressive-sounding words which, carefully read, make NO actual meaningful statement (ie, the kind you could be sued for). Not much different from those stupid chain letters, always making claims with vague or meaningless attributions - "Bill Gates says this virus will jump out of your computer and eat you up!!!!" etc.

As for independent labratories - I do soil testing in my garden shed, I'm an independent labratory too! IE, another meaningless term cleverly crafted to give an air of authority without actually saying anything of substance.

Hello; I live in the mountains and pump my water from the creek and house it in a metal 9,000 gallon water tank. We then run it through reverse osmosis filters and a ultraviolet light then through a water softener. I have been looking into catching and storing rainwater from our gutter system then run it through the same above system. However, the only containers that I have seen at the green solar fairs have been made out of plastic. Anyone see any other possibilities?

Good Article! Information is a powerful thing. I educate my patients on these matters too, so they can make safe choices in their purchases. The public is being lied to about so many dangerous chemicals, and it is the main reason we have a cancer epidemic, and increased illness globally. Also, there are many stainless steel water containers availabe for the kids, adults, traveling about. Glass is still the best, but not always practical.

The power of the people is greater than many would think. Industry responds to the public when we stop buying their dangerous products. Corporations must be held responsible for their products, as well as clean up and restoration of environmental damages. Thrid party independent studies need to be done on these chemicals, all of them. Then haul them into court for lying, killing, decieving, with forced repariations.

Coop-America has been a wonderful watch dog on many business practices, and is an organiztion devoted to green living, and business practices including manufacturer's. The old boycott is still as powerful as ever. Loss of revenue for these corporations is all they understand. Coop America is a non profit group dedicated to the people (over 20 years old). If we don't have a means of getting truthful information, the public does not know of the dangerous products out there. Thank You Dr. Mercola, and others sharing this important news.

The FDA is not doing their job for the public. So we consumers cannot count on them to regualte or require 3rd party independent testing & studies, until they are mandated to do so. Also back to BPA, many young women these days have polycystic ovary disease, and breast diseases. connected with these plastics, known as hormone distrupors. The factual truth of the many studies is extensive on BPA, and prooves deep corruption is involved. Share what you know person to person, and in time many will no longer be buying their products.

BPA, bogus petrochemical agenda. Those products made from crude oil including plastics do not promote healthy cellular metabolism. What continues to amaze me is the issue of chemical fertilizers. Plastics and these fertilizers are the cash cows of the petrochemical industry. Fuel oil and gas until recently have not been the profit engines of the petrochemical industry. When gas was below $0.20 per gallon the Secretary of Agriculture added a rider to the farm subsidies act of the New Deal legislation mandating the use of chemical fertilizers if farmers wanted to be paid for not growing certain crops, passed in to law 1954. Oil became plant food and plastics with little regard to our health, the only concern was the bottom line.

From the "Graduate," Benjamin was told the secret of future wealth, "Plastics!" And he was correct but again little concern was considered regarding the effects of these plastics on our health.

Chemistry is hell bent to replace any and all natural substances with chemicals and plastics made from crude oil. The

additives found in our food are also made from crude oil. Dead dinosaurs and decomposed plant material is where the

crude is derived but when chemists discovered this they added an accelerated processing to make the products we now purchase, high temperatures. Most plastics will never decompose.

We study sulfur and sulfur is very sensitive to temperature and we argue that chemical fertilizers contain little or no

bio available sulfur. That sulfur becomes the emissions from these chemical plants in the form of sulfur dioxide.

Do we need to hang a few chemists to make our point that synthetic lab produced products are not bio friendly?

Or do we use the power of the purse and stop buying the product these chemists develop for the corporate engines who see our ill health as another profit center.

Did you know you may be sulfur deficient? Where do you get your sulfur?

Has anyone considered the timing of the rise of the US chemical industry? It was after World War II, when we defeated Nazi Germany. IG Farben was the German chemical company conducting highly advanced scientific experiments that were considered so unethical they were broken up after the war. What happened to all the knowledge and data they had? Imagine who was sitting at the table at the end of the war. The US won. Do we really think that we did not take all? The US chemical empire then began. It has occurred to me that your chemical empires run your countries. They make your military weapons. How can a government turn them down, when it needs them to produce its military arsenal? There has got to be a solution to this dreadful problem.

Hello, we all have been hearing about "plastics" for a long time now. I thought that the problem was when you used them to heat up food like in the microwave, for example. BUT are you all saying that they are harmful storing left-overs in the refrigerator or freezer, too?

And growing up, I knew that you should never store food in an opened can. Even cat food we stored in something else after the can was opened because of "something harmful" that would leach into the food (didn't know exactly what back then). So is it leaching into food even in an un-opened can? Hope I don't sound too naive. Thank you....I need to know.

I use glass jars in my freezer, which surprised a lot of my friends - 'but won't it crack'? No, only if you overfill with fluid, then the glass will expand and crack.

Leave a space at the top and you are OK. I freeze milk, juice and fresh herbs in glass, and have done for years.
