I already know all of this awful information! I'm glad this is getting out there and I hope more people start making some noise. After reading the information it is apparent that cell phones and other wireless technology is dangerous to our health. The research shows that their are no safe levels of EMF exposure. Cell phone towers are springing up everywhere. In back yards of homes, ball fields, parks, next to hotels and fast food restaurants. I saw one yesterday looming over a park where people were picnicking with their families. On a trip to Southern California, I found one right on the perimeter of a rest stop not 50 feet from where weary travelers rest or sleep. This is insanity. The more you read the more you will learn there is no safe level of EMF exposure. You owe it to yourself and your family and loved ones to do the research. Find out for yourself, only when enough people are informed do we stand a chance of changing things. The communications industry is a trillion dollar profit machine. They can buy their way in or out of just about anything. They managed to get passed the Communications Act of 1996 which allows them to place their cell towers just about anywhere they want. The governing bodies are not allowed to stop them based on the health and safety of the citizens. Can you imagine such a law? I couldn't either but their it is. OK, could someone please comment on dangers of using cell phones for text messaging, as opposed to phone calls? My daughter (17yo) probably uses her cell phone 99.5% of the time for text messaging, and any phone calls she does make are usually very short. In light of the idea of the phone emitting radiation all the time so where you keep it stashed when not in use is important, I worry about her (she stashes it "next to her heart", on the side of her chest under her bra strap), but the phone spends very little time next to her ear. Thoughts?? Also, we will be upgrading her phone here shortly; are there new phones that are better than others as far as their radiowave frequency or other emissions? Thanks!

About 9 years ago a woman called into a Talk Radio program in the UK that was discussing the possible dangers of mobile (cell) phones. She stated that her husband worked for a number of years with a certain telecomms company and was on 24 hour call. He was at present undergoing treatment in hospital. Apparently he had developed a tumour behind his right ear and cancer in the bone of his right hip.......the exact locations of his mobile (cell) phone. If it's not clipped to his belt it'll be against his ear. I suppose this occurrence, happening to one person, does not qualify as evidence, mm.

I think wireless uses microwaves, which aren't as dangerous as x-rays, but are the next worse.

My life has been hellish since the advent of wireless technology, especially cell phones and wifi. I developed a worsening of my OCD in 1985 or 1986 and spent years of my life cleaning things that were essentially already clean, washing my hands until they peeled and bled, I could go on and on here. Then in the mid-90's, if I didn't think things were bad enough, my pets started dropping like flies.

One cat suddenly began spraying the corners of the house, and then at the age of 2, he died of fatty liver disease. The next cat I got developed mange and died of FIP - again, at the age of 2. Then the next cat went into renal failurer - also age 2. And a hamster I had developed an abdominal tumor so large he had to drag it to eat.

My next door neighbor gave birth to a son with Down Syndrome - this boy later developed childhood leukemia. A boy on the other side of me suffered a stroke - he was maybe 8. I suspect that a cell phone antenna was placed on a water tower maybe a half block up the street!

When I moved here, things only continued to worsen. Two cats died of sudden heart attacks in this house, and I myself continue to struggle with all sorts of debilitating symptoms which seem to increase every year - depression, anxiety, fatigue, recurrent infections, strange rashes, palpitations, air hunger, joint pain, jaw pain, etc...

Add to all this the fact that my ex-husband had a brain tumor removed in 2007, and that I developed a mottling of my skin while standing over my mother's grave (dead of a brain tumor, of course), and then noticed that this cemetery was located near some high-tension power lines, I have nothing to say except that these frequencies are LETHAL!

Please, if you are a cell phone user, do not for one minute try to convince yourself that a headset will protect you. It's the cell phone masts that will kill you slowly!!!

Any of you that have real scientific knowledge of the numbers and tech on this issue, please respond here - I know that Dr. M's recommendation to get the old style low frequency cordless line phones for the home was impossible to follow ~ all new ones are now measured in Gigs, not Megs in output, so I bought one with only a single phone set as I understand that it will not be on and transmitting to the other set 24/7. Does anyone know if the air headset sold on this site works with iphone? I will add that the bluetooth hands free / earpiece free car sets are great; I know that I am still being exposed to EMF but it's a lot better than having it pressed against your brain, and it's a lot safer and convenient as well.

Something I couldn't help noticing in the pet shop the other day was a sign on the chipmunks enclosure, along with the usual details about where they were from, what food they ate etc, it advised against having them near wireless internet/bluetooth or mobile phones, warning that it could cause them brain damage.

Now surely, if it's the case for chipmunks, if you simply take a range of animals of various sizes, doesn't it then follow that to a degree , any animal may also be prone to the same effects?
