So, if the flu vaccine contains Various antibiotics: neomycin, streptomycin, gentamicin, how is that supposed to help fight off a virus? It doesn't. So, why would they put it in there. One dose of an antibiotic will only cause more resistant bacteria. Why do they even need to put heavy metals and adjuvants in the vaccines anyway. Doesn't make sense. My family and I are not getting the vaccine, its not worth the risk.

All Dr.Mercola's suggestions are great and I'll go with the D protocol if I get sick, which I don't think I will. What do people think about MMS (miracle mineral solution) to oxygenate the system and create an environment in which viruses, pathogens, funguses and parasites cannot survive ? It doesn't taste good and it is a nuisance to take 3X/daily for a few weeks but the theory sounds good. Please tell me your thoughts.

I don't agree with the marshall protocol for a couple of reasons (your link www.bacteriality.com), it assumes that the body is going to recover whilst in the unatural environment of no sunlight, and all the forums of people on this protocol are closed off so nobody can get in to look even, something stinks, sorry to say. They should bring it all out into the light.

I prefer something like this site, testimonials, links to scientific papers, a Dr not an Engineer etc.

Is there poison in vaccines? Yes, the antigen mixture & preservatives.

Antigens are manufactured by genetically engineered bacteria/yeast. Cell walls are destroyed to release the antigens. The growing medium now becomes a toxic antigen soup. Purification is attempted but "purified" antigens are ALWAYS contaminated with endotoxins, DNA fragments and cell debris.

The CDC/FDA/Mayo Clinic agreed that the product from one company, Showa Denko, contained toxins causing the poisoning. The FDA instigated a recall of all tryptophan from every maker, a move very unusual for an agency that lets corporations self-regulate. I believe the FDA, recalling all Tryptophan, was trying to hide the fact Showa Denko used genetically engineered bacteria to make the contaminated product. The FDA & CDC illicitly protect genetic engineering from bad publicity.

The bacteria were destroyed before they could be studied.

Antigens in vaccines are made & contaminated the same way with similar toxins and added mercury/aluminum. This corrupting cocktail could cause autoimmune disorders and/or autism.

I purchase supplements from Natures Sunshine Products. I recently heard a lecture by Dr. Gordon Pedersen, who has a Ph.D. in Toxicology. He was involved in formulating a new formula for Silver, called Silver Shield, U.S.Patent #7,135,195. Natures Sunshine claims scientific evidence shows this product can kill the swine flu, the bird flu and numerous other viruses, including SARS, Hepatitis, and Herpes It can be taken orally without any toxic effect and also used externally. It kills the bad bacteria and not the good bacteria.

What is with this 'flu' thing, Never suffered it, Perhaps my time is coming. If I do contract it, how long do I suffer ? Have had a cold that lasted a day, or two. Was that 'the flu'' ? Seems WAY out of proportion.

after a bout with the flu, a bad cold or a cough.

I have never had an annual flu shot and I'm 60 now. I just inherently did not like the idea of it. I started taking a minimum of 2000 IU of D3 almost three years ago when I started reading about Vit. D and it's possible preventative influences on getting Multiple Sclerosis, although that was after I was diagnosed three years ago with MS. I think all in all I take 2600 to 3000 IU's a day. I may have had mild flu once or twice when I was much younger. I haven't suffered from anything until this week when I got a chest cold and laryngitis which is bad news since I have singing commitments. I may try upping my vit. D, and I'm taking more Ester C now, but honestly if I did have the flu, at 130 lbs, 130000 units seems rather a lot. Doesn't such a large amount need to be given IV?

The one time I got the flu shot 12 years ago (when I was uneducated), I got very ill from the flu shot. For over two weeks I had a high fever, body aches, chills, cough, vomiting, weakness, and delirium. Never again! I am an RN and I work with tons of sick people on a daily basis. I also work a lot of long hours and miss a lot of sleep. I refused the flu shot for the last 12 years and have not gotten the flu for the last 12 years. I just went to my integrative medicine D.O. and she has instructed me to take Vitamin D3 15,000IU one dose for 3 days when I feel a cold or flu coming on and this will prevent the illness. It really works. Prevention is the key - proper nutrition, proper sleep, proper hand washing, stress reduction, etc. Flu shot will only weaken your immune system and add toxins to your body.

As the mother of 4.5 year old identical twin boys that were indeed affected by the flu vax, I would NEVER vaccinate again. Our twins were NOT born with autism, thank God for video equipment, after recieving a flu vax at 6 months and again at 7months within weeks they became lost. We never knew what hit them until a friend called regarding Don Imus back in 2005. The previous ped scared us into vacinating the entire family and our twins were NOT preemies. It is appalling that a ped was use infants, children,etc, to gain stock in big pharma. We are currently doing expensive bio-med to recoverthem and they have been slowly coming back. do you know the state of new jersey is hmandating vaccines for flue for school children this year, many people have lobbied against this on the capitol steps, it definitly is a test site for the future of americas mandated vaccination movement given by the military/government/pharmeceutical mafia, why i say military is because they are supposed to be the ones to eventually enforce containmaint facilities a pen that will hold the naysayers about this. also a biggie on this is the new multimilliondollar pahrmaceutical facility that was build over the last yer to produce vaccines on a much larger scale is built in new jersey, follow the money and well see where the trouble lies! absolutely scandoulous.

This is actually pretty interesting - it seems to me that Dr. Mercola only read the abstract (the summary) of the article, and didn't bother to read the entire thing (or else he doesn't understand statistics). I looked the article up and read it -- it's true that the study wasn't able to show that getting a flu shot prevented the flu in young children. However, there were a lot of problems with the study. First, the 2 years that they did the study were pretty bad years for the vaccine-flu match. 99% of the flu cases were influenza A, but only 11% of the vaccines even included that strain in them. So obviously, if the strain that is making people sick wasn't even in the vaccine, then it wouldn't be effective. Also, they only identified flu cases from hospital visits - plenty of kids could've gotten the flu, but not visited a hospital or doctor, and it may be that parents who didn't get a flu shot for their kids are less likely to take them to a doctor when they're sick. Apparently vaccination rates were also low - only kids who had some other health condition got vaccinated, so it wasn't necessarily looking at healthy kids. I'd be interested in seeing a study done over the next few years, as flu shots become standard treatment.

The thing about elderly people - the flu shot doesn't work quite as well with them, since the immune systems of older people don't work so well. That's part of the reason why they're shifting to vaccinating children -- from a public health perspective, children are the germ carriers, and vaccinating them will reduce the number of vulnerable people (mostly the elderly and very young children) who are exposed to the virus. Does that make sense?

And the thing about vitamin D is just kind of wacky. The flu is more common in the winter because the virus dies quickly when exposed to humidity and heat - therefor it just doesn't spread very much in the summer (and you don't often see the flu in tropical areas!)

I wonder if the 1919 flu really IS dormant. I had a really bad attack of flu about ten years ago, and the doc finally tested to see what bug I actually had. He told me it was the same strain as the Spanish flu which killed so many people. It took me around two months to recover enough to do a normal day's work.
