Has anyone considered the fact that USA Governments have been pushing the banks to provide loans for 'minorities'. That's where it started. Carter began it I believe - Clinton was pushing it heavily too. Everyone had to have a chance to have their own home - even if they could not afford the re-payments. And now we have the mess echoing even in Australia. Thanks for nothing guys.:-)

Sparky is way off base. Dr. Mercola is doing an excellent job and won't be swayed by your rethoric. I would never have learned what I did here if I didn't run across it while looking for health information. This is a site that will wake up many concerned people. We make a big hallbaloo about the genocide in Africa but fail to see it in this country. Yes, between the AMA and the pharmcuetical companies with big bro in their pockets, they are creating silent genocide. Medical errors are the fourth leading cause of death in this country. Did you know that President Reagen had cancer while in office and flew to Germany and had it cured over night with no bad side effects. Did he support alternative medicine in this country?

"Knowledge is power." It takes a long time to gain enough meaning knowledge. But what if you had unlimited funds to buy any knowledge you wanted? Always remember, the rich are not your friends and all politicians are rich. Look around you and everything you see created got there because the poor working stiff built it. The rich bought bad knowledge which caused them financial ruin until we bailed them out, we the tax payers. Earlier some said we pay taxes to pay for the many big bro services. That's baloney! If big bro needs money for anything, all they have to do is print it.

It appears that we never have a choice in electing a president. Its either a Republican or a Democrat who do nothing but fight among themselves. I hope that Ron Paul wins the election. He is not on our ballot so I wrote him in and encourage others to do the same.

What I don't understand and forgive my ignorance is: If there was to be a bailout of banks for the mortgage industry why didn't it work like this? If you had a mortgage for 350,000 and could not pay your mortgage, the house should go up for sale after being bank owned. Say the bank could only get 250,000. The bank would then file some ridiculous paper work to get a supplement via the mortgage bailout for $100,000. to replenish what you could not pay. I think the people who went belly up on their mortgage should have a mark on their credit reports. I don't think it's the Govts responsibility to pay for their homes especially if they are living beyond their means. There should be consequences for wreckless spending as well as predatory lending. If someone was guilty of predatory lending then they should only qualify for a percentage of the bailout. Let them learn from their mistakes. As far as these exorbitant tax breaks, I don't think those should have ever made it to the table.

I for one will not vote for McCain & Palin, Palin who signed a bill for the state of Alaska to go ahead and make an endangered species out of the arctic wolf by permitting hunters to shoot them with rifles from the air, and have their cubs shot in the head doesn't deserve to be in office, much less as VP of the country (but then, maybe they do as look at what our current heads of the country has done for both the country & their people). If you don't care about your environment or the life in it, why would you care for the people you govern?

As far as every citizen casting a vote, I honestly hope that those who don't know the true policies/beliefs of the candidates, or who don't really care, will NOT vote. That way, the votes of those of us who have tried to learn where the candidates truly stand on important issues will count MORE, and not be watered down by ignorant voters. Doing away with the electoral college would be a great idea, too.

us these numbers? Too bad Ron Paul was a little far out, he has some good information and ideas.

Has anyone here gone to apply for food-stamps:? My friend has, as he lost his business during the high fuel charges....it's now his third visit as the lines here in the South are so long. Will his food stamps be taxed, the same way unemployment and disability payments are taxed?

If so, what kind of system are we living under? Un-crowned kings? Are we again the loyal peasants?

Wake me up, this is a nightmare.

Stick to your area of expertise, Dr. Mercola, and you will improve your revenue streams and grow your subscribers. Although I think the bailout was a sorry excuse for incompetent elected leaders in both houses that should be fired and replaced, (don't get me started!) Dr. Mercola should stick to what he does best and is known for; or at lease start a new webite for this political stuff. You turn off people who respect you for your health insights and expertise, and you are violating one of the basic laws of marketing.

Thank YHVH that Dr. Mercola has the guts to let us print all of this. We do have to leave it all up to YHVH for He is in control.

The Federal Reserve isn't even Federally owned. "The Federal Reserve," is just the NAME of the company (that is a bank) who supplies (prints) currency to the United States at INTEREST. Debt can never truly be payed off in the first place as the only way to pay off the interest from the ONLY currency we have (bills printed by The Federal Reserve) is to have The Federal Reserve (A PRIVATELY OWNED BANK) print more money... at INTEREST. This bank is more powerful than you could imagine. If they called in all of their loans they'd wind up owning the country, and then some. Do some homework.

This is only a microcosm of what's to come if you choose to believe God's promises to a nation who was given so much and still refuses to acknowledge the God of the Bible to obey Him and keep HIS commandments and Holy Days. We just returned from a wonderful 8 days of the Feast of Tabernacles with yesterday being The Last Great Day as Jesus says we will keep in the soon coming Kingdom of God. Now for the majority of the world there is to be these counterfeit "traditions" called Halloween and Christmas that have nothing to do with the God of your Bible. Jesus was not born in the dead of winter and His is no longer a helpless just born baby. He is with God and will soon return. We are told that in scripture and people continue to make up their own "traditions" and this does not please our heavenly Father, The creator God of heaven and earth. It's not just about the financial meltdown of this country or the comtamination of our food sources and drinking water or the corruptions of governments and the medical establishment. This is about our creator God's promise to break the pride of our power for our lawlessness. His definition of "lawlessness" is about not keeping HIS Holy Sabbaths and HIS commandments and a nation that is determined to embrace all these "religions" that have absolutely nothing to do with the God of the Bible. God so loved us that He gave us His Son so that through Him we might be saved. But to be saved we must repent (change our minds) and be baptized and allow for a laying on of hands to receive the Holy Spirit to help us to overcome, to know and to understand our Father in heaven and to receive His Son when He returns in power and in glory and start learning about what God says instead of what humans say about Him. He has promised His children eternal life in His Kingdom to those who obey HIM. If the congregation you attend on Sunday is not teaching this, you must walk away from it and find one that does and give the glory to King Jesus.
