Strangely enough this intelligent sounding person (Naomi Wolf) has fallen silent since the presidential election. I really respected her views. Her silence to me means she was only a partisan hack... What a shame. I wish I had never bought her book and increased her finances...

I am very disappointed in Dr. Mercola putting this anti-President Bush trash on his web site. Because this is inauguration day, I thought it was a warning about what was to come under King Obama, who is the One we should fear. President Bush kept the United States safe from attack and another 9-11. The protection will be dropped under Obama, and government expanded to the point of suffocation of our rights and liberties. If Naomi Wolf speaks out against Obama, she will experience first hand what a socialist state does to people like her.

I must say I have been really torn about this whole issue. Everywhere I look the situation seems to be getting more dire and evidence that we are no longer a truly free nation seems to be mounting~ people getting arrested for having natural soap, or natural cures that work etc... I have been really at odds with myself. I grew up with the whole mentality that you get what you attract and that just doesn't make sense to me in this context.First of all, as a culture are we really attracting this? and then on an individual level, is it attracting it to worry about it or to fight against it? Is it more powerful to try and transcend the old paradigm on a personal level ( I know a lot of people who believe this) or to try and find a way to stop it.

And what ways are there to stop it? If you try and tell people about this stuff they get mad and annoyed and think you're paranoid or crazy. I don't see any movements really gaining speed, I don't see protests about the deployment of the first brigade, and now would be the time to do it, before they are on our streets with microwave guns and it's hopelessly too late. People seem so passive; maybe its the fluoride in the water.

I really don't know how I should be responding to this, but I must admit it is making me a little nervous.....

Ms. Wolf leaves one HUGE hole in her argument. The Posse Comitatus Act of 1878. Posse Comitatus makes it ILLEGAL for our troops to be used against our population.

While some of the developments over the past 8 years are cause for concern, none of them have yet resulted in the wholesale abrogation of rights of anyone. Americans are not that stupid, and although we are slowly becoming a nation of sheep, there are still enough rams left that they don't DARE.

I was startled to find a political polemic (screed) on Dr. Mercola's website. This useless garbage is more suitable to the hard left of multi media, the Ophra (?), and the View TV programs.

I am disappointed. This suggests to me that perhaps the Mercola health message should be read more critically. Shameful, upsetting.

Yikes, it scarey to think there are more than two people on this site that thinks the Twin Towers destruction was a government plot. That line is ccommonly pushed by the Islamic extremists who blog frequently on various websites with the attempt to undermine the morale and resolve of America. I think sincere people who believe the US government caused the collapse should investigate who is pushing that train of thought.

Engineering analysis show the collapse was a domino effect which started at the top due to the metal failure from inadequate insulation on the steel girders after the impact and tons of jet fuel burning. How the government was able to recruit Islamic terrorist to hijack all those planes is beyond incredulous.

Joseph Goebbels once wrote, " The English follow the principle that when one lies, one should lie big, and stick to it. They keep up their lies, even at the risk of looking ridiculous."

I think Goebbels statement applies to these conspiracy theories as well.

More and more any mention of things Pres. Bush is doing or not doing leave me feeling depressed or feeling so frightened for the future of our country. I feel that he and his people have destroyed this country. I don't know if it is just pure avarice or ignorance or evil or what it is but it leaves me shaking my head and wondering how people can not care for other people so completely. Power hungry or stupidity? I will never understand. The president is suppose to do things to help the people of this country. I can't even say anymore because I cannot even articulate how I feel about these last 8 years...

You know it is strange when the political comics make more sense than the so called rational voters, or even the politicians. Barak Obama, is new to this, and thus not qualified to be President, in other words a rookie. John McCain has been in the Senate for 24 years, never held a real job, a career politician if you may. Sarah Palin came from out of left field, and if John McCain were to become President, he would likely croak before the end of his first term, and then we would have our first teenie bopper President, who really has no idea what is going on in America, because Alaska is so isolated from the rest of America.

Now I do not know but I think that a man who left his first wife because she was disfigured in an automoblie accident has crooked values, and a man who has seven homes, has no idea what is happening on Main Street America, and likely finds "Joe The Plumber" in reality a joke, and beneith him, and just a campaign slogan.

All of the above is exactly what I am trying to get accross to anyone willing to listen. This is all non sense, designed to keep Americans from asking what these two pathetic individuals what they are going to do about the real problems facing America? Highway robbery, by BIG PHARMA, GMO Foods, and the dangers they present to our health, Health care in general, education, infrastructure, jobs, pensions, and yes our CONSTITUTION. Neither of these two CLOWNS, have made specificreferences as to how and what they intend to do to solve these problems. AMERICA WE ARE IN DEEP DOODOO, and we had better wake up.

It is said George W. Bush's grandfather collaborated with the *** during WW II, and given the way this idot has destroyed our Constitution, and allowed this great debt, to burden us all, I can believe it. Good morning FREEDOMLESS America.
