Have you noticed which industry has funded most programs covering the U.S. election campaign?

re: The Surprising Sponsor of the U.S. Elections

I suggest common sense. Vote with your feet.

If you find the media pushing drugs, turn off the media. You have the right to do that. Do NOT subscribe to the newspaper. THROW AWAY your television set. I don't see drug ads in library books. I don't see them on the tennis court. I don't see them in the woods. I don't see them in the websites I like.

My habits create me. My habits of thought govern my actions. If I spend a significant amount of time viewing their propaganda, it will influence me. It must. I am designed that way. Even if it leaves me angry, I am still thinking about it. Find activities that enliven you instead (like reading Dr. Mercola!).

You didn't pay for those TV specials. Someone else did. Do you really believe they paid that money for your benefit? You are kidding yourself. Of course they want something in return. I can't blame those sponsors, but I don't have to spend my valuable time watching their product. If I watch, they've got me. When I discovered the media was refusing to broadcast anything about Ron Paul in the campaign, I realized whom I was dealing with. I get my news from the Internet. I am choosy. Be careful whose food you eat. Their food might be poisonous. You do have a choice.

Choose activities that leave you stronger, happier and more delighted to be alive. Did the campaign coverage leave you stronger, happier and more delighted to be alive? No? Then TURN IT OFF! Go for a walk!

He created a product that is patented, that stimulates the immune system. Hep. C virus, for instance, is reduced 2/3 in one month.

Then there is Natural Sustained Release Vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant, and garlic tabs, that when crushed, and mixed with applesauce to go down the throat slowly, (for kids, too) have killed strep.

Add Immunity I, a formula that can wipe out allergy symptoms when taken 3-4 in the morning with the first symptoms.

Then there is protein, which is the building block of much of the immune system. Don't short the aminos.

Don't forget probiotics, and there is only one product that is guaranteed 100% in delivery to the colon, instead of being destroyed by our own hydrochloric stomach acid.

Now add the teaspoon a day anti-aging tonic that quickly protects cells from DNA damage, AGE proteins that cause aging, protects the cells' pathways and generates new mitochondria for phenomonal energy and vitality. Great for diabetes, protection of the blood vessels, has reduced PSA in men in 6 weeks, saving awful 'biopsies', etc.

There is hope. You have to trust the right people. It's not Big Pharma.

I agree with you on the Colloidal silver a hundred percent. I have my own machine and bought a book that is very specific about what type, etc...The "you'll turn blue" is a scare tactic like you said and occurs with silver salts. People die from mis-use of aspirin but it doesn't get pulled from the market. Someone mis-uses silver in the wrong form, and it's valid form is vilified. Use the right form correctly and it's amazing. Once I ate some Tilapia in a restaurant and 4 hours later I got sick. I"d never had a problem with restaurant food despite all the stories. I experimented by buying some Tilapia in the grocery store and by jove, I started feeling sick about a half hour later. Prepared, I took some colloidal silver, of the correct type, and a half hour later, I was fine. If it was an allergy, I don't think the colloidal would have worked since allergies are a system thing. So while I extol colloidal silver, on the side, it made me wonder about Tilapia!

Could it be that Dr. Mercola and many other Americans are living in places where the drug companies are pushing their products, and you (to your great good fortune) are not? Or perhaps your television viewing habits are different than some others? (A&E or PBS vs CTV or Fox?) Who have you seen sponsoring the election advertising where you live?

I'm in Canada and my family chooses not to subscribe to cable TV, so I haven't seen any of U.S. election advertising.

I'm from New Zealand and am honestly sick to death of seeing so many ad's for anti-histamines, paracetamol, and god know's what else being advertised during 'prime-time' i.e. when the family and many people are sitting in front of the television swallowing whatever the news is throwing at them that day! And naturally, these ad's are presented by 'nice, clean, healthy looking people (usually women)' who you 'can trust' because they've got white straight teeth and unblemished skin.....what a load of bollocks! You don't see anyone advertising the health benefits of herbal products because: you're not allowed to make health claims around herbal and nutritional supplements......but its ok to say that all your hayfever symptoms and pain will be relieved by X-drug and Y-drug.....the bias is astounding! Herbal and nutritional supplements aren't even allowed to mention on their own packaging or promotional material that they will provide relief for a condition- its all 'may help' or 'may be beneficial in'. One-eyed, narrow-minded, mediacentric society is well passed its used by date, though i'm sure there's enough synthetic preservatives injected in it to try and keep it going for alot longer....

When were they bought out? We have lost our rights as American citizens in so many areas, and it's because of the corporate ties to government. If you look up the definition of fascist, you will be a bit more informed. I don't even watch tv anymore because it's empty, and yet, full of drug commercials for the trusting, unaware folk.

Sad commentary on America. Food supplementation is now not an option, either, as the grocery stores are almost devoid of nutrition. We have irradiated, genetically altered, processed, laden with pesticide/herbicide antibiotic/hormone products to choose from. Try to find anything of value in most grocery stores. I read where aspartame is even being added to sugar. Great business for the medical field's care or 'management' of prescribing drugs, and then surgery, chemo and radiation. Most are in denial, or slog along, hoping someone will 'fix it'.

On a happier note: there are still companies who produce organic, pure natural alfalfa, multi-vitamins, vitamin C, protein powder and bars, antioxidants to fight cancer, diabetes, protect and repair DNA and damaged cells, etc. Even though the supplement industry is not regulated, and many get ripped off with poor products, lead in their vitamins, etc., I associate with one that has integrity. Best to you. leangreencafe@yahoo.com

I also am grateful for people like Dr. Mercola that have the caring and courage to inform others.
