Living in an apartment, it seems to me that if my hour on the eliptical each day was connected to spinning a few turbines, I would generate more than enough energy to make me energy independent. I'd think this is a win/ win since people are motivated to exercise to save money, curbing the obesity epedemic, and reducing greenhouse gasses. Why don't we hear anything about human power? Even if the technology isn't there, remember just a few decades ago it took a computer a block long to do what can now be done on the head of a pin. We're all generating a lot of electricity when we exercise, why isn't Life Fitness trying to harness it?

Unless he has improved the efficiency of the solar cell or fuel cell, there is nothing new here! Photovoltiacs have been around for decades. Producing hydrogen and oxygen from water can be done by anyone with a cup of water, some empty containers and a power source. The cost and efficiencies involved with current technologies makes this a poor way to power anything except remote locations where running power lines is too expensive.

However, efficient solar energy production IS the ONLY viable long term solution to our energy needs.

If ever there was a victim of big industry smear tactics and attempted writing out of history it was this man, and we owe him plenty. Think the lightbulb was invented by Edison? Think again...

It is portable (or at least it can be taken down and moved). He got tax rebates and a triple discount and it cost him around $12,000. He gets all his electricity, air conditioning etc. for free, and a small check from $5 to $50 each month from the power company. Since life in the next decade is going to be very different we need to get with this ASAP. As far as Tesla's invention, and as the 1998 movie CHAIN REACTION dramatically showed, free energy is to radical to allow on the world scene. While it would be a boon to civilization on this planet it would upset the apple cart of the powers that be and has apparently been suppressed each time it has been "reinvented'. Perhaps after WWIII what's left of the world will be allowed to use this and we might even eliminate starvation. After all we cannot rape the planet forever or we will have no place to live. As it is we have just begun to experience the current economic downturn and ULTIMATELY IT WILL BE WORSE THAN THE GREAT DEPRESSION. I do not feel qualified to give any short term advice except to have your money in something real, and to keep your cupboard full of non-perishable foods, if at all possible, and if someone invent's something please keep your mouth shut and don't try to get rich from it. Just share it with your friends. A 100 mpg auto was 'invented' in England over 20 years ago and it carried 3 people at over 100 mph. It had no fancy hybrid technology just a 3 cylinder turbo-charged engine and extremely low air resistance. Undoubtedly it was bought for a lot along with a non-disclosure agreement. Remember, even Howard Ruff has said, extra food is better than money in the bank, when the inflation of the recent give-aways comes to bear, or words to that effect. There is much to learn to survive the scarcity of the future but there is time if we get busy and don't waste it. May God bless us all. No one else is going to do so.

They are not allowed to drill for more oil anywhere they KNOW there is lots more oil/gas in the US but are sworn to secrecy by the US gov't re this oil & gas (200 - 300 yrs. supply). In addition, the gov't forbids the development of the Green river , Baakan, and other US tar sands (another potential ca. 200 yr supply). The gov't is petrified that the major foreign oil producers will go off the dollar standard for oil thus eliminating the ca. 45 yr old agreement to purchase of the US national debt w/ 30% of the oil profit (for 30 yrs) if we replace their income w/ our own oil. But the agreement to defend them will also go away so the M/I complex is involved too. Gov't's support of global warming appears to be part of the smoke and mirrors too.

I've been following this so called free energy thing for 15 yrs. Beardon has nothing but talk, lots of it. HHO is just a mix of H2 and O2 and appears to work by improving combustion thus upping the efficiency of IC engines enough to compensate for the electrolysis energy consumed. People that really do appear to be on the path to something promising APPEAR to be intimidated by thugs but ????.

There is one FACT that is eminently clear when it comes to the gov't, M/I complex, and the money institutions behind the them; "THE ARE DIFFERENT AT EVERY LEVEL" and no one below the upper levels has any clue what the real truth is, including me.

Earth has an abundant quanity of all 3 and they are free, we only need to efficiently convert them to our uses, which is now being done on a small scale but will soon be done on even larger a scale.

The problem is, as mentioned in a previous remark there is no profit for the big energy producers with these forms of energy, but the pendelum is swinging slowly in favor of the masses and eventually those that are determined to continue ripping us off and lining thier pockets with our money will be eliminated.

We have the technology, we can now run our cars on hydrogen, anyone can convert thier present vehicle to run partly on HHO (water) for $300, and power our homes on wind or sun, it is being done now. It is just a matter of being cost effective and doing the conversion on a large scale which is not far off.

Once the masses wake up and say enough is enough the energy giants will no longer be able to suppress these technologies and when that happens the Earth and its population will be better off.
