The people reading this newsletter are on the leading edge of reforming the food and health environments for our nation but I wonder how many of them are infomed about their most important ability to change our laws. Every juror has the ability to help change bad law. Please see http://www.fija.org/ and read the juror's handbook. With a little effort we can put a stop to this junk and corruption that keeps us from being treated as free people. If you don't know your rights then you don't have any.

We have a much bigger problem. We live in a police state governed by criminals who want to have total control over their "citizens". Freedom is melting aware right before our subconscious eyes.

I have never had a positive interaction with law enforcement and I've never had a need to utilize their "services" for anything. I respect my own freedom and that of my neighbors and I take the responsibility of protecting myself and my property into my own hands. As far as I'm concerned, the police force should be drastically reduced and restructured to work solely on violent crimes and crimes that infringe upon other's rights. If Thomas Jefferson and George Washington were alive today, they would not recognize the police state that is the USA.

Expect the attacks to get much worse. With the selection of Henry Waxman as head of the House Commerce Committee. He and his pals Durbin and Kennedy have been trying to get the vitamins, herbs, etc., banned and under the thumb of the FDA for years and have ramped it up in the past two years along with what we eat. He will have a nanny state of the week story released to their media pawns to keep us on pins and needles, until we are begging them to save us from ourselves. I can see that those of you who are "against the war on drugs" has never had a close family member be addicted to a "severe" drug. Maybe Pot is not so bad, but when you look at meth, there is no "they put what they want in their bodies it should be their own business" - sorry, don't believe it. There are too many people who get hurt in the process with a meth user.

That said, I believe the police are doing their jobs. What is failing us is the drug test that is used. Find another test. There should also be compensation for anyone who is arrested solely on the grounds of this test. If one test fails, two more alternative tests should be performed before arrested. It is probably security policy that the do the initial test and then arrest people. Our system may be flawed, that may be true, but the flawed system also comes from people who point fingers and blame everybody else. Why not say, "let me see what I can do to help this situation."

They just need to legalize or at least decriminalize all drugs or at least marijuana. If that happened I would not have a criminal record. I got a couple Marijuana posseion charges and they search my house even though there was no warrent and followed my wife around walking my kids to the school bus!! And I never sold it only boughtit and smoked it!! Real crime must be really going down even in the inner-city mostly Black neighborhood we live in. I dont think the government has any right to regulate what you put in your body as long as you dont hurt another person(and my kids are fine) and your at least 18 or 21. That's what I like about the Green Party (although I dont think they have any chance in winning a national or statewide election,so I vote Democratic for President, Governor, Senator, and Congressperson, although my city alderman is a member of the Green Party, and supported his campaign by volunteering, I also volunteered for the Obama campaign.) I tend to favor the natural products so I better prepare when I take my family to Atlanta to see my mom for Christmas at the airport. The police and all the alphabet boys(ATF,CIA,FBI,and especially the DEA,which should be abolished)are corrupt alonfg with dept of corrections putting otherwise innocent people in jail so they gotta keep making new jails to hold real criminals like murderers, rapists, theives,etc. The war on drugs was a failure for us but good for cops & gov't. Why are cigarettes & alcohol legal when both kill way more than weed? There is no such thing as THC poisioning but you can get cancer from cigarettes and get alchol poisoning. Then they go and say I'm a "drug addict" when I only occasionally smoke weed and never used anything else dont even smoke cigarettes and occasionally drink! This is so stupid if you think about it

Hell, I get enough of it if I even walk my dog around my well-lit quiet neighborhood block between 9pm and 12am. Followed home to the DOOR on two occasions. Do you know how degrading that is? My girlfriend thought I was nuts because I thought I had to put on a nicer shirt and shave before going out -- got forbid if I went out unshaven the suspicion that would be aroused.

I'm sure my neighbors felt safer to know I wasn't free to "case their joint" while fidgeting with a small hound dog and a poop bag in one hand. I was the one they should be keeping safe so I am free to safely do such things. Next time, I'll have to carry around a doctor's note excusing my right to get a bit of minimal exercise before bed if I ever try to think about winding down with a calm walk. Why did I spend my life working so I could move into an area with sidewalks and lights and quietness if I can't use it for what I had intended -- A calming walk on a beautiful night to reduce stress?

It also makes me feel all warm, safe, and coushy to know they are there to prevent scum like me from sitting on a park bench at the pond reading a book with a throrough backpack search (full of books, pens, a camera, etc) because they heard people have been poaching "turtles" from the duck pond. Just in case I had a "turtle" in the 2 inch pouch on the front of my camera pouch (with camera inside) before being asked to pick up someone else's litter I had unknowingly been sitting above. The next day, upond asking the station where I could direct a written complaint to was like trying to sell a 5 year old an encyclopedia set, so I gave up and just went with the newspaper.

God forbid I wear something other than plain colored clothes and not have short hair and glasses -- oh wait -- THAT fits "the profile" too..so I'm screwed no matter what I do, right? Luckily, I have lived in areas absent of this garbage where law enforecement had their hands full with REAL problems and would love to do so again ASAP

All those that have been arrested because of this field kit, should file a class action suit on the company making them, like the veterans did agasinst the company that made AO. IF YOU WANT THIS TO STOP, DON'T HIDE FROM IT. TAKE IT TO COURT. sUE THEM FOR ALL THE MONEY YOU HAVE LOST.

That is the only way this will be solved. The police don't care to learn the difference. To them, organics is just a joke. To them, learning the difference is a burden and a waste of their time.

Oops, I guess I was lucky to be taking AMTRAK last summer when I went to visit my family in Maryland while carrying my Dr. Bronner's liquid soap. I was not aware that it could be mistaken for GHB or any other illegal drug for that matter.

I feel that pressure should be brought to bear on our law enforcement agencies to accurately test suspicious materials by publicizing all the horrendous mistakes in the news media on a regular basis since little can be done using other legal tactics.

Interestingly, if a clearly specific product turned positive on drug screening tests, should'nt one simply ask to run the test on the products on the shelves they came from, then they would have to put the owner of the store who sold the product in jail too !

And if it happend to be a nation wide brand, so many shop owners would have to be put in jail !

So, people are put in jail for natural products and good chocolate, but the guys who wanted to kill African Americans and the pres. elect get to enter "not guilty" pleas and have very public and long drawn out trials and press coverage...

Tyson chicken people come up with different words to say the same lies and don't even get a fine for possibly poisioning millions if people, but I have a box of baking soda inspected, ripped apart and wasted when I was pulled over for a sobriety test in NY.....YES, a clearly marked BOX- and NO- I dont drink-havent had alco in 13 years, not even champagne. Test was for nothing, just to fill a quota , I guess.

Vaccines are pushed on people , I'm sorry, SHEEPLE, and the flu shot is administered in SUPERMARKETS!! here in Maine, the store workers get to stand outside the store and smoke and smoke and smoke their ciggs, making clouds of noxious fumes I have to walk through. But, I get reprimanded by an eye doctor for not taking that damn eye test where they put a drop in your eye that makes you throw up and stumble around so they can see if you have a need for 1800.00 glasses!

Well, I guess I was rambling, sorry about that but there is something wrong here, folks!

Number one, you should not have to prove you are innocent in the United States. You ARE innocent until you are proven GUILTY. Although this maxim is not found anywhere in the founding documents of our country, all law is predicated upon it. Too bad we as a people are moving from what was once a free society, to one where almost everything is governed by fear and suspicion. These are first steps toward becoming a dictatorship. Things are what they are. Be wise and be careful.
