A horse has no pre-concieved opinons on this issue so it is interesting to watch their response (very honest) to a treatment (ie very hypnotic state). Certain frequencies of lasers are as effective as needles or touch.

Acupuncture requires more practice, therefore it is not 'easy to sell' as video or book. To say acupressure is as effective as acupuncture is not correct. First acuprssure is only good for acupoint which are close to the surface.

Of course no explanation was given for the headaches which I have had since Nov 19 2008. I was offered a painkiller which I refused. I am trying reflexology and reiki in my healing process and I do feel better and relaxed afor a few hours. As to if it will heal I will have to see how it goes.

I have now decided to look into EFT after reading an article where it said one of the things Israel uses at a Trauma Center was EFT. If Israel uses it, it must work! Living with daily trauma is the daily hell many Israelis endure. 10,000 Gaza Jews were kicked out of Gaza for "peace", surrendering Jewish land & assets to those who fired over 6,000 rockets into their Jewish communities. Peace? Rocket barrages are now constantly fired from the Jew-cleansed areas of Gaza into Sderot and Ashkelon and other areas; rockets fired especially when kids are going to school and adults to work. How do Israelis live such hell on earth? And how do they live with the extreme trauma of the world demanding they give half their tiny land to barbaric, implacable enemies? This is why I am now looking into EFT, if Israel uses it for their severely traumatized, it must work!

Although at 48 yrs. old, I still maintain an excellent body mass index of 18.0 (5 ft. 4 in. / 105 lbs.) and have never had an illness or infection, I often feel like my lungs are constricted and my circulation could stand some improvement - mainly whenever I've gotten less than seven hours of sleep that day. I find that whenever I get my foot reflexology treatments, my lungs suddenly open up extremely well and I feel the blood circulating throughout my entire body better than it does during aerobic exercise sessions. The effect seems to stay with me for several days in a row, so I would happily pay for foot reflexology sessions every week if I could afford to do it that frequently.

It is an ancient oriental Art of harmonizing life energy within the body. In the early 1900's by Master Jiro Murai, who, after recovery from a "terminal" illness, devoted himself to the revival of the Art for future generations.

One of Jiro Murai's few students, Mary Burmeister, brought the gift of Jin Shin Jyutsu, physio-philosophy, to the USA, after studying with him for 5 years. She kept in contact with him after returning, thus continuing her own understanding of this amazing art for 17 years, before sharing it with others. It has been responsible for saving & changing the health & wellbeing of millions of people throughout the world.

This wonderful & unique healing art has had many versions come to pass under similair names, due to copyright issues. However the fact remains that is the original art as taught by Murai.

There are two important distinctions between Jin Shin Jyutsu and many other massage and oriental healing modalities to which it is often compared.

First, Jin Shin Jyutsu is an art, as opposed to a technique; a technique is a mechanical application, whereas an art is a skillful creation.

Second, Jin Shin Jyutsu is not a physical manipulation of tissue and uses only minimal pressure. The hands are used as "jumper cables," contacting 26 "safety energy locks" to redirect, or unblock the flow of energy along its pathways.

Practitioners of Jin Shin Jyutsu assist in the flow of an infinite supply of universal energy. Though somewhat like acupuncture, it requires no needles, only the gentle application of the hands. I have personally used to balance mental, emotional & physical conditions with great success, on people of all ages & all states of health & on animals as well. More info & self help can be found through:

These include laser, needles, finger pressure, microcurrents. Sometimes acupressure will work well as described in this article. Stimulating P6, which is the primary point for nausea, can be stimulated well with pressure most of the time. In other cases such as piriformis syndrome, a long needle is used to reach the piriformis muscle and electroacupuncture is appled. The treatment is very effective for this stubborn problem, usually resolving within 1-3 treatments. Treating without Electroacupuncture is far inferior and in most case ineffective. A blanket statement that acupuncture without needles is just as effective is not even close to being correct. It all depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

1. Hum on a low frequency while tap. (activates the Vagus nerv)

2. Tap in a Waltz rhytm like 1-2-3, 1-2-3 about 2 taps per second dont do rapid tapping

3. close your eyes while tap and hum. (deactivates the sympathetic nervous system and activates the parasympathetic nervous system which is one of the main goal here.

This is thought by the miracolous Dr Klinghardt the developer of Autonomic Response Testing and it incudes this kind of tapping called Mental Field Therapy MFT. I,m not sure about placebo but we used HRV biofeedback device on clients without letting them know what was going on and it was clearly shown on HRV result that it works very well. And it does all the time.

BTW Dr Klinghardt received the Physician of the Year award from the Global Foundation of Integrative Medicine in May 2007 I love his work very much.

Peace.

I had had pain and weakness in my lower right back for a whole year following several days of lying sick in bed. Just a few minutes working on the correct foot area cleared it up. I have also found on my own acupressure points to relieve menstrual pain, severe coughing, and other problems. I have a good friend who is a marvel at helping people anywhere and everywhere using finger pressure points. They are so astonished when the pain goes away.

Something working without a known cause? It works, it works.

That said I have used EFT on people who do not know what I am doing and without any words and seen results.

Hypnotherapy - offers evidence that the mind is very powerful. Absolutely there are mind components in EFT, that is why it is so powerful. It mixes working with meridians with working with the mind. Both have shown great results.

I have seen many people who do not believe it will work get results as well as many people who don't know what you are doing.

The ego challenges things it doesn't understand - I look at results. If it is all in the mind, so be it. Results talk.
