Frankly, if people are going to be so stupid as to put bizarre and unnatural substances into their bodies, I'm not going to have much sympathy when they get sick. The ones I care about are the innocent children being fed this poison. It's ironic that you risk having your children taken from you if you home school them, but you can load them up with junk "food" and vaccines and allow them to spend hours in front of the TV or playing video games and you're considered a responsible parent!

the great state of confusion (NY) has just instituted a new tax plan (not a tax or budget cut) that will not only make milk more expensive, but will also make regular soda mre expensive as well. I'm not an advocate of soda at all, but this will probably cause more people to consume nutrawseet in what is claimed to be an effort to improve health. I wonder what pharma-type-loby helped to push this idea???

Several comments. First, if the shoe fits ..... Second of all, please show me where I am defensive. I was simply responding to OhSoAAngelxox's comment that I keep my mind opinions to myself. I stand by my original assertion. MANY, BUT NOT ALL!!, of the people of this thread exhibit a paranoid attitude and seem afflicted with hypochondrial mental disorders. I referenced not only this discussion, but the one on fish oil supplements, etc. etc. Again my point is the angst and hand-wringing is just as damaging - mentally and physiologically - as the actual ingestion of some of these substances. Agree or disagree?

I think you'll agree with me if you reread some of these dialogues with an open mind. Finally, I'm not here to be tactful nor to make friends per se. I'm here to stimulate discussion. Please let me know if you'd like further clarification. Cheers!

Good point! I would argue pyschosomania is a symptom and not the underlying cause. Perhaps the low serotonin levels are the cause? - not sure. These people would due better to improve their diets, exercise and use EFT to rid themselves of undue negativity.

The FDA will not take a fair look at the situation because baby bush and his gang of thieves think only about their pocketbooks and nothing about the citizens of America. This market represents an aweful lot of money and our corrupt govenment has a choice, but they are on the money side and it's all about money. The fact that the Federal Drug Administration is supposed to protect it's citizens from harms way, but because of their greed they are allowing Big Business to poison uneducated Americans. THIS IS A CRIME OF MAJOR PROPORTIONS. How many people will have to get sick and die from this product.

It is all about education so thank you Dr. Joseph for your efforts. We must tell as many people as possible abouth these dangers.

Please read my response to Julieanne. No "issue". My POINT is that there are SOME hypochondriacs on here whose illness can be traced back to pyschosomatic roots. The fretting over Aspartame becomes more of a problem than the substance itself. I'm not advocating aspartame use nor am I advocating synthetic cleaners. I do posit that SOME of you people sometimes work yourself into a lather over RELATIVELY trivial matters. I know that is an unpopular opinion on this thread, but so be it.

EFT anyone?

Let me qualify. SOME of you people are hypochondriacs. I do understand there are sick people on this site. IMO, however, a PORTION of their ill health due to psychosomatic factors. Have you read the good Doctor's thread about cod liver oil? OMG, you should see the angst! People are stressing about whether they should throw away their cod liver oil or take the krill oil. Or should they use fish oil? Or should they derive their nutrients from whole foods? My contention is that they're doing themselves infinitely more harm stressing over relatively trivial matters.

As for why I'm here? Probably the same reason as you Julieanne. I think there is some worthwhile information here. I just don't blindly follow orthodox opinion. If that offends or threatens you, feel free to vote me down as many times as possible - that won't deter me from speaking my mind.
