I am a huge fan of meebo and have been for over a year - I was thrilled they added support for facebook chat a couple weeks ago - I will definitely check out some of the other links on this list! thanks for the suggestions, and for having a great source of health information for the modern age.

How did he miss Evernote?

I don't feel a pressing need for anything on the list, but I use similar software for most of those things. Always good to check out new stuff, though.

Cool stuff and worth checking out, but one of the above, Ning website which allows you to create your own social network has in the past had some problems, I was a member of one a few months back and at that time they shut down the member data base and certain 3rd party features that were dependant for of several of the sites to operate. This was done without any notice to those that established the network, it caused a major uproar at the time. A lot of hours of work by those that were developing a social network went down the drain. To be fair in my comment apperantly they have solved the problem but in the meantime they lost some of there following at that time. I just wanted to warn those that may particpate in developing a social network, which is time consuming, that the owners have demonstrated in the past little regard for its participants and may do things that may wipe out your efforts.

FOR THOSE MEMBERS OF THE " L P GENERATION " ( or collectors of L Ps ) -- I just heard of a software available that permits you to IMPUT the sound output from your record player directly into your P C via an RCA jack inserted into the MIC port of your P C --- and then the PROGRAM allows you to select the soundtracks you want to burn on a C D ---- and it even " cleans up " the unwanted " noise " common to record players --- the person said it was called --- L P RECORD -- and was available at stores that specialize in electronic stuff --- and probably also over the internet ---- has anyone else tried it ? Hm, I spoke too soon. Hubby might be interested in AnywhereFM (I some how skipped over that one.) We have so much on our dedicated server and he likes to remote access it to share music with others. Having a program like this would give him more options.

Hi, I love a lot of the stuff on the site that isn't "health only" - especially time management and web stuff. I've always - from childhood on - been interested in alternative health stuff, which is what made me glad to subscribe to the site. These additional things are an added benefit, for me - coming from, it seems, a desire to share the good things found. Generosity.

This time, I'm especially grateful for the mention of Ning - I've heard of it several times. This time I will check it out.

I'm definitely going to give some of this stuff a try. It never ceases to amaze me that we even have the internet, and with all the extras I'm finding, the internet is the best present I have ever received, thanks to my "last but not least" son. ;-)

...you need to give yourself some light pow-pow on the back of your hand and then scroll back up and check this stuff out.

These tools are awesome. I didn't know about any of it. But now that I do I can clearly see how they'll make my life dreamier.
