I recently had a bout with sciatica. Dr. out of town so I went to urgent care. They MADE me get 6 x-rays, because it is mandated that if they THINK you may have back trouble they want to make sure you don't have bone cancer. Turns out that at 70 yrs old I have absolutely nothing wrong with my bones or spinal column which they say practically everyone over 40 has. Those x-rays (after Medicare cost me over $250. and were unnecessary.

Otherwise I take no meds, have tons of energy and do not feel dizzy and out of breath from the BP meds I dropped. The pharmacy and Dr. constantly make me feel anxiety over not taking BP medicine and what will happen to me if I stop it (which I did anyway).

I need some advice. I take a lot of vitamins and magnesium and a lot of Vit D, and enzymes. Maybe I need turmeric, CoQ10 and Taurine.

Thanks in advance.

(I don't cater, by the way - it adds to the cost). As a former patient who suffered for 11 1/2 years, now that I'm well and no longer disabled, I want that for other sufferers as well and refuse to take the medical insider attitude that it's all about the money and only the money. Americans need to wake up to the truth that we don't LEAD the way in medicine anymore and if a huge part of the medical community have their way, the only treatments that come our way will be VERY expensive and time consuming. Treatments that work safely and quickly scare EVERY practitioner other than those truly committed to healing first, money second. If they could just realize that by being the best, the word will spread and people will come! Those who do not get their patients to optimum health will lose out ultimately. Any health practitioner should work toward putting themselves out of business by 'curing' all their patients. We know they won't actually be able to 'cure' everyone because people will always have health problems and accidents will happen, but that should be the goal. Rather than relying on the closed-book system with the same patients constantly being 'treated', there should be new faces brought in because patients are maintaining their health and therefore, recommending the practitioner who helps them do that. I salute all those who want to KEEP patients well!

No more swelling in my ankles (once I started sleeping on an airbed...no compression of my body-i'm heavy), no more heart palps. I had vertigo, same thing, doc found no reason. I took a few benedryl in case my inner ear was getting something (i did feel stuffy in my ear), then I went to chiro, and he adjusted my neck. No more vertigo. To think I wasted my money and my insurance money on stupid tests. Education, this website and others, educated yourself and I was able to help myself. I also did soak my feet in epsom salts too.

This miracle mineral called magnesium chloride is truly a Godsend. For anyone out there in cyber land that is suffering from just about any malady please and I mean "PLEASE READ THE BOOK TRANSDERMAL MAGNESIUM" BY MARK SIRCUS Ac., OMD. Over seventy percent of us are magnesium deficient. You should be able to rent it out from your local library or it can be purchased outright from any bookstore or Internet website. Just goggle "transdermal magnesium" and you will find it. My dad died of Parkinson's last spring. He lived to be to the ripe old age of ninety years old. He had the usual symptoms of Parkinson's shaking hands, stiff muscles, lack of dopamine production etc. I did not know of this miracle mineral until just a few months ago. I am sure without a shadow of a doubt that magnesium chloride would have helped him immensely. Educate yourselves about the benefits of this great product. I am currently using it and am just about done with the book.

I know we need to change the medical system as it currently stands. The many evil practices done by our medical doctors "whether with or without good intentions" must come to an end. We should gather together in the streets, organize and march to demand change. In every State and in Washington D. C. as well. We all know the reasons why they " the medical elite and those that profit from it continue in there destructive ways". There is money in promoting death. The laws that prevent doctors from prescribing natural medicines must be changed. It is time for a new awakening so please go out and educate yourselves and lobby your politicians to bring this about or vote them the hell out of office.

Opinions are personal and whenever a medic ventures outside of his professionalism s/he is personally accountable for any harm or mistake so it becomes easy and safer to hide behind one's professional status. While discretion accounts for a large part of a physician's work and provides a greater degree of job satisfaction it is however a questionable area that can cause confusion and difficulty. It sounds here as if we are trying to shoot the messenger.

Apple Cider Vinegar, garlic apple etc. for my stomavh. This together with Undistiled Vinegar for cleansing cleared my yeast infection caused by the steroids. The Vinegar also cured a planters wart for my son. A DNA lab in USA did an allergy test and sent me homeopathic remedies. This is my first time into homeopathy and I am hesistant to consume any pills given the damage already done to me by the traditional medics and medications. Such as: "Doctors aren’t interested in disease prevention" , "If Americans become healthier, there will be fewer jobs. Maybe this is why modern medicine drags its feet when it comes to preventive medicine."

While profit has been a motivation in the direction modern medicine has taken, there is not a conscious decision to make America sick by the medical establishment . Drug company executives take statin drugs when their cholesterol levels are high. Many doctors self medicate.

There is a long history of bias against the importance of nutrition in health. This bias is perpetuated by professional people who sincerely believe on the importance of drugs and conventional medicine to help people live longer. Attacking the medical industry with statements like above only creates walls and marginalizes the nutrition industry. Vitamin D is a good example that the medical industry actually cares. While slow to gain acceptance, it's importance to health is finally being advocated by many doctors. Until med schools start teaching the science of nutrition along with biochemistry, it will be hard to convince many doctors of its value.
