Here are some examples of what the recession means for specific things. 1. Spam Business is booming for meat substitute Spam.
I can guarantee you that no one in this forum, or any of the general public had anything to do with the derivatives bubble or its collapse.

The collapse did not come from people defaulting on mortages, since only a little over 1% of the mortgages in existence were in danger of default, and those could have had the ENTIRE amount paid off by King Paulson with the first 900 billion he was given, and still have about 800 billion left over for graft and bribes to Congress.

This collapse was created directly by the FED, and the financial biggies in Wall Street, who decided to pull the biggest heist in history.

Prior to Reagan, derivatives of any kind were illegal, since a early form of derivatives (and speculative paper connected to food) resulted in the bubble that caused the 1929 crash, and all the regulation made by President Roosevelt was done just to stop a repeat of that collapse.

The international bankers and uber-wealthy decided that they could corner the market for all land, food, mortages, and property of all kinds by removing the limits of the New Deal and de-regulating all manner of financial instruments and banking so they could create a titanic bubble of wealth.

This wealth would be used to BUY UP all saleable assets, including all land in the United States, through the mortgage market, all the gold, silver, and mineral and oil assets, and all the business property everywhere in the world.

The basically one quadrillion in derivative money that was created by all the world banks in credit to do this property heist, was used to buy virtually all the world's actual wealth and concentrate it in the hands of the FED owners, and international bank owners.

This virtual money, which is unable to exist in the real world, since it is more than the value of all land, money, food, business, and human organs of all people everywhere, is now the source of all the world debt, directly or indirectly, and so the favored banker few were able to get all goods everywhere, but leave the debt to the planet's public.

Once the goods were bought, the derivative market, which could not sustain as a bubble, began to collapse, and, as it imploded, the public began to realize that all human wealth was either owed to the banks and FED through mortgages and debt, and there was no money or credit to pay this virtual debt.

The fiat currency of all nations are now facing a total collapse, since no public wealth can service the debt that is required to keep the money systems working, and no financial market can do anything, since the property is owned by people who do not want to sell, and buyers who cannot get credit to buy anything.

The banks also have no motivation to loan any money, since they own everything, directly or indirectly, so the only oney in the economy is that small amount of actual cash that people kept in their piggy banks or wallets.

The FED and international bankers now can call due all mortgages and loans, and throw the ENTIRE public out of their homes, and leave them homeless, and seize the lands of those who own land, by having them unable to pay property taxes due to no money, so the government can then seize land, and sell them to the banks, with the banks paying nothing, since the governments owe them money too.

If the super wealthy were invading aliens from another planet, they could not come up with a better plan to destroy humanity. We face the possibility of all humanity being put on the road like hoboes and homeless, while the mad rich sit on a planet full of empty homes and factorys that they cannot use, but still own.

Greed, and criminal manipulation of the insanely rich got us to this point, and I refuse to blame myself or the public for the actions of banker and FED lunatics.

Maybe the psychic hot lines are, but local psychics and psychic shops are seeing less and less profit. I can't count on two hands how many psychic shops I've seen go out of business in the last two years including internet shops. When I do get a client, most of them want it for free as if I'm a christian minister -who by the way gets paid by his congregation and can afford to give free advice. The only businesses doing well are gun shops. This is a good thing. What scares me how many people on this list support socialistic answers to the problems we have. Our one and only hope is to remove all the socialists in DC, have them tried for treason and then hold new paper ballot elections for a Constitutional congress with no one who holds titled nobility allowed to be on the ballots.

It's impossible to make up a trillion dollars from thin air and not have to hurt everyone who already has a dollar. It's the monetary policy that's going to push consumer good prices up.

Meanwhile, the silver lining is this: if you have a solution to a problem worth solving, someone will want to buy it. My income has actually gone up slightly in the last few months for that reason.

Then they turn around and use this vast excess to continue to enslave us. Economic warfare is highly effective and hard to fight against as it uses societies indoctrinated emotions (greed, self worth on the materialistic level, hypnotic stupefying entertainment,) against itself!

This is what they can do just with the economy, thing about health, religion, blind faith in dogma and trying to take God out of Man... We must first take down this system by removing our support for it! (Not an easy thing to do!). Then we must rise up and take hold of our authentic spiritual powers that have been censored from us... As the old quote goes, "The greatest weapon in the hands of the oppressor, is the mind of the oppressed."

Life is not an eternal search for God; Life is an eternal expression of God.

We have so much potential, this never fails to give me a positive outlook on life, no matter what the circumstances.

That also means, we need to control advertising. Advertising is causing people to spend more. The government needs to step in and limit ads, especially fraudulent and misleading ones.

2nd step towards the solution: The people profiting from this crisis (the money is going somewhere, right?) need to stop their robberies and share their wealth with the rest. Wealth needs to be redistributed equally. The government needs to play an essential role. It needs to regulate the market better, so the richest don't get richer and the middle class doesn't get poorer. Bailing out the banks just gives more money to the rich ones.

It's total BS that the big banks are struggling, it's all a big fat lie. Most big corporations, including the big banks are doing better than ever with highest ever profits, but they led us to believe they are struggling so we give them more money and make them richer. This is the biggest scam in recent earth history! This needs to stop right way!

The minimum wage + overall wages needs to go up, the big corporations need to be open with their books. We need to hold the people in charge of the corporations accountable. There needs to be a cap on how much a single person can earn. Banks and lenders need to stop lending money to people who cannot pay it back.

The whole market and money system needs to be revamped.

Maybe so, but what about an alternative explanation: as unemployment increases, people are finally beginning to live within their means...because they have to? We're told to go out and shop to help this staggering economy. But wait - isn't rampant consumerism what got us up to our ears in debt in the first place? Houses we couldn't afford, car loans we couldn't manage, instant gratification without responsibility? Please tell me how borrowing MORE money FROM OURSELVES to mail us all more checks so we can go out and continue spending is not a mixed message....
