Let me venture a guess as to the state of mind of Lesle Stahl. She is depressed, that is for sure.

She looks like she's going to cry a lot of the time. I know the probable reason, but still...

Her and Katie Couric have a lock on the female 60 minutes job and, IMO, neither should have that job.

To their credit they do let real reporters like the British blond who reports from and on Iraq every now and then.

I don't care what color her hair is but she is a real reporter who actually knows and

cares about the thing she reports on. It also means she has the curiosity and nerve

which Couric & Stahl never had. BTW, do you think when they have their closeups

& they try to match facial expression to the question that there is anyone except

the cameraman in front of her? They can't even do that right.

It already exists folks. The fact that they are allowing us to know about it is all the evidence we need to conclude that they (military/government) possess the technology in a useable form. RichJedi is right, they release information to us LONG after they discover/develop it.... has the need to remain in a fantasy realm replaced common sense? That scares me far more than anything the govt. could do. Remember the first Matrix when Neo is learning about the real world and he pukes? It's not wrong to have initial doubts. Remember Cypher's line when he bit into the steak?... "Ignorance is bliss..." lol

If you're woncering what to look for, here are a few starters. cuttingthroughthematrix.com infowars.com, and you can search youtube for a pretty good news story broadcast by the CBC regarding HAARP technology used by our govt. It's 3 videos. There is truth out there. But just as you don't find health related truth's on tv, so too you shouldn't expect to find truly cutting edge, investigative journalism that exposes govt/military secrets. What, corruption is confined to pharmacueticals and the FDA only? lol

And one more scary idea, that could become a reality shortly, ever seen the old twilight zone where the banker can suddenly read minds? He "saves the bank from being robbed" turns out the old guy never was gonna rob the joint, just a fantasy that gets him thru each day. How many will be locked up for fantasizing? How do they decide the mental difference between fantasy and intent? Dear me, So much wrong with this.

Seems to me the only reason this technology is now available is BECAUSE it has been fifty years now since introduction. That's the rule isn't it? The truly scary thing about even delving too far into these subjects on the internet goes back to having read 1984. Are those of us who looked into this matter eventually going to face our biggest fears? i.e RATS. Can you trust ANYBODY? ok boys and girls, get ready for your 2 minute hate. Is this really anything new? Sounds a lot like the Montauk project all over again. Well, minus the time travel part. And that was like 50 years ago. Anyone got an urge to dial a pnone # unknown to them? lol I'm craving cheeto's, which is REALLY unusual to me, Is Frito-lay a part of this?

If technology can read thoughts then the next obvious step is putting thoughts into our heads and in controlling our behaviour. My concern about this is when I see an attractive female and start to fantasise and consider my chances, will I then be charged with the indictment of 'mens rea' (latin for thought beforehand)? Enjoy free will when we still have it.

It was common knowledge in the 1960's that subliminal advertising was (at least reportedly) widely used in movies and tv...tenth-second or so blips of just enough of a message to impact on your unconscious but not conscious mind... "I would like you to meet my (CocaCola Good!! Drink now!!-blip!) cousin Hermione." Haven't heard from that in decades; don't think it up and walked away...

On the plus side, don;t forget that good old everyday polygraphs--lie detectors--are inadmissible as evidence, not really being even officially trusted...

Just start up another website that brokers big brother fearmongoring and urgency, embellish it with some half-truth visual clips, interject sponsors and products that offer a solution to this daily and pressing problem, then sit back collect the cash and become financially independent.

Douglas Trumbull, the high tech director and designer of unusual motion pictures and 3D thrill rides, made a prediction of this sort, complete with all the negative, military aspects and the wonderful sharing of positive emotional communicative feelings that allow people to understand who they are. I highly recommend watching his movie, "Brainstorm," starring Christopher Walken, Louise Fletcher, Natalie Wood (her final film), and Cliff Robertson. Though somewhat dated,Trumbull's 1984 vision is strangely familiar and compellingly predictive of things to come.

Just an aside to the article. I was told by an ex radiologist that her radiologist friends tell her that MRI scans reverse the polarity of cells exposed to the scan and that as far as they know this is not reversible.

Has anyone else heard of this disturbing news?
