Does anyone out there know how we could get the travesty of the FDA and the need for its overhaul or dissolution in front of and noticed by Pres Obama? I've written ad nauseum, before and after his campaign, joined groups, written through those, complained to congress, etc. I don't think I;ve ever heard Obama say much about the dangers this quasi-gov agency poses. An agency developed to protect the people of this country demonstrates the worst corruption and should be abolished or started anew as rather than protecting it instead does nothing but serve special interests at the expense of the people's health.

Quest again...Dr Hightower states that the Quest Mercury level is not informative, and they don't report at a level that indicates a problem level for all patients. This is stated if you watch the entire video at the 48:00 minute mark

Doesn't anybody see what's going on??????

The pharmaceutical companies have finally stopped producing vaccines with thimerosal (mercury). Obviously, autism rates will go down--unless they can come up with a way to continue to expose people to more and more mercury.

Gee, let's get them to eat more mercury-containing fish! We told them it wasn't safe, but uh-oh, that makes it obvious that vaccines aren't safe, so we'd better do some serious back-pedaling here.

So people will eat more tuna (the easiest available and least expensive fish) based on these recommendations, autism rates will continue to skyrocket, and the pharm industry will say, "See, we told you our vaccines didn't cause autism."

The article missed another source of mercury (at least in Wisconsin lakes & streams) according to this article from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel from 2008: "Unless there is a large industrial source in a community, about 50% of the mercury in wastewater flowing to sewage treatment plants comes from dental offices using silver amalgam, said Randy Case, community mercury reduction coordinator with the state Department of Natural Resources."

Fish? That's old news. Read the current Washington Post article about how some HFCS, which I didn't even know was processed using mercury (but the FDA did) has been foisted upon us for nearly 30 years but never tested for contamination until now. Did they find mercury in it? You betcha.

The laughable part is the Post reporter's conclusion that we should simply switch to the HFCS that is not processed using mercury.

Not all fish is contaminated. Wild Alaska salmon (Coho, Chinook and Sockeye) come from clean waters. Unlike farmed salmon (blech), their flesh is deep dark pink and firm. A chain like Whole Foods charges $25 per pound and up for wild Alaska salmon, but watch your local supermarket. Mine had a supply last week at under $8/pound. I bought all I could afford, and popped the excess in the freezer!

When I was diagnosed with mercury poisoning one doctor suggested I got it from eating seafood. Doctors do know of the risk. However, I hate seafood so that left my flu shot and fillings as a cause.

He teaches us that around 3 cloves of raw garlic (crushed) does a wonderful job in cleaning mercury toxicity out of the brain. So, I have Chilean Sea Bass once per month, but I make sure to accompany it with wonderful garlic for the next week.
