Some appear to do well on a vegetarian diet. Other need some animal foods to be truly healthy. My daughter's cardiologist is doing genetic testing that reveals that some of his patients with unexplained heart problems who do not respond adequately to use of supplements and detoxification actually are not handling sulfur well. Animal products are higher in sulfur, so he has them on a low sulfur diet (not meat and very little animal foods and no greens) until the excess sulfur is cleared out of their system. Then they may be able to advance to moderate levels of protein. A book I've been reading, The 7 Principles of Fat Burning, by Eric Berg, DC, makes a somewhat similar point, that some folks need less protein than others and do fine on a vegetarian type diet. He at least does recommend grass-fed meat and dairy when you do need more protein. This explains why there is this everlasting tension between vegetarians and ethical meat eaters. There are plenty of places in the world where it would be impossible to be a vegetarian on local foods.&lt;/p&gt;

And, if that isn't enough, their meat is bad for your health in many cases. I don't eat soy either because it is not a viable alternative to meat. Thanks for posting this very informative video. &lt;p&gt;I have seen time and time again doctors recommending garlic with out telling them do not eat if you are allergic to sulfa.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;What am I missing - has anything changed re:garlic in the past few years.&lt;/p&gt;

The Book of Leviticus in the Old Testament is all about how to slaughter beef for food. The group had big parties that lasted for days. Of course this means the animal is happy during its life as well. Lots of nice sounds and strokes. This intensive animal husbandry would make meat a scarcity and expensive, but we don't need much to reap the benefits of flesh meals. Nice is healthy. Happy trails all.&lt;/p&gt;

He told me of the numerous reports that proved sugar causes cancer we well as other illnesses. He told me 25 years ago, do not eat sugar unless you want to get cancer. The only way to avoid sugar is to eat fresh real food.&lt;/p&gt;

I liked some of what Mr. Null spoke about (other than the vegetarian diet and some things about meditation...). I thought it was unnecessary to show those clips of animals being brutalized. Where were they filmed? Most likely in foreign countries where there may be lower standards in the treatment of animals. I know there are many places in this country that have very good standards and practices. How about showing a local dairy or meat farm where the animals are grass fed? How about a free range chicken farm? I believe that footage was put in place to shock us into giving up meat! How about putting the same energy into saving the millions of babies that are aborted every year in this country!!&lt;/p&gt;

I would also add that it‘s necessary to take in lots of antioxidants. Therapeutic-grade essential oils are among the things that have the highest antioxidant level, according to the ORAC scale. So, make sure you use these types of oils instead of using pharmaceutical medicines. That is what we do.

But, wait! Don‘t run out to the nearest healthstore and purchase them. Unfortunately 90% of essential oils are adulterated here in the U.S. It‘s sad.... Make sure you KNOW your distrbutor. Make sure they offer only the highest grade essential oil. How can you tell? You can tell they are therapeutic grade and undadulterated if they have the AFNOR and ISO label.  

A way to boost your antioxidant level is by taking in lots of berries - blueberries, rasperries, blackberries... The berries that have the highest antioxidant level according to the ORAC scale AND the S-ORAC scale are the NingXia Wolfberries. These berries are mostly found in the NingXia region of China. However, Gary Young, founder of Young Living, now has a farm of them here in Utah. You might want to check those out too.
