It seems alot of products in the US use HFCS as the main sweetner, and i see more and more of these being marketed as 'organic', especially cereals etc. Its unfortunate that the fact products being sold as organic are also deluding people in to thinking that they are healthy!!! Its all marketing and messing with people's heads....especially when you see these HFCS as the 2nd or 3rd ingredient........very confusing for the 'average' consumer.

My mom was told by the doc to put a little Karo syrup in water so the water would taste better to us when we were babies, so we would drink it. Now, we are finding out one rotten thing after another, from vaccines, to fluoride, to GMO's, to all these lies they have been dishing out telling us things are good for us when they are not.

I had 4 c- sections and that is the only drug I have taken in my life. I don't drink soda's and I don't eat sugar. I use Stevia as a sweetner. I try not to eat anything that is bad. This is not getting any easier. As I read all these things about the world, I wonder what is a person to eat by and by.

I will claim the promise in the Bible that says you can eat any deadly thing and it will not harm you. And I will depend on The Lord Jesus Christ. Read your bible and pray every day. This is the wisest thing you can do.

As humans, eating is the most intimate process we engage in. So as far as the Processed Food Industry, and the Soft Drink Industry is concerned, they have done nothing wrong. We simply choose, or choose not to consume their products. Like being dropped in a field full of landmines. Stay still and you live. Move and you die. At the same time few of us know about the addicting qualities of HFCS. Not to mention other addictive qualities added to foods, and drinks to keep Americans consuming. MONEY. The root of all evil.

Lysl oxidase participates in the formation of collagen and elastin. You can follow the chain of events from there.

Just don't consume it! Like my 10 year old daughter says, "Just drink cyanide. It's quicker!"

I agree with allot of the things he has to say, however I don't agree that animal fat is bad for you. Especially if you get free range organic meats. There are some primitive cultures in Australia and Africa that eat mostly red meat in their diets and have for hundreds if not thousands of years and they are very healthy and have none of the degenerative diseases we have here. I also don't know if doing all those cleanses on a regular basis is such a good idea. I don't know how old Dr. Shulze is, but when he talks about how they wanted to operate on his heart, it was in the 1960's and he was 16 years old at the time. I turned 16 in the 1970's and am currently 46 years old, so I am assuming he is around 60 years old. I have one of his current newsletter solicitations from him that has a recent picture of him on the front. He does not look that healthy to me. I mean, take a look at him. He is all bald and grey, and has a gut on him like Santa Claus. I showed his picture to a few of my friends and they all said he looks like he is in his 60's. You would think with all them cleanses he does and other healthy things he does he would have an athletic body and look no older than 45 years old. Doctor Mercola has even had some articles on his web site about how eliminating meat from your diet can be really bad for some people. I tried his incurables program back in 2001 and after 15 days I got to where I could hardly walk so I had to stop it. Anyway what do you think about all this? Grouaaso

The gov. makes it cheaper for food processors to use the HFCS (which they of course have ruled "safe") than to use real sugar. We won't even touch on the fact that the FDA rules this safe, and that they make it cheaper for processors to use, then turn around and try to tell us why we are getting fat.

This article also doesn't mention the fact that HFCS blocks the signals that tell you when you are full, thus causing you to eat even more of it!

This article cracked me up and made me sick! It's funny how they play the "oh, I don't know why people are getting fat-it's diet food" kick. Well, just thought I'd put my 2 cents in. :)
