I was delighted to receive an e-mail correspondence from one of the top groups in the country fighting the anthrax dilemma in the military. If anyone knows someone in the military struggling with this issue, this web site and physician are an enormous benefit.

Hello doctor, I am a lawyer and reserve military officer involved in the anthrax-no movement. I came across your brief cautionary speil on it on your website. We are gearing up with lawyers, doctors and military officers to try to put an end to this parade of horribles and find recompense for the many, many victims of this deleterious vaccine - there have been terrible, serious side effects, including severe swelling of extremities, all skin peeling off, coma (2 recently), plus 2 others who died just this month, all within hours of the vaccines, and plenty of debilitating CFS/GWS symptoms. Think of the contamination of the public blood supply, the unknown effects on pregnancy and subsequent childbearing. And DOD is now making certain civilian personnel take the shot or have their jobs in jeopardy (I am an employment and cvil rights lawyer, believe me, this is happening). DOD's plans include extending this to the civilian population, hence, they have some 40+ other vaccines lined up to test on the military. Who benefits? Well, for one, pharmaceutical companies save a bundle of money avoiding clinical trials and development of these agents for commercial use later on. Be aware that in Sept 99, the president issued an Executive Order waiving informed consent on behalf of all of us military members to be given "investigational" vaccines.

This was supposed to have been banished with Nuremberg. I encourage you to join our fight against the most powerful interests in this country, view Dr. Meryl Nass's excellent website, www.anthraxvaccine.org (or search "anthrax vaccione home page"and look for her photo on the home page, so as not be confused with the Dept of Defense sites trying to drown her out. She has long been an anthrax expert and has posted many medical and government documents and her own congressional testimony. Also see the "anthrax-no" page. We need lawyers, doctors, and medical experts in every state, as the largest group to be vaccinated will the National Guard and Reserve.
