Get an Almost Free Computer

Why buy the farm when you can lease the cow for less? For $24.95 per month, with a three year commitment PeoplePC gives you a brand-name computer (IBM is one current partner), unlimited Internet access, and a Web site to call your own. Dr. Mercola's Comments:

The only downside is that if broadband internet access comes to your neighborhood you will be locked into a three year contract. It is a small downside as it is likely to cost $40 per month to get the broadband high-speed connection, and the conventional speed will be $25 with a free computer. If you don't believe that you will need the high-speed connection and do not have a computer this appears to be a fabulous deal. It is nearly free internet access for three years as you are only committing to $900 and you get a free computer and monitor which less than two years ago would cost well over $1,000 for a comparably priced PC and if you were to take that same PC they are giving you and price it back two years ago, it would be well over $3,000 and perhaps $4,000 dollars.

I have absolutely no financial interest in this company, but just thought that it was an incredible bargain.
