Recent Advances in the Nutritional Treatment of Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis affects more than 25 million Americans -- mostly women past menopause -- approximately 1.2 million bone fractures each year in the US are related to osteoporosis.

In the past decade it has become evident that vitamin K has a significant role to play in human health that is beyond its well-established function in blood clotting.

It also appears that vitamin K may be one of the most important nutritional factors in preventing hardening of the arteries.

I am co-writting a review on this exciting topic with the director of the Vitamin K Lab for the Human Research and Nutrition Center at Tufts University for the British Medical Journal and hope to have it published later this year.

In the meantime I will provide the latest information on this important topic in a lecture in Hoffman Estates, IL on Saturday, March 23.

The presentation will review the basics of my eating and juicing plan and how the vitamin K and D and calcium can improve your bone density.

Recent studies have shown vitamin K equivalent to Fosamax type drugs. The dose and timing is very important and I will discuss that in detail.

Plenty of time will be given for questions and answers.

We will be professionally filming this presentation and providing it as a resource in DVD format Anyone attending will need to sign a video release form..

I will also be doing a one hour introduction to EFT immediately prior to the presentation. It will describe how EFT works and explain how to do it.
