There have been many serious adverse reactions linked to vaccines that were recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The CDC determines the list of vaccinations that pediatricians give children and also monitor vaccine safety by keeping track of possible side effects. The number of recommended vaccines for children has doubled since the 1980s.
However, some say the CDC has a close relationship to vaccine manufacturers. For instance, the CDC's Vaccine Advisory Committee gets money from vaccine manufacturers. Other close ties have also surfaced, such as sharing a vaccine patent, owning stock in a vaccine company, payments for research, and getting money to monitor manufacturer vaccine tests.
Critics say the organization, which says its goal is to protect the public from disease and vaccine side effects, represents a conflict of interest that could hurt or kill people and children.

The annual global market for vaccines is expected to go from $6 billion today to $10 billion by 2006. With this kind of money to be made, it’s not surprising that health officials are recommending that children get more and more vaccines.
Vaccines are full of toxic chemicals such as formaldehyde, glutaraldehyde, 2-Phenoxyethanol (the chemical name for antifreeze), and thimerosal (a mercury-containing preservative). Are these things that you would want injected into your, or your child’s, arm?
Vaccinations have caused damaging effects to thousands of people, yet studies to determine vaccine safety remain largely inadequate. You can read about adverse events caused by vaccines at the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) Web site.
Whether you are a health consumer or a health practitioner, the dangers of vaccines and what you can do about it is CRUCIAL to understand if you want to adequately protect your health and the health of those you care about.
