The British government ruled to compulsorily vaccinate two girls with the three-in-one MMR vaccine. The girls’ mothers did not want their children vaccinated, while the fathers, who brought up the case, did.
Although researchers have suggested the vaccine may be linked to autism and other diseases, the court ruled that it was in the children’s best interest to receive the vaccination.

This is a case of government at its worst. They're taking the arrogant position that they know better and are refusing to accept the mountain of evidence that MMR vaccines are linked to autism by classifying the research as "junk science."
The United States has many things wrong with it, but at least we haven't stooped so low as to force these immunizations. Although many schools will not allow children to attend without some vaccines, parents usually always have options.
